It’ll be a nice game to watch,” Sabilla said. “It’s the same day as the Flyers and Penguins game. It’s going to be rough; it’s going to be fun; it’s going to be everything.”<br/> <br/> The victory against Team Illinois (4-1) was certainly exciting for Team Pittsburgh. Team Illinois entered as the tournament favorite.<br/> <br/> “It was a lot of fun beating those guys. Going in, we knew they were the No. 1 seed, so it was great to knock them off,” said Team Pittsburgh’s Nick Schultz, who had a goal. “We were getting back to our game. We were getting a lot of shots on the net and looking for rebounds and dirty goals. I can’t wait (for Sunday); it’s going to be a blast.”<br/> <br/> Chris Coyne’s high shot got Team Illinois on the scoreboard 6:25 into the game.<br/> <br/> However, Team Pittsburgh retaliated with Zach Schindler’s goal 1:15 later.<br/> <br/> Schultz jammed in a rebound with 5:22 remaining in the period to give Team Pittsburgh a 2-1 advantage.<br/> <br/> Nick Ricossa tied the game at 2-all for Team Illinois with 49 seconds left on the clock.<br/> <br/> Team Pittsburgh took control in the second period. Sabilla’s blast from the right point sailed into the goal 1:07 into the period.<br/> <br/> Conlan Sodrosky gave Team Pittsburgh a 4-2 advantage with 5:08 left in the second.<br/> <br/> Sabilla was credited with his second goal of the game on Patrick Coburn’s assist on the power play 4:31 into the final period.<br/> <br/> Team Illinois had a two-man advantage late in the game and pulled the goaltender to make it a 6-on-3 attack. It paid off with one goal as Coyne cashed in again in the final minute. However, goaltender Jason Kumpfmiller and Team Pittsburgh held on for the win.<br/> <br/> “It was a very interesting game. It actually felt like playing for West (Allegheny), honestly. Probably the last three or four games, I had about a 5-on-3 with about 3 minutes to go. So, it felt exactly like that, but I like it. It keeps my game level going,” Kumpfmiller said. “We answered every goal and finally pulled into the lead. It was a real good feeling to finally have a lead, so I could calm down and play my game just like they could play theirs.”<br/> <br/> Team Pittsburgh’s intensified its defensive play in front of Kumpfmiller.<br/> <br/> “We stressed before the game that the backcheckers had to pick up the right guys coming back and we really shut them down on the odd-man rushes,” Schultz said. “The backcheck really helped.”<br/> <br/> Also, Team Pittsburgh got some offensive output from players other than its first line of A.J. Coleman, Sabilla and Coburn.
