הינה התקופה החשוכה ביותר בשנה,בה הימים מתקצרים והלילות מתארכים. זאת גם התקופה בה נוצרו המיתוסים סביב האור והחושך וחגי האור בתרבויות השונות.</p> <p>השנה נדמה כי החושך עמוק במיוחד, הכאב גדול וגם הפחד, הבלבול והזעם. בצל המלחמה אנו גם בסכנה של התגברות קולות הקוראים לפירוד ומסיתים לשנאה ולכן דווקא עכשיו עלינו להגביר את האור, לקדם חיים משותפים בינינו ובין שכנינו הערבים, לקרוא לסולידריות ושוויון אל מול הסתה וגזענות הפושטת ברחובות.</p> <p>בשנת 2016 יזמה הרבה יעל קריא שהייתה בזמנו הרבה של שער הנגב, את מביאור ואנו שמחים לחדש את הפרויקט . התנועה הרפורמית  יוצאת בסדרת אירועים בין דתיים במהלך דצמבר –  לרגל חנוכה / היום הקצר בשנה / סביב יום זכויות האדם הבינלאומי שחל ביום 10 לדצמבר או לקראת חג המולד. </p> <p> בחודש החשוך בשנה נתמודד עם מעגל האלימות דרך מפגשים של  מוסלמים נוצרים ויהודים תוך שיחה, תפילה, לימוד ויצירה משותפים. ניצור רשת כלל ארצית שתגיע למאסה קריטית של מפגשים שיתקיימו במהלך חודש דצמבר, ובתקווה יולידו גם מפגשי המשך ועשייה משותפת, וביחד נגביר את האור.</p> <p></p> <h2 <cite>(בבלי, עבודה זרה ח, ע"א)</cite></blockquote> <p></p> <p>לפי המדרש, אדם הראשון חש שבגלל חטאיו העולם מתקצר והולך וסופו שתיפָּרם הבריאה והוא ישוב לתוהו. החרדה הקיומית הביאה אותו לעשות תשובה, וכשראה שהיום מתחיל להתארך, הסיק מכך שנשמעו תפילותיו וקבע את הימים כחג לדורות.</p> <p>לסיפור הזה יש אופי אגדי מובהק אבל הוא חושף מצוקה אנושית רחבה ומעניק טעם קדום לחג החנוכה, טעם שקדם הן לסיפורו של יהודה המכבי והן לסיפור נס השמן. ואכן תרבויות רבות חוגגות חגים הקשורים לאור, לחום או לאש בזמן הזה של השנה. החושך והקור גורמים לצורך במעין אישור ותקווה להיוולדות המחודשת של השמש. לא יהיה זה מופרך לסבור שהמכבים "גיירו" חג שהיה קיים במרחב התרבותי שלהם, ואשר התאפיין ככל הנראה בהדלקת נרות, משואות ולפידים, והפכו את הדלקת הנרות למצווה העיקרית של החג.</p> <p></p> </div> </div> <div class="container side">
