M. Keck Optical Measurement Lab <br/>JILA Micro and Nanofabrication Facility</div> <div class="content"> The W. M. Keck Optical Measurement Laboratory manages both the Optical Metrology Lab and JILA's Micro and Nanofabrication Facility. The Keck Lab was designed to support research at JILA, but under certain conditions the facility is also available to other University of Colorado researchers and local industry. A set of policies has been set up to help maintain the Keck Lab as a useful facility for its user community. <br/> <br/> <br/> <div class="indeximage"><img src="/web/20150316143630im_/http://jila-kecklab.colorado.edu/images/labintro.jpg" width="718" height="200" style="border-top: 1px #000 solid; border-bottom: 1px #000 solid"/></div> <br/> <br/> The Keck Lab is a central facility currently at JILA. JILA is a multidisciplinary institute operated jointly by the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20150316143630/http://www.colorado.edu/"> University of Colorado at Boulder</a> and the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20150316143630/http://www.nist.gov/">National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)</a>. JILA researchers have produced innovative developments in lasers and optical science and use laser technology in fundamental research in physics and chemistry. For more information, visit the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20150316143630/http://jila.colorado.edu/">JILA homepage</a>. <br/> <br/> <div class="pod"> <span class="podheading"><a href="metrology.html">Metrology Lab</a></span> <br/> <br/> The <a href="metrology.html">optical metrology lab</a> is a 581 square-foot facility that houses JILA's shared optical measurement instruments located in JILA S105. </div> <div class="podm"> <span class="podheading"><a href="users.html">Reservation</a></span> <br/> <br/> To assure availability of an instrument, reserving the item is recommended. Reservations can be made through the <a href="users.html"> User's section</a>. JILA users have first priority, CU/NIST users second, and Non-CU clients third. All bookings are locked in for a 24 hour period before usage. <br/> </div> <div class="pod"> <a name="jila"></a> <span class="podheading"><a href="fabrication.html">Fabrication Lab</a></span> <br/> <br/> The <a href="fabrication.html">fabrication facility</a> is a 1650 square-foot suite of Class 1000 (ISO 6) and Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom bays on the first floor of JILA's new X-wing.
