They varied from typical war emblems (swords, axes, torpedoes etc.) to humorous (Mickey Mouse on U-26) coincidental (the horseshoes on U-99) and many other reasons prompted an emblem. This ensures much higher quality of emblems and also opens up the possibility of having much larger versions without losing quality. All <strong>Emblems of the Week</strong> pages will use vector-created images and older emblems will be replaced by the newer format.</p> <p>Additionally there are <strong>600</strong> emblems that have been described but are as of now without actual image.
