When using the audio and video function, the images recorded by your video camera and your audio data will be passed through the provider’s servers and will be processed for conducting the conference. You may disable your camera and microphone during a conference at any time using the settings of your computer. The video conference services enable the recording of conferences. In principle, the ZBW will not record any conferences. If the ZBW should deviate from this in individual cases, you will be informed of this comprehensively prior to the recording and, if required, we will request your consent.</p><p>The legal basis for the processing of the personal data in the scope of video conferences shall be Article 6 (1) (e) of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 2 of the Foundation Formation Statute of the ZBW. The ZBW will process personal data of employees in accordance with Section 15, subsection 1 of the data protection law of the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein.
