href="https://policies.anu.edu.au/ppl/document/ANUP_008802"><span class="s1 s2">Open Access policy</span></a><span class="s1"> and associated procedures, including the </span><a href="https://policies.anu.edu.au/ppl/document/ANUP_008803"><span class="s1 s2">research</span></a><span class="s1"> and </span><a href="https://policies.anu.edu.au/ppl/document/ANUP_008804"><span class="s1 s2">education procedures</span></a><span class="s1">.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The new policy and associated procedures have been discussed extensively by a number of University committees and reflect the University's commitment to broad dissemination of knowledge and the changing landscape of publication. These include the recent directives from the </span><a href="http://www.arc.gov.au/arc-open-access-policy"><span class="s1 s2">Australian Research Council (ARC)</span></a><span class="s1">, the </span><a href="https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/about-us/publications/open-access-policy"><span class="s1 s2">National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC)</span></a><span class="s1"> and other funders.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Researchers are now required by the University to deposit metadata shortly after publisher acceptance followed by a copy of most research outputs to the University's </span><a href="https://openresearch-repository.anu.edu.au/community-list"><span class="s1 s2">Open Research Repository</span></a><span class="s1"> within 12 months of publication.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">All ANU students and staff are encouraged to look at the </span><a href="https://policies.anu.edu.au/ppl/document/ANUP_008802"><span class="s1 s2">policy and associated procedures</span></a><span class="s1"> and contact </span><a href="mailto:repository.admin@anu.edu.au"><span class="s1 s2">Open Research staff</span></a><span class="s1">
