She became fiction editor of <a href="/entry/weird_tales">Weird Tales</a> in 2007, and editor-in-chief 2010-2011, when the journal was purchased by Marvin <a href="/entry/kaye_marvin">Kaye</a>; she remained a contributing editor until 2012. She won a <a href="/entry/hugo">Hugo</a> award in 2009 for the magazine.
