This<MH2088> <i>was</i> the inheritance<MH5159> of the tribe<MH4294> of the sons<MH1121> of Simeon<MH8095> according to their families<MH4940>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/joshua/19-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>The inheritance<MH5159> of the sons<MH1121> of Simeon<MH8095> <i>was taken</i> from the portion<MH2506> of the sons<MH1121> of Judah<MH3063>, because<MH3588> the share<MH2506> of the sons<MH1121> of Judah<MH3063> was too<MH4480> large<MH7227a> for them; so the sons<MH1121> of Simeon<MH8095> received<MH5157> an<MH5157> inheritance<MH5157> in the midst<MH8432> of <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>Judah’s inheritance<MH5159>. <p class="hdg">Territory of Zebulun</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/joshua/19-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>Now the third<MH7992> lot<MH1486> came<MH5927> up<MH5927> for the sons<MH1121> of Zebulun<MH2074> according to their families<MH4940>. and it reached<MH6293> to Carmel<MH3760> on the west<MH3220> and Shihor-libnath<MH7884>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/joshua/19-27.htm"><b>27</b></a></span>It turned<MH7725> toward the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>east<MH4217, 8121> to Beth-dagon<MH1016> and reached<MH6293> Zebulun<MH2074>, and to the Valley<MH1516> of Iphtahel<MH3317> northward<MH6828> to Beth-emek<MH1025> and Neiel<MH5272b>; for the sons<MH1121> of Dan<MH1835> went<MH5927> up<MH5927> and fought<MH3898a> with Leshem<MH3959> and captured<MH3920> it.
