It has most of the features that a paid video editor account offers. It's not complex for someone who is a newbie, suggestion videos and tutorials come handy to get used to all the features. The basic functions are easy to locate and get the work done at a minimal time. It has been a great help with work reducing the time to finish from several days before to just a few hours now. Pretty impressive for free software.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I do wish the transition effects that you get with this program were smoother and fancier. If you use them on your work, they end up looking cheap and you end up having to manually make those transitions if you really want to have an output that looks professional. The fact that it has the features it has while also being free is really impressive. The features it has are comparable to other similar software in the market; if you want something better you'd have to pay a lot of money. I like how good the effects that comes with the software are, specifically the lighting effects. I also appreciate how easy it is to use, as you can just click and edit to add effects to a clip. You can also work with 3D using this free software, which is something that I'm sure other video editors will really appreciate. Another thing that I appreciate is how good the customer support for this software is, even if you get it for free. The resources at your fingertips when you start learning to use this is also commendable. Numerous video tutorials are on their website, so you have no trouble learning. I also like that there are a number of add-ons available in case you want to make more detailed edits and add more complex effects.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> It's ridiculous to think that this software has no Dolby AC3 support unless you get an add-on. It really is a good deal, especially since you can use it both on a PC and on a Mac. I like that sharing project files is easy, since this software works on both operating systems. I also like how powerful this software's features are, especially when you compare it to other free video editing software. It can even handle 4K and 360 videos, which is quite impressive. I was also impressed that there are a number of effects here that you only find in high-end software, and that you can work on multiple monitors thanks to the tools for realtime editing that come with the software. I'm also pleased with the look of the interface, as well as the number of tutorials available online that helps you learn how to use the software. I also think vloggers will appreciate the software's Youtube direct upload function.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I think it's normal to look for a catch when you get something for free, and in this case, the catch is with the limited export options you get with this software. This is really obvious when you compare it to this software's pro edition. You need to shell out money if you want to use those options. There are also a number of add-ons and effects that you only get to use if you pay for it. I also had to deal with not having to do a lot with 3D options because a chroma key add-on isn't available in the free version. There was also an instance where I worked with GoPro fusion 360 videos and the program ended up crashing on me. All I needed to do to get this software was to go to their site and register. But other than the fact that it is free, I also liked that a Windows and Mac version exists, so that more people can use this software. I also appreciated the fact that this software didn't take too much space on my computer so that even people with machines that aren't as high-end are still able to use this software. I found the editing features and options to be exceptional and I also liked how many options I had when it came to customization. There were a lot of transitions and effects that I could use. Another thing that I appreciated is that you can get additional effects simply by heading to the library associated with the product. Other users will also like that this software can handle videos with 4K resolutions, especially since you get this software for free.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I wish that I didn't have to pay to get additional exporting options since the current version of this software only has a limited number of options when it comes to exporting. I like the features offered for camera movements, title transitions, and slow motion, just to name a few. Another thing I like is the support it has for a number of export formats, as well as how it optimizes it for things like social media. There is a steep learning curve when trying to get the hang of the software, but once you get it it will be really useful to you. It has been a great help to me in my work as an artist.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I wish that the future version would have more transition options. This effect can all be used to come up with things like explosions, flashes, and the like. To be fair, you can also get those from Adobe After Effects, but the difference is that you have to download another pack which is another expense and will probably take up even more space on your computer. I like that with this software I get pretty much the same effects but at a lower cost to me. Another thing that I love about this software is that it allows me to take audio or video recorded from different devices and automatically sync them. I can load them in separate layers, with the software lining them up perfectly.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> While I think this software has a lot of advantages over Adobe Premiere Pro, it still does not have that software's ability to do video broadcasting. Having said that, if you compare this software to others, I think this still emerges as the top software that gives you features that are also available in suites like Adobe After Effects. I really like that this has a free version that has a user-friendly interface. I appreciate that it has made it easier for me to trim, time remap, and color grade. I've even been able to use some transition effects. I would definitely recommend trying out this software first before deciding to spend hundreds of dollars on a subscription.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There are still a number of things that I think can be improved with this software. Adding a warp stabilizer feature would be really appreciated. The transition effects are pretty basic and I think they can add more in future versions. I honestly this is the best video editing software for simple projects and visual effects. It may not have more advanced tools, but I can understand that since it is a free program. I like that it has features for multi-track and timeline editing, even as free software. Another thing that I like and enjoy working with is their interface and the dark color theme that it has.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I do wish that this software had more options for exporting because currently, you have to pay if you want to have more choices. I think they can also make this more user-friendly since I think new users will have to contend with a steep learning curve when they start using this. On top of that, setting it up and actually using it is also easy to do. I like how useful it is when it comes to editing photos and videos and how easy files can be exported. I also appreciated how easy to use it for beginners like I am when it comes to enhancing videos.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> While I do like this software, there is one thing that can be improved. I wish that it didn't take so long for the video preview to show up, because it always seems like it's buffering. This was really frustrating and almost enough for me to stop using this software. I also appreciate that despite being free, there are so many editing features provided to the user. I especially like how it allows me to perform a motion blur. I went on a search engine and found this video editing software. I really like the multiple options that this free software gives me. Compared to the video editing software that I was using beforehand, this one really gives me more. It is so easy to use and it has been really helpful to me when I need to add watermarks or add and edit background audio. Even using this software was a really great experience for me. If I was asked for a recommendation, I would recommend this software without any hesitation.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> One thing I think they can really improve on is by providing users with a way to learn how to use the software. There aren't any instructional videos that come with the software, so I had to search for videos online to really get the hang of using this.
