Wie der Klub am Freitag mitteilte, sind Hacker in das IT-System eingedrungen und haben die internen Sicherheitssysteme angegriffen. „Das Verbrechen führte zum Diebstahl von Unternehmensdaten, die möglicherweise online erscheinen“, schrieb der Achte der Serie A. Schadprogramm, die den Zugriff auf Daten und Systeme einschränkt, vollzogen worden. Üblicherweise werden die Opfer eines solchen Angriffs dann erpresst. Wird kein Lösegeld gezahlt, werden die geklauten Daten veröffentlicht.</p><p data-manual="paragraph" class="css-1caxn6j">Italienischen Medienberichten zufolge taten die Hacker dies auch beim Angriff auf den FC Bologna.
