If so, will my information and interviews still exist?</p> <div class="answer">No, you will have to restart the sign up process.</div> <p class="question">How do I update my profile/upload videos?</p> <div class="answer">Once you're on your profile homepage, you'll see various tabs across the top including About Me, Videos, and more. On each tab, you'll see an "Edit" or "Upload" button. Click on these, and they'll bring you to a screen where you can add info about yourself or upload videos. After you've finished, be sure to click the “Save” button before going on to the next page or tab.</div> <p class="question">How can I personalize my profile page?</p> <div class="answer">While we don't offer customizable themes or background colors, you can upload a profile picture as well as relevant videos.</div> </div> <div class="faq-section"> <h3>Interviewing</h3> <p class="question">Is there a limit to the number of stories I can tell?</p> <div class="answer">You can only submit one story per user profile, but feel free to email us at <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20150223160344/mailto:submissions@sportinamerica.com">submissions@sportinamerica.com</a> if you have another story to submit. Alternatively you can create a new user profile to submit another story on our website. </div> <p class="question">How do I tell my story?</p> <div class="answer">Click the “Tell Your Story" button, and either download our interview tool or manually upload your interview. Then, click the "Tell Your Story" button to launch the interview questions. Make sure your webcam is set up, follow the prompts, talk to the camera, and you're good to go.</div> <p class="question">How do I upload my story without using a webcam?</p> <div class="answer">When you begin the interview process, you'll see an option to upload pre-recorded videos. Select that option, and upload an individual video for each question. </div> <p class="question">Why aren't my interviews appearing on the front page under "New Interviews"?</p> <div class="answer">While we cannot display every video on the homepage, be assured that the producers have seen every video submitted.</div> <p class="question">How will I know my story has been submitted?</p> <div class="answer">Once you complete your interview, you’ll be taken to a "Terms and Conditions" page. You must agree to and accept the terms before your interview can be submitted. Upon accepting the terms, you’ll be brought to a confirmation page that lets you know your interview has been submitted. You’ll also receive an email through our internal messaging system verifying that your interview has been submitted, and the status of your interview will change to "submitted."</div> <p class="question">I submitted my story by accident. Can I remove it?</p> <div class="answer">Yes, you can remove it. Please contact <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20150223160344/mailto:submissions@sportinamerica.com">submissions@sportinamerica.com</a>.</div> <p class="question">How will I know if my video has been reviewed by a producer?</p> <div class="answer">Our system can't alert you when your interview has been reviewed, but if you’ve been selected for a callback, you’ll be contacted directly by a producer.</div> </div> <div class="faq-section"> <h3>Technical Issues</h3> <p class="question">What kind of webcam do I need to buy in order to interview?</p> <div class="answer">Our webcam software will work with any webcam model. </div> <p class="question">I don't own a webcam. How can I interview?</p> <div class="answer">When you begin the interview process, select the option that allows you to upload pre-recorded videos.</div> <p class="question">What if my computer can’t download the software?</p> <div class="answer">Our webcam software is supported by Windows XP, Windows Vista and and Mac OSX 1.5 and above. While the webcam software might not be supported on older versions, you always have the option to answer interview questions by uploading videos. However, if you’re having trouble downloading the webcam software, please visit our "Help" page.</div> <p class="question">How do I uninstall your software from my computer?</p> <div class="answer">Go to your computer's Control Panel, click in the "Uninstall" section, select the Personif webcam software.</div> <p class="question">Can I log in and interview from another computer?</p> <div class="answer">Yes. As long as you download the webcam software onto the other computer, you can login to your account and interview.</div> <p class="question">Can I get notifications at an external email address?</p> <div class="answer">Yes. Open your profile and select the option that allows you to manage contact details. There, you can select the way you prefer to be contacted as well as forwarding options.</div> <p class="question">How do I unsubscribe from notification emails/texts?</p> <div class="answer">You can unsubscribe from your Account page. If you have designated it as a private story, only the producers will be able to view your story.
