1人目も2人目も有難いことにすぐに出来たため、避妊失敗＝妊娠となる可能性が高い。もし3人目を妊娠した場合、経済面よりも3人を育てる労力が足りないと考え、「絶対に作らないようにしよう」と決めた。避妊方法はパイプカットのほかにこれまで通りコンドームピルミレーナあたりを検討したが、パイプカットが一番妊娠リスクが低く、身体への負担も少ないと判断した。また手術をするとは言え、1時間程度でできるパイプカット。二人の子を産んでくれた妻に比べたら圧倒的に少ない労力だということ</p>
