class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Purpose: This study aimed to explore the interaction of male and female age on implantation failure from in vitro fertilisation (IVF)/ intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatments in couples following their first cycles using the Anhui Maternal-Child Health Study (AMCHS). Methods: The AMCHS recruited 2042 infertile couples who were physically fit for in vitro fertilisation (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment at the Reproductive Centre of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University between May 2017 to April 2021. This prospective cohort study analysed the data from 1910 cohort couples for the current paper data analysis. The multivariate logistic regression model was used to identify the effect of male and female age on implantation failure after controlling for confounding factors. Male age and female age were examined as continuous and categorical (male age: 20-<25, 25-<30, 30-<35, 35-<40, ≥40; female age: 20-<25, 25-<30, 30-<35, 35-<40, ≥40) predictors. Results: Logistic regression indicated that advanced maternal age was associated with increased implantation failure (P<0.001). There was evidence of an interaction between maternal age (30-<35 and ≥ 35) and paternal age (≥35) on implantation failure. (p<0.05). Only when the male was ≥35 years of increased maternal age was associated with the risk of implantation failure. Conclusion: In conclusion, there was an additive effect on implantation failure with advanced parental age. The impact of advanced maternal age was only seen in the older paternal age group. The delay of childbearing in both men and women will be a serious public issue that may contribute to a higher risk of implantation failure in patients needing assisted reproductive technology (ART). <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=parental%20age" title="parental age">parental age</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=infertility" title=" infertility"> infertility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cohort%20study" title=" cohort study"> cohort study</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=IVF" title=" IVF"> IVF</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156793/association-between-advanced-parental-age-and-implantation-failure-a-prospective-cohort-study-in-anhui-china" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156793.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">153</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">205</span> Research and Development of Net-Centric Information Sharing Platform</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wang%20Xiaoqing">Wang Xiaoqing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fang%20Youyuan"> Fang Youyuan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zheng%20Yanxing"> Zheng Yanxing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gu%20Tianyang"> Gu Tianyang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zong%20Jianjian"> Zong Jianjian</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tong%20Jinrong"> Tong Jinrong</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Compared with traditional distributed environment, the net-centric environment brings on more demanding challenges for information sharing with the characteristics of ultra-large scale and strong distribution, dynamic, autonomy, heterogeneity, redundancy. However, what determines social enterprises to internationalize is underexplored. This study aims to answer this question by conducting a systematic review of studies of past 20 years on social enterprises' internationalization. Findings reveal that factors at the individual (entrepreneur), firm, and environment (home and host country) levels determine the degree of social enterprises' internationalization. Future research is challenged by: a. adopting an integrated approach examining the three levels to explain social enterprises' internationalization; b. the different nature of social enterprises from commercial businesses demands scholars to refine and develop appropriate theoretical models to capture the dynamism of social enterprises' internationalization behavior. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=determinants" title="determinants">determinants</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=entrepreneurship" title=" entrepreneurship"> entrepreneurship</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=internationalization" title=" internationalization"> internationalization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=social%20enterprises" title=" social enterprises"> social enterprises</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85160/determinants-of-internationalization-of-social-enterprises-a-20-year-review" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85160.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">216</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">203</span> Assessment of Carbon Dioxide Separation by Amine Solutions Using Electrolyte Non-Random Two-Liquid and Peng-Robinson Models: Carbon Dioxide Absorption Efficiency </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Arash%20Esmaeili">Arash Esmaeili</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhibang%20Liu"> Zhibang Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yang%20Xiang"> Yang Xiang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jimmy%20Yun"> Jimmy Yun</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lei%20Shao"> Lei Shao</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A high pressure carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption from a specific gas in a conventional column has been evaluated by the Aspen HYSYS simulator using a wide range of single absorbents and blended solutions to estimate the outlet CO2 concentration, absorption efficiency and CO2 loading to choose the most proper solution in terms of CO2 capture for environmental concerns. The first method involves the Peng-Robinson (PR) Equation of State (EoS) with the conventional mixing rule of Van der Waals. The second approach involves the PR EOS together with the Wong Sandler (WS) mixing rule, coupled with the Uniquac Ge model. In order to model the bubble point pressures with this approach, the volume and area parameter for ethyl palmitate were estimated by the Hansen group contribution method. The last method involved the Peng-Robinson, combined with the Wong-Sandler Method, but using NRTL as the GE model. Results using the Van der Waals mixing rule clearly indicated that this method has the largest errors among all three methods, with errors in the range of 3.96–6.22 %. The Pr-Ws-Uniquac method exhibited small errors, with average absolute deviations between 0.95 to 1.97 percent. The Pr-Ws-Nrtl method led to the least errors where average absolute deviations ranged between 0.65-1.7%. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bubble%20pressure" title="bubble pressure">bubble pressure</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gibbs%20excess%20energy%20model" title=" Gibbs excess energy model"> Gibbs excess energy model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=mixing%20rule" title=" mixing rule"> mixing rule</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CO2%20solubility" title=" CO2 solubility"> CO2 solubility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ethyl%20palmitate" title=" ethyl palmitate"> ethyl palmitate</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2308/bubble-point-pressures-of-co2ethyl-palmitate-by-a-cubic-equation-of-state-and-the-wong-sandler-mixing-rule" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2308.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">474</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">201</span> Simulation and Assessment of Carbon Dioxide Separation by Piperazine Blended Solutions Using E-NRTL and Peng-Robinson Models: Study of Regeneration Heat Duty</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Arash%20Esmaeili">Arash Esmaeili</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhibang%20Liu"> Zhibang Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yang%20Xiang"> Yang Xiang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jimmy%20Yun"> Jimmy Yun</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lei%20Shao"> Lei Shao</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A high-pressure carbon dioxide (CO₂) absorption from a specific off-gas in a conventional column has been evaluated for the environmental concerns by the Aspen HYSYS simulator using a wide range of single absorbents and piperazine (PZ) blended solutions to estimate the outlet CO₂ concentration, CO₂ loading, reboiler power supply, and regeneration heat duty to choose the most efficient solution in terms of CO₂ removal and required heat duty. Objective: To explore and discuss the research status, hotspots and trends of Cyberchondria. Methods: Based on a total of 77 articles regarding "Cyberchondria" extracted from Web of Science from the beginning till October 2019, the literature trends, countries, institutions, hotspots are analyzed by bibliometric analysis, the concept definition of Cyberchondria, instruments, relevant factors, treatment and intervention are discussed as well. Results: Since "Cyberchondria" was put forward for the first time in 2001, the last two decades witnessed a noticeable increase in the amount of literature, especially during 2014-2019, it quadrupled dramatically at 62 compared with that before 2014 only at 15, which shows that Cyberchondria has become a new theme and hot topic in recent years. The United States was the most active contributor with the largest publication (23), followed by England (11) and Australia (11), while the leading institutions were Baylor University(7) and University of Sydney(7), followed by Florida State University(4) and University of Manchester(4). The WoS categories "Psychiatry/Psychology " and "Computer/ Information Science "were the areas of greatest influence. The concept definition of Cyberchondria is not completely unified in the world, but it is generally considered as an abnormal behavioral pattern and emotional state and has been invoked to refer to the anxiety-amplifying effects of online health-related searches. The first and the most frequently cited scale for measuring the severity of Cyberchondria called “The Cyberchondria Severity Scale (CSS) ”was developed in 2014, which conceptualized Cyberchondria as a multidimensional construct consisting of compulsion, distress, excessiveness, reassurance, and mistrust of medical professionals which was proved to be not necessary for this construct later. Since then, the Brazilian, German, Turkish, Polish and Chinese versions were subsequently developed, improved and culturally adjusted, while CSS was optimized to a simplified version (CSS-12) in 2019, all of which should be worthy of further verification. The hotspots of Cyberchondria mainly focuses on relevant factors as follows: intolerance of uncertainty, anxiety sensitivity, obsessive-compulsive disorder, internet addition, abnormal illness behavior, Whiteley index, problematic internet use, trying to make clear the role played by “associated factors” and “anxiety-amplifying factors” in the development of Cyberchondria, to better understand the aetiological links and pathways in the relationships between hypochondriasis, health anxiety and online health-related searches. Although the treatment and intervention of Cyberchondria are still in the initial stage of exploration, there are kinds of meaningful attempts to seek effective strategies from different aspects such as online psychological treatment, network technology management, health information literacy improvement and public health service. Conclusion: Research on Cyberchondria is in its infancy but should be deserved more attention. A conceptual consensus on Cyberchondria, a refined assessment tool, prospective studies conducted in various populations, targeted treatments for it would be the main research direction in the near future. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cyberchondria" title="cyberchondria">cyberchondria</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hypochondriasis" title=" hypochondriasis"> hypochondriasis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=health%20anxiety" title=" health anxiety"> health anxiety</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=online%20health-related%20searches" title=" online health-related searches"> online health-related searches</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/117561/a-review-on-cyberchondria-based-on-bibliometric-analysis" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/117561.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">122</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">199</span> Improving Biodegradation Behavior of Fabricated WE43 Magnesium Alloy by High-Temperature Oxidation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jinge%20Liu">Jinge Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shuyuan%20Min"> Shuyuan Min</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bingchuan%20Liu"> Bingchuan Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bangzhao%20Yin"> Bangzhao Yin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bo%20Peng"> Bo Peng</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Peng%20Wen"> Peng Wen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yun%20Tian"> Yun Tian</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> WE43 magnesium alloy can be additively manufactured via laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) for biodegradable applications, but the as-built WE43 exhibits an excessively rapid corrosion rate. High-temperature oxidation (HTO) was performed on the as-built WE43 to improve its biodegradation behavior. A sandwich structure including an oxide layer at the surface, a transition layer in the middle, and the matrix was generated influenced by the oxidation reaction and diffusion of RE atoms when heated at 525 ℃for 8 hours. The oxide layer consisted of Y₂O₃ and Nd₂O₃ oxides with a thickness of 2-3 μm. The transition layer is composed of α-Mg and Y₂O₃ with a thickness of 60-70 μm, while Mg24RE5 could be observed except α-Mg and Y₂O₃. The oxide layer and transition layer appeared to have an effective passivation effect. The as-built WE43 lost 40% weight after the in vitro immersion test for three days and finally broke into debris after seven days of immersion. The high-temperature oxidation samples kept the structural integrity and lost only 6.88 % weight after 28-day immersion. The corrosion rate of HTO samples was significantly controlled, which improved the biocompatibility of the as-built WE43 at the same time. The samples after HTO had better osteogenic capability according to ALP activity. Moreover, as built WE43 performed unqualified in cell adhesion and hemolytic test due to its excessively rapid corrosion rate. While as for HTO samples, cells adhered well, and the hemolysis ratio was only 1.59%. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=laser%20powder%20bed%20fusion" title="laser powder bed fusion">laser powder bed fusion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=biodegradable%20metal" title=" biodegradable metal"> biodegradable metal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=high%20temperature%20oxidation" title=" high temperature oxidation"> high temperature oxidation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=biodegradation%20behavior" title=" biodegradation behavior"> biodegradation behavior</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=WE43" title=" WE43"> WE43</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156258/improving-biodegradation-behavior-of-fabricated-we43-magnesium-alloy-by-high-temperature-oxidation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156258.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">105</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">198</span> The Log S-fbm Nested Factor Model</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Othmane%20Zarhali">Othmane Zarhali</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=C%C3%A9cilia%20Aubrun"> Cécilia Aubrun</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Emmanuel%20Bacry"> Emmanuel Bacry</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jean-Philippe%20Bouchaud"> Jean-Philippe Bouchaud</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jean-Fran%C3%A7ois%20Muzy"> Jean-François Muzy</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The Nested factor model was introduced by Bouchaud and al., where the asset return fluctuations are explained by common factors representing the market economic sectors and residuals (noises) sharing with the factors a common dominant volatility mode in addition to the idiosyncratic mode proper to each residual. This construction infers that the factors-residuals log volatilities are correlated. Here, we consider the case of a single factor where the only dominant common mode is a S-fbm process (introduced by Peng, Bacry and Muzy) with Hurst exponent H around 0.11 and the residuals having in addition to the previous common mode idiosyncratic components with Hurst exponents H around 0. The reason for considering this configuration is twofold: preserve the Nested factor model’s characteristics introduced by Bouchaud and al. and propose a framework through which the stylized fact reported by Peng and al. is reproduced, where it has been observed that the Hurst exponents of stock indices are large as compared to those of individual stocks. In this work, we show that the Log S-fbm Nested factor model’s construction leads to a Hurst exponent of single stocks being the ones of the idiosyncratic volatility modes and the Hurst exponent of the index being the one of the common volatility modes. Furthermore, we propose a statistical procedure to estimate the Hurst factor exponent from the stock returns dynamics together with theoretical guarantees, with good results in the limit where the number of stocks N goes to infinity. Last but not least, we show that the factor can be seen as an index constructed from the single stocks weighted by specific coefficients. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hurst%20exponent" title="hurst exponent">hurst exponent</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=log%20S-fbm%20model" title=" log S-fbm model"> log S-fbm model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nested%20factor%20model" title=" nested factor model"> nested factor model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=small%20intermittency%20approximation" title=" small intermittency approximation"> small intermittency approximation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/186694/the-log-s-fbm-nested-factor-model" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/186694.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">49</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">197</span> The Empirical Analysis and Comparisons Using TAIEX Derivatives</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Pao-Peng%20Hsu">Pao-Peng Hsu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ying-Hsiu%20Chen"> Ying-Hsiu Chen</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Historical data shows that there were high correlations among TAIEX Futures, Electronic Sector Index Futures, Finance Sector Index Futures and Taiwan Top 50 ETF. The study of thermal conductivity of porous materials has great significance for the realization of low energy consumption building and economic construction building. Based on the study of effective thermal conductivity of porous materials at home and abroad, the thermal conductivity under a variety of different density of polystyrene board (EPS), plastic extruded board (XPS) and polyurethane (PU) and phenolic resin (PF) in wet state through theoretical analysis and experimental research has been studied. Initially, the moisture absorption and desorption properties of specimens had been discussed under different density, which led a result indicates the moisture absorption of four porous materials all have three stages, fast, stable and gentle. For the moisture desorption, there are two types. One is the existence of the rapid phase of the stage, such as XPS board, PU board. The other one does not have the fast desorption, instead, it is more stabilized, such as XPS board, PF board. Furthermore, the relationship between water content and thermal conductivity of porous materials had been studied and fitted, which figured out that in the wake of the increasing water content, the thermal conductivity of porous material is continually improving. At the same time, this result also shows, in different density, when the same kind of materials decreases, the saturated moisture content increases. Finally, the moisture absorption and desorption properties of the four kinds of materials are compared comprehensively, and it turned out that the heat preservation performance of PU board is the best, followed by EPS board, XPS board, PF board. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=porous%20materials" title="porous materials">porous materials</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thermal%20conductivity" title=" thermal conductivity"> thermal conductivity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=moisture%20content" title=" moisture content"> moisture content</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transient%20hot-wire%20method" title=" transient hot-wire method"> transient hot-wire method</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71053/study-on-the-thermal-conductivity-about-porous-materials-in-wet-state" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71053.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">185</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">195</span> Exergy Analysis of a Vapor Absorption Refrigeration System Using Carbon Dioxide as Refrigerant</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Samsher%20Gautam">Samsher Gautam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Apoorva%20Roy"> Apoorva Roy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bhuvan%20Aggarwal"> Bhuvan Aggarwal</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Vapor absorption refrigeration systems can replace vapor compression systems in many applications as they can operate on a low-grade heat source and are environment-friendly. Widely used refrigerants such as CFCs and HFCs cause significant global warming. Natural refrigerants can be an alternative to them, among which carbon dioxide is promising for use in automotive air conditioning systems. Its inherent safety, ability to withstand high pressure and high heat transfer coefficient coupled with easy availability make it a likely choice for refrigerant. Various properties of the ionic liquid [bmim][PF₆], such as non-toxicity, stability over a wide temperature range and ability to dissolve gases like carbon dioxide, make it a suitable absorbent for a vapor absorption refrigeration system. In this paper, an absorption chiller consisting of a generator, condenser, evaporator and absorber was studied at an operating temperature of 70⁰C. A thermodynamic model was set up using the Peng-Robinson equations of state to predict the behavior of the refrigerant and absorbent pair at different points in the system. A MATLAB code was used to obtain the values of enthalpy and entropy at selected points in the system. The exergy destruction in each component and exergetic coefficient of performance (ECOP) of the system were calculated by performing an exergy analysis based on the second law of thermodynamics. Graphs were plotted between varying operating conditions and the ECOP obtained in each case. The effect of every component on the ECOP was examined. The exergetic coefficient of performance was found to be lesser than the coefficient of performance based on the first law of thermodynamics. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=%5Bbmim%5D%5BPF%E2%82%86%5D%20as%20absorbent" title="[bmim][PF₆] as absorbent">[bmim][PF₆] as absorbent</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=carbon%20dioxide%20as%20refrigerant" title=" carbon dioxide as refrigerant"> carbon dioxide as refrigerant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=exergy%20analysis" title=" exergy analysis"> exergy analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Peng-Robinson%20equations%20of%20state" title=" Peng-Robinson equations of state"> Peng-Robinson equations of state</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vapor%20absorption%20refrigeration" title=" vapor absorption refrigeration"> vapor absorption refrigeration</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/73396/exergy-analysis-of-a-vapor-absorption-refrigeration-system-using-carbon-dioxide-as-refrigerant" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/73396.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">287</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">194</span> A Static Android Malware Detection Based on Actual Used Permissions Combination and API Calls</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiaoqing%20Wang">Xiaoqing Wang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Junfeng%20Wang"> Junfeng Wang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiaolan%20Zhu"> Xiaolan Zhu</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Android operating system has been recognized by most application developers because of its good open-source and compatibility, which enriches the categories of applications greatly. However, it has become the target of malware attackers due to the lack of strict security supervision mechanisms, which leads to the rapid growth of malware, thus bringing serious safety hazards to users. Therefore, it is critical to detect Android malware effectively. Generally, the permissions declared in the AndroidManifest.xml can reflect the function and behavior of the application to a large extent. Since current Android system has not any restrictions to the number of permissions that an application can request, developers tend to apply more than actually needed permissions in order to ensure the successful running of the application, which results in the abuse of permissions. However, some traditional detection methods only consider the requested permissions and ignore whether it is actually used, which leads to incorrect identification of some malwares. Therefore, a machine learning detection method based on the actually used permissions combination and API calls was put forward in this paper. Meanwhile, several experiments are conducted to evaluate our methodology. The result shows that it can detect unknown malware effectively with higher true positive rate and accuracy while maintaining a low false positive rate. Consequently, the AdaboostM1 (J48) classification algorithm based on information gain feature selection algorithm has the best detection result, which can achieve an accuracy of 99.8%, a true positive rate of 99.6% and a lowest false positive rate of 0. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=android" title="android">android</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=API%20Calls" title=" API Calls"> API Calls</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=machine%20learning" title=" machine learning"> machine learning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=permissions%20combination" title=" permissions combination"> permissions combination</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/51217/a-static-android-malware-detection-based-on-actual-used-permissions-combination-and-api-calls" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/51217.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">329</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">193</span> The Antitumor Activity of Eu (III) and Er (III) Complexes of 3 - (1H-Benzimidazol-2-Yl) - 6 - Methyl - 2 (1H) - Quinolinone</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xing%20Lu">Xing Lu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yi-ming%20Wu"> Yi-ming Wu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yan-hong%20Zhu"> Yan-hong Zhu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhen-feng%20Chen"> Zhen-feng Chen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hong%20Liang"> Hong Liang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yan%20Peng"> Yan Peng</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> [Eu(BMQ)2(NO3)3(CH3OH)(H2O)] (1),and [Er(BMQ)2(NO3)3(CH3OH)(H2O)] (2),were synthesized. The Cross-domain Data Sharing System(CDSS) in a net-centric environment is composed of three sub-systems. The data distribution sub-system provides data exchange service through publish-subscribe technology that supports asynchronism and multi-to-multi communication, which adapts to the needs of the dynamic and large-scale distributed computing environment. The access control sub-system adopts Attribute-Based Access Control(ABAC) technology to uniformly model various data attributes such as subject, object, permission and environment, which effectively monitors the activities of users accessing resources and ensures that legitimate users get effective access control rights within a legal time. The cross-domain access security negotiation subsystem automatically determines the access rights between different security domains in the process of interactive disclosure of digital certificates and access control policies through trust policy management and negotiation algorithms, which provides an effective means for cross-domain trust relationship establishment and access control in a distributed environment. The CDSS’s asynchronous,multi-to-multi and loosely-coupled communication features can adapt well to data exchange and sharing in dynamic, distributed and large-scale network environments. Next, we will give CDSS new features to support the mobile computing environment. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20sharing" title="data sharing">data sharing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cross-domain" title=" cross-domain"> cross-domain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20exchange" title=" data exchange"> data exchange</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=publish-subscribe" title=" publish-subscribe"> publish-subscribe</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/138191/research-and-implementation-of-cross-domain-data-sharing-system-in-net-centric-environment" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/138191.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">124</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">189</span> Preparation of Poly(Acrylic Acid) Functionalized Magnetic Graphene Oxide Composite and Its Application for Pb(II) Removal</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yu%20Wang">Yu Wang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xibang%20Chen"> Xibang Chen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Maolin%20Zhai"> Maolin Zhai</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jing%20Peng"> Jing Peng</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jiuqiang%20Li"> Jiuqiang Li</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) functionalized magnetic graphene oxide (GO) composite was synthesized through a two-step process. Additionally, modern sediment is used as an effective medium for the monitoring of lake. Organic carbon in sediment is a heterogeneous mixture with varying turnover times and qualities which result from the different biogeochemical processes in the deposition of organic material. Therefore, the isolation of different carbon pools is important for the research of lacustrine condition in the lake. However, the numeric available fractionation procedures can hardly yield homogeneous carbon pools on terms of stability and age. In this work, a multi-step fractionation protocol that treated sediment with hot water, HCl, H2O2 and Na2S2O8 in sequence was adopted, the treated sediment from each step were analyzed for the isotopic and structural compositions with Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer coupled with element analyzer (IRMS-EA) and Solid-state 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), respectively. The sequential extractions with hot-water, HCl, and H2O2 yielded a more homogeneous and C3 plant-originating OC fraction, which was characterized with an atomic C/N ratio shift from 12.0 to 20.8, and 13C and 15N isotopic signatures were 0.9‰ and 1.9‰ more depleted than the original bulk sediment, respectively. Additionally, the H2O2- resistant residue was dominated with stable components, such as the lignins, waxes, cutans, tannins, steroids and aliphatic proteins and complex carbohydrates. 6M HCl in the acid hydrolysis step was much more effective than 1M HCl to isolate a sedimentary OC fraction with higher degree of homogeneity. Owing to the extremely high removal rate of organic matter, the step of a Na2S2O8 oxidation is only suggested if the isolation of the most refractory OC pool is mandatory. We conclude that this multi-step chemical fractionation procedure is effective to isolate more homogeneous OC pools in terms of stability and functional structure, and it can be used as a promising method for OC pools fractionation of sediment or soil in future lake research. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=13C-CPMAS-NMR" title="13C-CPMAS-NMR">13C-CPMAS-NMR</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=13C%20signature" title=" 13C signature"> 13C signature</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=lake%20sediment" title=" lake sediment"> lake sediment</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=OC%20fractionation" title=" OC fractionation"> OC fractionation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/51029/organic-carbon-pools-fractionation-of-lacustrine-sediment-with-a-stepwise-chemical-procedure" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/51029.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">299</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">184</span> Boryl Radical-Promoted Dehydroxylative Alkylation of 3-Hydroxyoxindole Derivatives</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tesfaye%20Tebeka%20Simur">Tesfaye Tebeka Simur</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tian-Yu%20Peng"> Tian-Yu Peng</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yi-Feng%20Wang"> Yi-Feng Wang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiu-Wei%20Wu"> Xiu-Wei Wu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Feng-Lian%20Zhang"> Feng-Lian Zhang</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A boryl radical-promoted dehydroxylative alkylation of 3-hydroxy-oxindole derivatives is achieved. According to the analysis, the hydraulic system was optimized in order to reduce the energy consumption. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=AMESim" title="AMESim">AMESim</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=energy-saving" title=" energy-saving"> energy-saving</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=injection%20molding%20machine" title=" injection molding machine"> injection molding machine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=internal%20circulation" title=" internal circulation"> internal circulation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/35095/optimization-for-the-hydraulic-clamping-system-of-an-internal-circulation-two-platen-injection-molding-machine" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/35095.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">550</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">179</span> The Dao of Political Economy - A Holistic Perspective</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tao%20Peng">Tao Peng</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper presents a holistic model of political economy based on Daoism – the foundational philosophy of classical Chinese epistemology. Daoism is both comprehensive and subtle in its manifestations and applications in all aspects of nature and society. Based on Daoist creation theory of the universe, life theory and five element functioning theory, a holistic model in economics with minimal assumptions and independent of ideology are constructed. Under this framework, different schools of economics, such as neo-liberal, Marxism, and Austrian school, are explored and shed new light on. Economic and financial predictions can be realized in applications to Qi Men Dun Jia. This framework can provide guidelines and inspirations to economic modelling, economic policies formulation and strategy development and guide society towards a more sustainable future. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=daoism" title="daoism">daoism</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=economics" title=" economics"> economics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=holistic" title=" holistic"> holistic</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=philosophy" title=" philosophy"> philosophy</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/171001/the-dao-of-political-economy-a-holistic-perspective" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/171001.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">86</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">178</span> A Comparative Study of Corporate Cultural Values in Mergers and Acquisitions</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Renzhong%20Peng">Renzhong Peng</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Weiping%20Wu"> Weiping Wu</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Based on the framework of Hofstede’s cultural dimension, this study conducted a comparative study on the similarities and differences between national cultures and corporate cultural values, analyzed and interpreted the reasons why Chinese overseas Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) cultural integration results in the success or failure. The findings of this study indicate that in the process of M&A, the corporate cultural values from Chinese and western corporations are proved to be quite different as a result of their diversities of national cultures, and the strategies for the integration of cultural corporate values are of vital importance and can determine the effects of the M&A, which can be referential to managers who intend to have the idea of M&A and those who have cultural integration in the process of M&A. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=comparative%20study" title="comparative study">comparative study</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cultural%20integration" title=" cultural integration"> cultural integration</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=corporate%20cultural%20values" title=" corporate cultural values"> corporate cultural values</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mergers%20and%20Acquisitions" title=" Mergers and Acquisitions"> Mergers and Acquisitions</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/48542/a-comparative-study-of-corporate-cultural-values-in-mergers-and-acquisitions" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/48542.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">392</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">177</span> Research on Axial End Flux Leakage and Detent Force of Transverse Flux PM Linear Machine</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=W.%20R.%20Li">W.
