<t><p class="indent1">Release<MH6605a> yourself from the chains<MH4147> around your neck<MH6677>, <t><p class="indent1">Captive<MH7628a> daughter<MH1323> of Zion<MH6726>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/52-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>For this<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the LORD<MH3068> says<MH559>: “You were sold<MH4376> for<MH2600> nothing<MH2600>, and you will be redeemed<MH1350> without<MH3808> money<MH3701>.” <span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/52-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>For this<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the Lord<MH136> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[a]</a></span>GOD<MH3068> says<MH559>: “My people<MH5971a> went<MH3381> down<MH3381> to Egypt<MH4714> first<MH7223> to reside<MH1481a> there<MH8033>; then the Assyrian<MH804b> oppressed<MH6231> them without<MH657> reason<MH657>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/52-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>And now<MH6258>, what<MH4100> do I have here<MH6311>,” declares<MH5002> the LORD<MH3068>, “seeing<MH3588> that<MH3588> My people<MH5971a> have been taken<MH3947> away without<MH2600> reason<MH2600>?” <i>Again</i> the LORD<MH3068> declares<MH5002>, “Those who rule<MH4910> over them howl<MH3213>, and My name<MH8034> is continually<MH8548> reviled<MH5006> all<MH3605> day<MH3117> long. <span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/52-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Therefore<MH3651>, My people<MH5971a> shall know<MH3045> My name<MH8034>;
