<t><p class="indent1">Who keeps<MH8104> from profaning<MH2490c> the Sabbath<MH7676>, <t><p class="indent1">And keeps<MH8104> his hand<MH3027> from doing<MH6213a> any<MH3605> evil<MH7451a>.” <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>Let not the foreigner<MH1121, 5236> who has joined<MH3867a> himself to the LORD<MH3068> say<MH559>, <p class="indent1stline">“The LORD<MH3068> will certainly<MH914> separate<MH914> me from His people<MH5971a>.” <t><p class="indent1">Nor<MH408> let the eunuch<MH5631> say<MH559>, “Behold<MH2005>, I am a dry<MH3002> tree<MH6086>.” <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>For this<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the LORD<MH3068> says<MH559>: <p class="indent1stline">“To the eunuchs<MH5631> who<MH834> keep<MH8104> My Sabbaths<MH7676>, <t><p class="indent1">And choose<MH977> what<MH834> pleases<MH2654a> Me, <t><p class="indent1">And hold<MH2388> firmly<MH2388> to My covenant<MH1285>, <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>To them I will give<MH5414> in My house<MH1004> and within My walls<MH2346> a memorial<MH3027>, <t><p class="indent1">And a name<MH8034> better<MH2896a> than<MH4480> that of sons<MH1121> and daughters<MH1323>; <t><p class="indent1">I will give<MH5414> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[a]</a></span>them an everlasting<MH5769> name<MH8034> which<MH834> will not be eliminated<MH3772>. <poetry><p class="paragraph"><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>“Also the foreigners<MH1121, 5236> who join<MH3867a> themselves to the LORD<MH3068>, <t><p class="indent1">To attend<MH8334> to His service<MH8334> and to love<MH157> the name<MH8034> of the LORD<MH3068>, <t><p class="indent1">To be His servants<MH5650>, every<MH3605> one<MH3605> who keeps<MH8104> the Sabbath<MH7676> so as not to profane<MH2490c> it, <t><p class="indent1">And holds<MH2388> firmly<MH2388> to My covenant<MH1285>; <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>Even those I will bring<MH935> to My holy<MH6944> mountain<MH2022>, <t><p class="indent1">And make<MH8055> them joyful<MH8055> in My house<MH1004> of prayer<MH8605>. <t><p class="indent1">Their burnt<MH5930a> offerings<MH5930a> and their sacrifices<MH2077> will be acceptable<MH7522> on My altar<MH4196>; <t><p class="indent1">For My house<MH1004> will be called<MH7121> a house<MH1004> of prayer<MH8605> for all<MH3605> the peoples<MH5971a>.” <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>The Lord<MH136> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[b]</a></span>GOD<MH3068>, who gathers<MH6908> the dispersed<MH5080> of Israel<MH3478>, declares<MH5002>, <p class="indent1stline">“I will yet<MH5750> gather<MH6908> <i>others</i> to <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>them, to those <i>already</i> gathered<MH6908>.” <poetry><p class="paragraph"><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>All<MH3605> you <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>wild<MH7706a> animals<MH2421b>, <t><p class="indent1">All<MH3605> you animals<MH2421b> in the forest<MH3293a>, <t><p class="indent1">Come<MH857> to eat<MH398>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>His watchmen<MH6822> are blind<MH5787>, <t><p class="indent1">All<MH3605> of them know<MH3045> nothing<MH3808>. <t><p class="indent1">All<MH3605> of them are mute<MH483> dogs<MH3611> unable<MH3808, 3201> to bark<MH5024>, <t><p class="indent1">Dreamers<MH1957> lying<MH7901> down<MH7901>, who love<MH157> to slumber<MH5123>; <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/56-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>And the dogs<MH3611> are <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>greedy<MH5315, 5794>, they <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>are never<MH3808> satisfied<MH3045, 7654>. <t><p class="indent1">And they are shepherds<MH7462a> who have<MH3045> no<MH3808> understanding<MH995>;
