متعلق کھل کر بات کر رہی ہیں۔</p><p class="">اب جب خواتین کو جنسی طورپر ہراساں کرنے کا معاملہ ایوارڈز تقریبات میں بھی اٹھایا جانے لگا ہے، تب یہ رپورٹ سامنےآئی ہے کہ گزشتہ ایک سال میں ریلیز ہونے والی اہم ہولی وڈ فلموں میں خواتین کے مرکزی کردار گزشتہ برس کے مقابلے 5 فیصد کم تھے۔</p><p class="">سان ڈیاگو میں قائم <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20180224181320/https://womenintvfilm.sdsu.edu/"><strong>’دی سینٹر فار دی اسٹڈی آف ویمن ان ٹیلی وژن اینڈ فلم‘</strong></a> کی تازہ تحقیق کے مطابق 2016 میں ہولی وڈ فلموں خواتین کے مرکزی کردار 29 فیصد تھے، جو 2017 کم ہوکر 24 فیصد رہ گئے۔</p><p class="">اگرچہ 2017 میں ’اسٹار وارز، بیوٹی اینڈ دی بیسٹ، وار آف سیکسزم اور ونڈر ویل‘ جیسی خواتین کے اہم کرداروں پر مبنی فلمیں ریلیز ہوئی، تاہم پھر بھی مجموعی طور سب سے زیادہ مقبول فلموں میں خواتین کے مرکزی کردار ماضی کے مقابلے کم تھے۔</p><p class="">رپورٹ کے مطابق 2017 میں ریلیز ہونے والی 32 فیصد اہم اور کامیاب فلموں میں صرف 10 خواتین کے کردار شامل رہے، جب کہ 79 فیصد فلموں میں مردوں کے اتنے ہی کردار دیکھنے میں آئے۔</p><p class="">رپورٹ سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ 2017 فلموں میں کام کرنے والی خواتین کے لیے دیگر حوالوں سے بہتر رہا، اور کچھ خطوں کی خواتین کے کرداروں میں اضافہ بھی ہوا۔</p><p class="">اعداد و شمار کے مطابق 2017 میں سیاہ فام خواتین کے 14 فیصد سے بڑھ 16 فیصد، لاطینی امریکی خواتین کے کردار 3 سے بڑھ کر 7 فیصد ہوگئے۔</p><p class="">اسی طرح ایشیائی نژاد خواتین کے کردار بھی 6 فیصد سے بڑھ 7 فیصد تک پہنچ گئے، تاہم مجموعی طور پر خواتین کے کرداروں میں 5 فیصد کمی دیکھی گئی۔</p><p class="">رپورٹ میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ تحقیق کے لیے باکس آفس پر سپر ہٹ ثابت ہونے والی 100 فلموں کے 2 ہزار 361 کرداروں کا تجزیہ کیا گیا، جس سے پتہ چلا کہ 2017 میں مرد کردار فلموں میں زیادہ نظر آئے۔</p><p class="">خیال رہے کہ یہ ادارہ
