days away from an announcement of a reunion of the classic <b>GN'R</b> lineup.</p> <p/>Rumors about <b>GUNS</b>' return have been heating up ever since the summer, when guitarist <b>Slash</b> revealed that he and singer <b>Axl Rose</b> had repaired their relationship after nearly 20 years of estrangement.</p> <p/>One of the first shows that the reunited <b>GUNS N' ROSES</b> is rumored to be playing is next year's <b>Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival</b>, which takes places annually in April in Indio, California. </p> <p/>The official lineup announcement for the 2016 edition of <b>Coachella</b> will be made on or around January 5.</p> <p/><b>Rose</b> was the only original member of <b>GUNS N' ROSES</b> in the band's most recent lineup, which toured intermittently since 2006 and played its second Las Vegas residency last year.</p> <p/>Drummer <b>Steven Adler</b> was fired from <b>GUNS N' ROSES</b> in 1990 for his rampant drug use and replaced by <b>Matt Sorum</b>. Fans have wondered whether both drummers would be brought back for a reunion tour.</p> <p/><b>Sorum</b> told <b>The Pulse Of Radio</b> a while back that if the band reunites, he and <b>Adler</b> should both be there. "If it's me on drums or <b>Steven</b> or whatever, if it happened, it'd be great, you know," he said. "I would actually say to them, 'Hey, bring both of us back,' you know. Let me play the other stuff. We'll have two drum kits. I don't care. If <b>'Appetite'</b> [<b>'For Destruction'</b>, the band's debut] sounds better with <b>Steven</b> playing it, have both guys up there. They can afford it."</p> <p/>The closest anyone came to a <b>GUNS</b> reunion in recent memory was when the band was inducted into the <b>Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame</b> in 2012.
