The Bible provides numerous examples of revival, both in the Old and New Testaments.<br><br>One of the most notable instances of revival in the Old Testament is found in the book of <a href="/2_chronicles/7-14.htm">2 Chronicles 7:14</a> , where God promises, "If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." This verse underscores the conditions for revival: humility, prayer, seeking God, and repentance.<br><br>In the New Testament, the Day of Pentecost in <a href="/bsb/acts/2.htm">Acts 2</a> is a prime example of revival.
