Methodological exchanges</div> </div> <div class="tabMenu"><a href="#intro-1712-fr" hreflang="fr" class="active">Français</a> <a href="#intro-1712-en" hreflang="en">English</a> </div> <div id="intro-1712-fr" class="tabContent ltr" lang="fr" xml:lang="fr"> <p><strong>Yaramila Tchérémissinoff</strong> et <strong>Aurore Schmitt</strong>, coordinatrices et éditrices de la journée</p> <p>Depuis <a href="https://halshs.archives-ouvertes.fr/halshs-00956198">environ sept ans</a>, les outils informatiques liés au géoréférencement des données (photogrammétrie, SIG, modèles 3D) se sont considérablement démocratisés sous la forme d’une plus grande accessibilité des logiciels en termes d’acquisition et de traitement des données. Dans le cadre de la discipline archéologique en particulier, une politique d’installation de logiciels dédiés très performants, couplés à la mise en place de services supports, de référents et de formations, permet désormais aux archéologues d’intégrer pleinement ces outils aux stratégies de fouilles et d’études.<br class="autobr" />Dans le cadre de l’archéologie funéraire, ces logiciels ont rencontré un fort engouement (séminaires du réseau « ISA » en 2013 à Pessac et <a href="https://archeomatic.wordpress.com/2015/05/18/4-5-juin-a-tours-seminaire-evena-outils-danalyse-des-processus-de-depot-et-des-evenements-post-depositionnels-a-lechelle-de-la-tombe/">« EVENA » à Tours en 2015</a>) pleinement justifié par le fait qu’ils touchent à l’objet même de la pratique archéologique contemporaine, c’est-à-dire à la cotation des vestiges en vue de l’analyse de leur répartition spatiale. De tels outils se révèlent particulièrement précieux pour l’étude des sépultures collectives. Ils permettent notamment l’enregistrement et l’exploitation d’une masse de données complexes et considérables, dont le traitement constituait, auparavant, un obstacle majeur y compris en termes de faisabilité. De nombreux retours d’expérience relatifs à la fouille de tels contextes sont désormais possibles. Ils témoignent probablement de différentes réussites, comme c’est généralement le cas dans les phases de renouvellement méthodologique important, mais ils sont surtout des outils permettant de développer des problématiques transdisciplinaires à l’échelle du gisement.<br />Cette <a href="http://lampea.cnrs.fr/spip.php?article3684">journée d'échanges méthodologiques</a> organisée par le <a href="http://lampea.cnrs.fr/">Laboratoire méditerranéen de Préhistoire Europe Afrique</a>, le <a href="http://umr7268-ades.fr/index.php/fr/">Laboratoire d'Anthropologie bio-culturelle, Droit, Éthique et Santé</a> et l'<a href="https://www.inrap.fr/">Institut national de recherches archéologiques préventives</a> s'est tenue à Aix-en-Provence à la Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l'homme. Elle a permis de confirmer l'intégration par la communauté des enjeux relatifs à l'acquisition et au traitement des données de terrain, l'appropriation d'outils et le développement des savoir-faire.<br />Les articles proposés ici illustrent la richesse des communications mais également des discussions qui ont fait l'objet d'une retranscription intégrale, placée à la suite de chaque présentation.</p> <p>Mots-clés : sépultures collectives, échanges méthodologiques, 3D, SIG, photogrammétrie</p></div> <div id="intro-1712-en" class="tabContent hidden ltr" lang="en" xml:lang="en"> <p><strong>Yaramila Tchérémissinoff</strong> and <strong>Aurore Schmitt</strong>, coordinators and editors of the meeting</p> <p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US">For <a href="https://halshs.archives-ouvertes.fr/halshs-00956198">nearly seven years</a>, computer tools related to data geo-referencing (photogrammetry, GIS, 3D models) have become considerably more democratic in the </span>way <span lang="EN-US">of a greater accessibility of software dedicated to data acquisition and processing. In the archaeological field in particular, a policy of setting up high-performance dedicated software, paired with the implementation of support services, referents and training, now allows archaeologists to </span>incorporate <span lang="EN-US">fully </span>the use of<span lang="EN-US"> these tools into excavation and study strategies.</span></span></span><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US"><br />In the field of funeral archaeology, these software products have met with great interest (seminars of the "ISA" network in 2013 in Pessac and <a href="https://archeomatic.wordpress.com/2015/05/18/4-5-juin-a-tours-seminaire-evena-outils-danalyse-des-processus-de-depot-et-des-evenements-post-depositionnels-a-lechelle-de-la-tombe/">"EVENA" in Tours in 2015</a>), fully justified since they touch on the very object of contemporary archaeological practice, i.e. the recording of the remains in order to analyse their spatial distribution. Such tools are particularly valuable for the study of </span>collective burials<span lang="EN-US">. In particular, they allow the recording and exploitation of a very large amount of complex data, the processing of which previously posed </span>a high hurdle<span lang="EN-US"> even in terms of feasibility. Many feedbacks on the excavation of such contexts are now possible.
