The wisdom and the prosperity greatly excels the report that I heard. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>Blessed are your wives; blessed are your Servants, these who stand before you constantly and are hearing your wisdom. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>May LORD JEHOVAH your God be blessed who delighted in you and seated you on the throne of Israel! Because LORD JEHOVAH loved Israel for eternity, he made you King that you will perform judgment and righteousness!” <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>And she gave to King Solomon a hundred and twenty talents of gold and a great abundance of sweet spices and precious stones, and there never came again sweet spices like those that the Queen of Sheba gave King Solomon.<p> <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>Also the ships of Khiram carried gold from Uphir, and they brought from Uphir very many trees of sandal wood, and precious stones. <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>And King Solomon made trees of sandalwood decorations for the house of LORD JEHOVAH and the house of the King, and harps and lyres for Singers. There never came any like those trees of sandalwood, and had not been seen until today.<p> <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And King Solomon gave to the Queen of Sheba everything that she pleased and she asked, apart from what he gave her according to the hand of the King, and she returned and she went to her land, she and her Servants.<p> <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>And the weight of gold that was coming to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty and six talents of gold. <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>Apart from the men, Craftsmen and Merchants who trade, and all the Kings of the Arabians and Rulers of the Earth. <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>And King Solomon made two hundred shields of refined gold, and six hundred minas of gold covered one shield <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>And three hundred round shields of refined gold. And three hundred minas of gold covered one round shield, and the King put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon. <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>And the King made a great throne of ivory and overlaid it in gold from Uphir. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>And he made for the throne six steps and the top of the throne was round from behind it, and the arms on either side at the place of the seat, and two lions stood on either side. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>And twelve lions stood on the side of six steps on either side; there was nothing made in this way among all kingdoms. <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>And all the vessels of the service of King Solomon were of gold, and all the implements of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of refined gold, and silver was considered nothing in the days of Solomon. <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/10-22.htm#aramaic"><b>22</b></a></span>Because the King had the ships of Tarshish in the sea with the ships of Khiram.
