The night my oldest son was born in 1957, I was watching this movie in the maternity waiting room. It has all the aspects of a real Thriller movie. Richard Baseheart's character was a homicidal killer who killed for pleasure. He would randomly kill his victim, then escape by rolling into the storm sewer system of Los Angeles. In one scene he is shot in the shoulder, and removes the bullet by performing surgery on himself. This was also Jack Webb's first movie, who later stared in "Dragnet" and "Pete Kelly's Blues". The irony of this movie, I did not see the ending. My 9 pound 6 ounce baby boy was born half way through the movie. I noticed that it is now on DVD and I plan to purchase it to see the ending...

Have you seen this film?
