如果地暖系统按照施工要求进行设计和施工，出现地暖温度上升缓慢或者一直上不去的情况，出现的原因有三种：①湿度太大，新房的湿度比较大，老房也会因为长时间处于湿度大的环境下造成湿度过大，因此墙体或者家具储存了很多的水分，而地暖烤干这些水分花费的时间和消耗的热量会更多，这也是地暖每年第一次开机时间很长的原因之一；②保温太差，相比之下北方的住房更加注重保温效果，在南方很多的住房还会铲除掉室内的保温材料，以求增大住房面积，这就造成建筑体的热损失比较大，部分家庭使用的窗户玻璃隔热性不好，而且一些人习惯开窗通风，导致房间的热损失比较大，使得热量很长时间也不能满足房间的需求；③开关习惯，房间要达到地暖的温度需求需要一定的时间，当房间温度达到之后，系统就会进入保温和维持状态，温度下降就会加热，温度达到了就会暂停，如果因为温度达到之后就关闭采暖系统，这就导致没有更多的热量快速补充消耗的热量，房间里面和地面的热量就会流失而降温，此时再重新开启采暖设备，加热地面需要更多的热量，当地面温度饱和之后才有更多的热量传出来，这就导致地暖的温度来得慢，而且更加地耗能。 现在很多地区有着峰谷分时电价政策，白天的电价高，夜晚的电价低。有人为了节省电费，仅在夜晚温度低的时候使用空气能热泵采暖，在白天的时候关闭空气能热泵主机，依靠夜间的蓄热达到房间的温度保持。虽然这样可以节省一部分电费，但也会带来隐患和能耗高的问题，地暖的储热在不持续供热的情况下，只有几个小时的保温时间，如果环境温度非常低，贸然地切断空气能热泵主机的电源，容易导致热泵主机和管道出现冰冻的情况，系统要运行起来就比较困难了，而且还容易冻坏热泵主机。当然夜晚的所存储的热量在白天被耗尽了，夜晚再重新加热地暖，此时加热地暖的温差更大，夜间的环境温度也更低，消耗的电能也会更多，地暖达到的时间也会加长。因此冬季使用空气能热泵采暖是一个连续的过程，不要开开停停，房间的温度稳定了，热泵主机启动的频率也会下降，消耗的电能也会减少。
