posting a 1.5% growth in the fourth quarter of 2024 (4Q24) and reaching $5.1 billion—an increase of $77 million year-over-year. Security appliance shipments totaled 1.2 million units, reflecting a 2.7% growth compared to the same period in 2023 (4Q24 vs. 4Q23).</P><P>IDC completed an update in the Security Appliances taxonomy and applied market changes during 2023Q1, resizing the market by removing revenues associated with software or services that don’t qualify for reporting in this hardware market view.
