The study group consists of 299 students attending secondary schools in the city of Mugla, Turkey, who voluntarily participated in the study. For the construct validity of the scale, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA), a three-factor structure was elicited for the factors of “Sensitivity”, “Trustability”, and “Responsibility”. This three-factor structure together explains 41.11% of the total variance. The scale comprises of 30 items that can be assigned scores ranging from “1 (Never)” to “4 (Always)”. When the findings obtained through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were evaluated, χ2/df ratio was found to be 2.93. The 30-item, three-factor structure obtained as a result of EFA was also examined using CFA and the results showed that the scale yields good fit values. For the trustability of the scale, item-total correlation and Cronbach’s Alpha internal consistency coefficient were analyzed. In conclusion, a valid and reliable scale with adequate psychometric features was developed in order to determine the values of secondary school students As a result of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA), a three-factor structure was elicited for the factors of “Sensitivity”,\n“Trustability”, and “Responsibility”. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale to determine the attitudes of children toward child&#39;s rights. Study group of the study comprised a total of 610 students receiving education in grade three, grade four and grade five in Kırıkkale province. We performed the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) on the data. The EFA determined that the scale comprised 19 items and four factors. These dimensions were named &quot;Living&quot;, &quot;Development&quot;, &quot;Protection&quot; and &quot;Participation&quot;. The CFA analysis confirmed the four-factor structure. The Cronbach&#39;s Alpha reliability coefficient was α .80 for the total scale, α .82 for sub-factor one, α .82 for sub-factor two, α .81 for sub-factor three and α .89 for sub-factor four. Also, we calculated item analysis statistics and total item correlations based on the difference of sub-super group averages within the scope of reliability analyses. There was a significant difference between the group with a higher attitude score and the group with a lower attitude score in the scale on the basis of item score and score average. The obligation of needs fulfillment, which is classified as physiologic and psychological needs, constitutes the fundamentals of individual behaviors. Moreover, values which appear as a criterion in an individual’s opinion, attitude and behaviour also defines the things a person considers important and thus it shows, preferences, desired and undesired things. Values, which are directly related to feelings, opinions and behavior levels, are seen important in the relationship between psychological needs and values. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship level between human values (responsibility, friendship, peaceful, respect, tolerance and honesty) and psychological needs (relatedness, competence and autonomy). In this research survey method was used. 456 students, who attend several high schools and were chosen randomly, constituted the sample (47,8% male; 52,2% female). The human value perceptions of the students were measured by Human Values Scale. The psychological needs were measured by Basic Psychological Needs Scale which has relationship, efficiency and autonomy sub dimensions. Totally, 611 middle school students (302 boys, corresponding to 49.43% and 309 girls, corresponding to 50.57%) participated in the Study 1, and 759 middle school students (369 boys, corresponding to 48.62% and 390 girls, corresponding to 51.38%) participated to Study 2. In Study 1, exploratory factor analysis suggested that the SKS has a unidimensional structure, with factor loadings varying from .64 to .72.
