<p>最近のMVNO関連の盛り上がり方は凄いことになっていますが、手広く様々な事業を展開するDMMも目をつけて参入してくるようです。</p> <p>若干新規参入のニュースが飽和気味で個人的に飽きてきだしたところだったのですが、今回の「DMM mobile」についてはそのMVNE元や料金プランの豊富さで期待させる内容にはなっています。<br /> 格安SIMや格安スマホセット、開始当初のキャンペーンなどスタートダッシュの用意も手堅いため、結構本気で活動してくるかもしれません。<br /> というわけで今回はこの「DMM mobile」の契約内容についての詳細を紹介したいとおもいます。</p> <p> </p> <h2>回線元はIIJmioか</h2> <p>まずこの「DMM mobile」についてはサービスインしたばかりのサービスということで、どの程度の実力になるのかというのがわかりません。<br /> ただその一つの参考になりそうな指標が既に出ており、これを見る限りはまだ実際には使ってはいないものの、期待は出来るSIMになるのではないかとおもいます。</p> <p>というのも「DMM mobile」は<strong>接続APNの一部に「vmobile.jp」</strong>というアクセスポイント名が使われているのが確認できます。</p> <p>このAPN名は「IIJmio」がMVNE元となって使われている卸回線の一つです。<br /> 参照：<a mobile」は独自にdocomoからサービス卸をしているのではなく、「IIJmio」からdocomo回線を卸してもらっている、という判断が出来るでしょう。<br /> 「IIJmio」はMVNOの中でも評判のすこぶる高いMVNO事業者です。意識の低いMVNOだと回線速度にバラつきが頻繁に起きたり、パケ詰まりが発生してしまうという「回線品質」の低い回線を提供していますが、「IIJmio」は真面目にMVNO事業に取り組み（表現として微妙な例えですが）こうした「回線品質」を高いレベルで維持しています。<br /> exciteが用意しているプランの中では最安です。</p> <p>またシェアコースがIIJもhi-hoも7GB/3枚という同一のシェアプランしか用意していなかったのですが、DMM mobileはそこで競合すること無く、8GB、10GBという「もっと容量が欲しい」利用者へ向けた大容量シェアコースを用意しました。<br /> 8GBプランはIIJの7GBよりも220円追加で契約でき、10GBはそこに更に900円追加で契約できます。<br /> その他の単体での契約も、IIJの2GB、4GB、7GBという穴を埋めるようにしてデータ容量を分けています。</p> <p> </p> <h3>バースト転送他IIJの機能が利用可能</h3> <p>IIJの強みとして大きい要素は「<strong>バースト転送</strong>」の存在でしょう。<br /> 「バースト転送」とは200kbpsという低速回線状態で利用する際に、データ接続が始まった最初の数秒間だけは200kbpsの規制速度ではなく、ベストエフォート150Mbpsの高速通信での通信接続が出来るという機能です。<br /> この<strong>最初の数秒間の間に大体のデータを読み込むことで、このバースト転送が終了して200kbpsの規制速度で通信が開始されても、待たされること無くコンテンツの序盤部分を楽しむことが出来ます。</strong><br /> Webサイトだったら大体のテキストや一部の画像がこの時点で表示されるため、残りの読み込みきれなかった画像などが200kbpsでゆっくりとダウンロードされる形になります。テキストを読むだけだったらこのバースト転送のお陰で速度規制を感じないレベルかとおもわれます。<br /> またIIJによるとこのバースト転送による一時的な高速通信は、ストリーミング通信系のコンテンツ（radikoやツイキャス）では一定間隔ごとに行われるということで、バッファが途切れずに視聴することが可能、と報告しています。</p>
