Bottorff, PhD, RN, FCAHS, FAAN,聽Co-Principal Investigator</h4> <p>Dr. Joan Bottorff is a Professor in the School of Nursing, and Director of the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention at UBC鈥檚 Okanagan Campus. She has served as the first Dean of UBC Okanagan鈥檚聽<a title="Link to UBCO Faculty of Health and Social Development" href="http://web.ubc.ca/okanagan/hsd/welcome.html" target="_blank">Faculty of Health and Social Development</a>聽and is named Chair in Cancer Prevention and Health Promotion. Her research includes health promotion and health behaviour change in the contexts of gender, cancer control, and genetic testing. Since the inception of FACET in 2002, she has led studies focused on understanding the social context of women鈥檚 smoking with a specific focus on intimate relationships.</p> <p><img class="size-full wp-image-126 alignleft" alt="john" src="https://facet.ubc.ca/wp-content/uploads/john-oliffe.jpg" width="100" height="125" /></p> <h4>John Oliffe, PhD, RN, MEd, Grad Cert Pediatrics,聽Co-Principal Investigator</h4> <p>Dr. John Oliffe is a Professor in the聽<a href="http://www.nursing.ubc.ca/Faculty/biopage.aspx?c=73.109506905737" target="_blank"> School of Nursing</a>, at UBC鈥檚 Vancouver Campus. He holds a聽<a href="http://www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca/e/193.html" target="_blank">CIHR</a>聽new investigator award and a聽<a href="http://www.msfhr.org/" target="_blank">Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research</a> scholar award. His program of research is in masculinities and聽<a href="http://www.menshealthresearch.ubc.ca/" target="_blank">men鈥檚 health</a>.
