They are enthusiastic, experienced users of Mendeley, and use their expertise and passion to promote good reference management skills by hosting introductory sessions, trainings, and facilitating one-on-one outreach. </p> <h2>What are the responsibilities of an Advisor?</h2> <p> Most Advisors offer Mendeley training in their local setting or institution, sharing Mendeley’s features with colleagues or students. Advisors can run as many events as they want. We provide Mendeley-branded teaching materials and guides, but also encourage Advisors to be as creative as they like in sharing Mendeley know-how. Advisors are also known to partner with other Advisors in their area to create a local network!<br> Active Advisors are expected to maintain their knowledge of how to use Mendeley and stay up-to-date on Mendeley developments.
