If accepted for review, such papers will be peer-reviewed in English (or occasionally in the original language). In the event of acceptance we will seek to publish the paper in an English translation in the print + online version of the journal, and in the original language in the online only version of journal. The aim is to make such research that would be of interest to Africa’s readership accessible in English. Article submissions are welcome from both established and younger scholars. Submissions must not be previously published, in English or any other language. The IAI has limited funds for the translation of one or two articles per year. Once a paper has been accepted, we can also consider drawing on other research or institutional funds that may be available to the author.

Special issue submissions
Africa welcomes proposals for special issues of the journal. Special issues include eight or nine papers plus an Introduction from the guest editor(s).

Conselho editorial

Co-Editores

Julie Archambault, Universidade Concordia, Canadá
africa(at)internationalafricaninstitute.org

Asonzeh Ukah, Universidade da Cidade do Cabo, África do Sul
africa(at)internationalafricaninstitute.org

Editores Encarregados das Revisões

Keren Weitzberg - Editor de Críticas, ÁFRICA
Queen Mary University, Londres, Reino Unido
bookreviews@internationalafricaninstitute.org

Editor local Intellectuals

Karin Barber, Universidade de Birmingham, Reino Unido
localintellectuals(at)internationalafricaninstitute.org

Conselho Consultivo Editorial

Wale Adebanwi, Universidade de Oxford, Reino Unido
Kojo Amanor, Universidade do Gana, Gana
Leslie Bank, Conselho de Investigação em Ciências Humanas, África do Sul
Erik Bähre, Universidade de Leiden, Países Baixos
Thomas J.
