I think every LGBTQIA citizen needs to as well, because we aren't safe in a state that doesn't support our equality. The Queer community needs a way to protect ourselves from the onslaught of a tyrannical, heteronormative legislature. I mean, a government that dictates how a person can live their life is terrifying. Especially the citizens that elect those seated in that government.
