Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case.</td><td width="20%" class="odd" valign="top"><a href="/galatians/3-15.htm">15</a>To give a human example, brothers: even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified.</td><td width="20%" class="odd" valign="top"><a href="/galatians/3-15.htm">15</a>Brethren, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is only a man's covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it.</td><td width="20%" class="odd" valign="top"><a href="/galatians/3-15.htm">15</a>Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.</td><td width="20%" class="odd" valign="top"><a href="/galatians/3-15.htm">15</a>Brothers, I'm using a human illustration. No one sets aside or makes additions to even a human covenant that has been ratified. </td></tr></table> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="center"><tr><td width="20%" class="even" valign="top"><a href="/galatians/3-16.htm">16</a>The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ.</td><td width="20%" class="even" valign="top"><a href="/galatians/3-16.htm">16</a>Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring.
