Recently, there are remarkable studies of operators that preserve frames on some spaces, and this research could be considered as an extension of such studies. Indeed, this paper is to we characterize weighted composition operators that preserve frames in weighted Hardy spaces on the open unit disk. Moreover, it shows that this characterization does not apply to generalized weighted composition operators on such spaces. Nevertheless, this study could be extended to provide more specific characterizations. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=frames" title="frames">frames</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=generalized%20weighted%20composition%20operators" title=" generalized weighted composition operators"> generalized weighted composition operators</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=weighted%20Hardy%20spaces" title=" weighted Hardy spaces"> weighted Hardy spaces</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=analytic%20functions" title=" analytic functions"> analytic functions</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156372/notes-on-frames-in-weighted-hardy-spaces-and-generalized-weighted-composition-operators" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156372.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">121</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">50</span> Some Specialized Prosaic Arts of the Ancient Arabic Literature; An Introductory Analysis</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Ul%20Hussain%20Zaheer">Shams Ul Hussain Zaheer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bakht%20Rahman"> Bakht Rahman</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shehla%20Shams"> Shehla Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bibi%20Alia"> Bibi Alia</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Arabic literature, from the very past, is divided into two basic parts: prose and poetry. It will not be wrong if it is said that this division of literature is found even in the era of ignorance (before-Islam). In this period, prose was given a kind of ignorance while poetry was given much significance since people showed deeper interest in its melodious impact while listening and singing as compared to prose writing. Because poetry was directly appealing to the emotions of the people, it was celebrated as universal genre and prose remained in a subordinate position due to its diction. Despite this attitude towards the genre of prose, some of the prosaic arts were orally transmitted from one generation to another during the era of ignorance. Later on, in the Omayyad and Abbasside periods, when literature was properly classified, this art was given its proper placement in the history. In this connection, there are three important aspects of this genre i.e. will, tales, and sacerdotal words. This paper traces the historical background of these categories and how they contributed to the modern understanding of literature in terms of its diction, themes, and kinds of prose writing. This is a descriptive and qualitative research which will add insight into the role these terms can play in understanding the thinking and inclination of people in the days of ignorance. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Arabic%20literature" title="Arabic literature">Arabic literature</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=era%20of%20ignorance" title=" era of ignorance"> era of ignorance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=prose" title=" prose"> prose</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=special%20arts" title=" special arts"> special arts</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=analysis" title=" analysis"> analysis</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/160014/some-specialized-prosaic-arts-of-the-ancient-arabic-literature-an-introductory-analysis" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/160014.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">92</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">49</span> Intellectual Telepathy between Arabs and Pashtuns; Study of Their Proverbs as a Model</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Ul%20Hussain%20Zaheer">Shams Ul Hussain Zaheer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bibi%20Alia"> Bibi Alia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shehla%20Shams"> Shehla Shams</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> With the creation of human beings, almost all of them are blessed with the award of the power of expression, and this series starts from the life of Adam (A.S) in Paradise when he was blesses with language and knowledge and given priority upon the Angels. Later on, when the population spread and many other languages came into being, the method of the different people of different regions remained various. And when the Arabic was formed as a language after Ismail (A.S) and his sons spread in the gulf area, the words adopted from other gulf languages also became a part of this new language with it immense. Beside this, the tone of expression in other areas of the word was different, but the incidents, norms of bad and good, parameters for like and dislike, thinking styles, and rules of good and bad governance with social values remained round about the same. People practiced their lives according to the set norms everywhere in the world. Especially the two built, i.e., Hijaz and Khurasan, wherein Arabs and Pashtun accordingly were dwelling; it seems that their social values were much closed to each other. These norms reflect in various kinds of literature of both of the nations, but this article deals in with their proverbs specifically. This article discusses the intellectual telepathic between them in a research way. And put the defined similarities and dissimilarities between both in the proverb. And it also draws a sketch in front of readers that how the thinking and expression styles remains same in humans. As it belongs to a comparative analysis of the proverbs so, the same methodology has been adopted in the articles. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=intellectual%20telepathy" title="intellectual telepathy">intellectual telepathy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hijaz" title=" hijaz"> hijaz</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=arab" title=" arab"> arab</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=khurasan" title=" khurasan"> khurasan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pashtun" title=" pashtun"> pashtun</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=proverbs" title=" proverbs"> proverbs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=comparison" title=" comparison"> comparison</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159575/intellectual-telepathy-between-arabs-and-pashtuns-study-of-their-proverbs-as-a-model" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159575.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">89</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">48</span> Modeling Intention to Use 3PL Services: An Application of the Theory of Planned Behavior</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nasrin%20Akter">Nasrin Akter</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Prem%20Chhetri"> Prem Chhetri</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Rahman"> Shams Rahman</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The present study tested Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model to explain the formation of business customers’ intention to use 3PL services in Bangladesh. The findings show that the TPB model has a good fit to the data. Based on theoretical support and suggested modification indices, a refined TPB model was developed afterwards which provides a better predictive power for intention. Consistent with the theory, the results of a structural equation analysis revealed that the intention to use 3PL services is predicted by attitude and subjective norms but not by perceived behavioral control. Further investigation indicated that the paths between (attitude and intention) and (subjective norms and intention) did not statistically differ between 3PL user and non-user. Findings of this research provide an evidence base to formulate business strategies to increase the use of 3PL services in Bangladesh to enhance productivity and to gain economic efficiency. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bangladesh" title="Bangladesh">Bangladesh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=intention" title=" intention"> intention</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=third-party%20logistics" title=" third-party logistics"> third-party logistics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Theory%20of%20Planned%20Behavior" title=" Theory of Planned Behavior"> Theory of Planned Behavior</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/16097/modeling-intention-to-use-3pl-services-an-application-of-the-theory-of-planned-behavior" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/16097.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">581</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">47</span> Ultra-Low Chromatic Dispersion, Low Confinement Loss, and Low Nonlinear Effects Index-Guiding Photonic Crystal Fiber </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=S.%20Olyaee">S. Also, we extend this approach to dynamic selection affine projection algorithm (DS-APA) and ATC-DS-APA and CTA-DS-APA are established. The purpose of ATC-SPU-NLMS and CTA-SPU-NLMS algorithm is to reduce the computational complexity by updating the selected blocks of weight coefficients at every iteration. In CTA-DS-APA and ATC-DS-APA, the number of the input vectors is selected dynamically. Diffusion cooperation strategies have been shown to provide good performance based on these algorithms. The good performance of introduced algorithm is illustrated with various experimental results. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=selective%20partial%20update" title="selective partial update">selective partial update</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=affine%20projection" title=" affine projection"> affine projection</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dynamic%20selection" title=" dynamic selection"> dynamic selection</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=diffusion" title=" diffusion"> diffusion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=adaptive%20distributed%20networks" title=" adaptive distributed networks"> adaptive distributed networks</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/20231/diffusion-adaptation-strategies-for-distributed-estimation-based-on-the-family-of-affine-projection-algorithms" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/20231.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">707</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">44</span> A New Sign Subband Adaptive Filter Based on Dynamic Selection of Subbands</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammad%20Shams%20Esfand%20Abadi">Mohammad Shams Esfand Abadi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mehrdad%20Zalaghi"> Mehrdad Zalaghi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Reza%20ebrahimpour"> Reza ebrahimpour</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, we propose a sign adaptive filter algorithm with the ability of dynamic selection of subband filters which leads to low computational complexity compared with conventional sign subband adaptive filter (SSAF) algorithm. Dynamic selection criterion is based on largest reduction of the mean square deviation at each adaption. We demonstrate that this simple proposed algorithm has the same performance of the conventional SSAF and somewhat faster than it. In the presence of impulsive interferences robustness of the simple proposed algorithm as well as the conventional SSAF and outperform the conventional normalized subband adaptive filter (NSAF) algorithm. Therefore, it is preferred for environments under impulsive interferences. Simulation results are presented to verify these above considerations very well have been achieved. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=acoustic%20echo%20cancellation%20%28AEC%29" title="acoustic echo cancellation (AEC)">acoustic echo cancellation (AEC)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=normalized%20subband%20adaptive%20filter%20%28NSAF%29" title=" normalized subband adaptive filter (NSAF)"> normalized subband adaptive filter (NSAF)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dynamic%20selection%20subband%20adaptive%20filter%20%28DS-NSAF%29" title=" dynamic selection subband adaptive filter (DS-NSAF)"> dynamic selection subband adaptive filter (DS-NSAF)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sign%20subband%20adaptive%20filter%20%28SSAF%29" title=" sign subband adaptive filter (SSAF)"> sign subband adaptive filter (SSAF)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=impulsive%20noise" title=" impulsive noise"> impulsive noise</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=robust%20filtering" title=" robust filtering"> robust filtering</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/20230/a-new-sign-subband-adaptive-filter-based-on-dynamic-selection-of-subbands" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/20230.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">599</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">43</span> Comparative Study Between Continuous Versus Pulsed Ultrasound in Knee Osteoarthritis</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Karim%20Mohamed%20Fawzy%20Ghuiba">Karim Mohamed Fawzy Ghuiba</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Alaa%20Aldeen%20Abd%20Al%20Hakeem%20Balbaa"> Alaa Aldeen Abd Al Hakeem Balbaa</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Elbaz"> Shams Elbaz</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Objectives: To compare between the effects continuous and pulsed ultrasound on pain and function in patient with knee osteoarthritis. This literature review aims to highlight the ocular complications of monkeypox, SARS-CoV-2, MERS, ebola, H1N1, and zika viruses as the most recent viral pandemics. Since the emergence of the newly resurfacing monkeypox and the novel SARS-CoV-2, research aiming to uncover the effects of these pandemics began right away. Moreover, it also discusses the ocular complications of the vaccines and treatments that were used in the scope of the viral pandemics. To add, this work discussed the role of the eye as an important route of viral transmission, and thereafter, the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) recommendations to reduce the incidence of viral transmission were mentioned. Finally, this paper aims to outline a platform for researchers who are interested in further investigating eye-related viral manifestations. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ophthalmology" title="ophthalmology">ophthalmology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=monkeypox" title=" monkeypox"> monkeypox</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ebola" title=" ebola"> ebola</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=zika" title=" zika"> zika</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MERS" title=" MERS"> MERS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=H1N1" title=" H1N1"> H1N1</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=influenza" title=" influenza"> influenza</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=COVID-19" title=" COVID-19"> COVID-19</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/158629/ocular-manifestations-of-recent-viral-pandemics-a-literature-review" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/158629.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">127</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">41</span> Utilization of Waste Marble Dust as a Viscosity Modifying Agent in Self Compacting Concrete</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Ul%20Khaliq">Shams Ul Khaliq</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mushtaq%20Zeb"> Mushtaq Zeb</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fawad%20Bilal"> Fawad Bilal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Faizan%20Akbar"> Faizan Akbar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Aamir%20Abbas"> Syed Aamir Abbas</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Self Compacting Concrete as the name implies--is the concrete requiring a very little or no vibration to fill the form homogeneously. Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) is defined by two primary properties: Ability to flow or deform under its own weight (with or without obstructions) and the ability to remain homogeneous while doing so. Flow ability is achieved by utilizing high range water reducing admixtures and segregation resistance is ensured by introducing a chemical viscosity modifying admixture (VMA) or increasing the amount of fines in the concrete. The study explores the use waste marble dust (WMD) to increase the amount of fines and hence achieve self-compatibility in an economical way, suitable for Pakistani construction industry. The study focuses on comparison of fresh properties of SCC containing varying amounts of waste marble dust (WMD) with that containing commercially available viscosity modifying admixture. The comparison is done at different dosages of super plasticizer keeping cement, water, coarse aggregate, and fine aggregate contents constant. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=self%20compacting%20concrete" title="self compacting concrete">self compacting concrete</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=waste%20marble%20dust%20%28WMD%29" title=" waste marble dust (WMD)"> waste marble dust (WMD)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=flow%20ability" title=" flow ability"> flow ability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=segregation%20resistance" title=" segregation resistance"> segregation resistance</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49785/utilization-of-waste-marble-dust-as-a-viscosity-modifying-agent-in-self-compacting-concrete" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49785.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">327</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">40</span> Hypoxia Tolerance, Longevity and Cancer-Resistance in the Mole Rat Spalax – a Liver Transcriptomics Approach</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hanno%20Schmidt">Hanno Schmidt</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Assaf%20Malik"> Assaf Malik</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Anne%20Bicker"> Anne Bicker</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gesa%20Poetzsch"> Gesa Poetzsch</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Aaron%20Avivi"> Aaron Avivi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Imad%20Shams"> Imad Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Thomas%20Hankeln"> Thomas Hankeln</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The blind subterranean mole rat Spalax shows a remarkable tolerance to hypoxia, cancer-resistance and longevity. Unravelling the genomic basis of these adaptations will be important for biomedical applications. RNA-Seq gene expression data were obtained from normoxic and hypoxic Spalax and rat liver tissue. Hypoxic Spalax broadly downregulates genes from major liver function pathways. This energy-saving response is likely a crucial adaptation to low oxygen levels. In contrast, the hypoxiasensitive rat shows massive upregulation of energy metabolism genes. Candidate genes with plausible connections to the mole rat’s phenotype, such as important key genes related to hypoxia-tolerance, DNA damage repair, tumourigenesis and ageing, are substantially higher expressed in Spalax than in rat. Comparative liver transcriptomics highlights the importance of molecular adaptations at the gene regulatory level in Spalax and pinpoints a variety of starting points for subsequent functional studies. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cancer" title="cancer">cancer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hypoxia" title=" hypoxia"> hypoxia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=longevity" title=" longevity"> longevity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transcriptomics" title=" transcriptomics"> transcriptomics</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/129580/hypoxia-tolerance-longevity-and-cancer-resistance-in-the-mole-rat-spalax-a-liver-transcriptomics-approach" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/129580.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">157</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">39</span> A Multi-Objective Methodology for Selecting Lean Initiatives in Modular Construction Companies</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Saba%20Shams%20Bidhendi">Saba Shams Bidhendi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Goh"> Steven Goh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Andrew%20Wandel"> Andrew Wandel</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives has produced significant impacts in improving operational performance and reducing manufacturing wastes in the production process. However, selecting an appropriate set of lean strategies is critical to avoid misapplication of the lean manufacturing techniques and consequential increase in non-value-adding activities. To the author&rsquo;s best knowledge, there is currently no methodology to select lean strategies that considers their impacts on manufacturing wastes and performance metrics simultaneously. In this research, a multi-objective methodology is proposed that suggests an appropriate set of lean initiatives based on their impacts on performance metrics and manufacturing wastes and within manufacturers&rsquo; resource limitation. The proposed methodology in this research suggests the best set of lean initiatives for implementation that have highest impacts on identified critical performance metrics and manufacturing wastes. Therefore, manufacturers can assure that implementing suggested lean tools improves their production performance and reduces manufacturing wastes at the same time. A case study was conducted to show the effectiveness and validate the proposed model and methodologies. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=lean%20manufacturing" title="lean manufacturing">lean manufacturing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=lean%20strategies" title=" lean strategies"> lean strategies</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=manufacturing%20wastes" title=" manufacturing wastes"> manufacturing wastes</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=manufacturing%20performance" title=" manufacturing performance"> manufacturing performance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=optimisation" title=" optimisation"> optimisation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=decision%20making" title=" decision making"> decision making</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/97420/a-multi-objective-methodology-for-selecting-lean-initiatives-in-modular-construction-companies" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/97420.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">192</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">38</span> Acceleration of Lagrangian and Eulerian Flow Solvers via Graphics Processing Units</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Pooya%20Niksiar">Pooya Niksiar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ali%20Ashrafizadeh"> Ali Ashrafizadeh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mehrzad%20Shams"> Mehrzad Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Amir%20Hossein%20Madani"> Amir Hossein Madani</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> There are many computationally demanding applications in science and engineering which need efficient algorithms implemented on high performance computers. Recently, Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) have drawn much attention as compared to the traditional CPU-based hardware and have opened up new improvement venues in scientific computing. One particular application area is Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), in which mature CPU-based codes need to be converted to GPU-based algorithms to take advantage of this new technology. In this paper, numerical solutions of two classes of discrete fluid flow models via both CPU and GPU are discussed and compared. Test problems include an Eulerian model of a two-dimensional incompressible laminar flow case and a Lagrangian model of a two phase flow field. The CUDA programming standard is used to employ an NVIDIA GPU with 480 cores and a C++ serial code is run on a single core Intel quad-core CPU. Up to two orders of magnitude speed up is observed on GPU for a certain range of grid resolution or particle numbers. As expected, Lagrangian formulation is better suited for parallel computations on GPU although Eulerian formulation represents significant speed up too. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CFD" title="CFD">CFD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Eulerian%20formulation" title=" Eulerian formulation"> Eulerian formulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=graphics%20processing%20units" title=" graphics processing units"> graphics processing units</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lagrangian%20formulation" title=" Lagrangian formulation"> Lagrangian formulation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/4118/acceleration-of-lagrangian-and-eulerian-flow-solvers-via-graphics-processing-units" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/4118.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">416</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">37</span> Characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder Patient and Perception of Caregiver Regarding Speech and Language Therapy in Bangladesh</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=K.%20M.%20Saif%20Ur%20Rahman">K. It has become an important public health issue globally. Many approaches including speech and language therapy (SLT), occupational therapy, behavioral therapy etc. are being applied for the betterment of the ASD patients. This study aims to describe the characteristics of ASD patients and perception of caregiver regarding SLT in Bangladesh. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in a therapy and rehabilitation center at Dhaka city. Caregivers of 48 ASD patients responded regarding their perception of SLT and characteristics of patients. Results: Among 48 ASD patients, 56.3% were between 3 to 5 years age group with a male predominance (87.5%). More than half of the participants (56.3%) initiated SLT at the age of 1-3 years and the majority (43.8%) were taking SLT for less than 1 year. Majority of the patients (64.6%) were taken to a physician for healthcare as a first contact of which 29.2% were referred to SLT by physicians. More than half (56.3%) of the caregivers were moderately satisfied with SLT and most of them (62.5%) mentioned moderate improvement through SLT. Improvement rate was 10-15% in specific symptoms such as eye contact, complex mannerism, pointing, imitation etc. Conclusion: This study reveals the self-reported perception of caregivers on SLT. Despite reported improvements, more exploration of different approaches and intervention for management of ASD is recommended. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ASD" title="ASD">ASD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=characteristics" title=" characteristics"> characteristics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=SLT" title=" SLT"> SLT</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bangladesh" title=" Bangladesh"> Bangladesh</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/98176/characteristics-of-autism-spectrum-disorder-patient-and-perception-of-caregiver-regarding-speech-and-language-therapy-in-bangladesh" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/98176.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">181</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">36</span> Documentation of Traditional Knowledge on Wild Medicinal Plants of Egypt</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nahla%20S.%20Abdel-Azim">Nahla S. Knowledge developed over the years by people is mostly unrecorded and orally passes on from one generation to the next. This knowledge is facing the danger of becoming extinct. Therefore there is an urgent need to document the medicinal and aromatic plants associated with traditional knowledge. The Egyptian Encyclopedia of wild medicinal plants (EEWMP) is the first attempt to collect most of the basic elements of the medicinal plant resources of Egypt and their traditional uses. It includes scientific data on about 500 medicinal plants in the form of monographs. Each monograph contains all available information and scientific data on the selected species including the following: names, description, distribution, parts used, habitat, conservational status, active or major chemical constituents, folk medicinal uses and heritage resources, pharmacological and biological activities, authentication, pharmaceutical products, and cultivation. The DNA bar-coding is also included (when available). A brief Arabic summary is given for every monograph. This work revealed the diversity in plant parts used in the treatment of different ailments. In addition, the traditional knowledge gathered can be considered a good starting point for effective in situ and ex-situ conservation of endangered plant species. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=encyclopedia" title="encyclopedia">encyclopedia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=medicinal%20plant" title=" medicinal plant"> medicinal plant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=traditional%20medicine" title=" traditional medicine"> traditional medicine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=wild%20flora" title=" wild flora"> wild flora</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/110623/documentation-of-traditional-knowledge-on-wild-medicinal-plants-of-egypt" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/110623.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">214</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">35</span> Marble Powder’s Effect on Permeability and Mechanical Properties of Concrete</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Ul%20Khaliq">Shams Ul Khaliq</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Khan%20Shahzada"> Khan Shahzada</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bashir%20Alam"> Bashir Alam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fawad%20Bilal"> Fawad Bilal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mushtaq%20Zeb"> Mushtaq Zeb</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Faizan%20Akbar"> Faizan Akbar</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Marble industry contributes its fair share in environmental deterioration, producing voluminous amounts of mud and other excess residues obtained from marble and granite processing, polluting soil, water and air. Reusing these products in other products will not just prevent our environment from polluting but also help with economy. In this research, an attempt has been made to study the expediency of waste Marble Powder (MP) in concrete production. Various laboratory tests were performed to investigate permeability, physical and mechanical properties, such as slump, compressive strength, split tensile test, etc. Concrete test samples were fabricated with varying MP content (replacing 5-30% cement), furnished from two different sources. 5% replacement of marble dust caused 6% and 12% decrease in compressive and tensile strength respectively. These parameters gradually decreased with increasing MP content up to 30%. Most optimum results were obtained with 10% replacement. Improvement in consistency and permeability were noticed. The permeability was improved with increasing MP proportion up to 10% without substantial decrease in compressive strength. Obtained results revealed that MP as an alternative to cement in concrete production is a viable option considering its economic and environment friendly implications. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=marble%20powder" title="marble powder">marble powder</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=strength" title=" strength"> strength</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=permeability" title=" permeability"> permeability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=consistency" title=" consistency"> consistency</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environment" title=" environment"> environment</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/46746/marble-powders-effect-on-permeability-and-mechanical-properties-of-concrete" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/46746.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">332</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">34</span> Design and Control of a Knee Rehabilitation Device Using an MR-Fluid Brake</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mina%20Beheshti">Mina Beheshti</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vida%20Shams"> Vida Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mojtaba%20Esfandiari"> Mojtaba Esfandiari</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Farzaneh%20Abdollahi"> Farzaneh Abdollahi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdolreza%20Ohadi"> Abdolreza Ohadi</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Most of the people who survive a stroke need rehabilitation tools to regain their mobility. The core function of these devices is a brake actuator. The goal of this study is to design and control a magnetorheological brake which can be used as a rehabilitation tool. In fact, the fluid used in this brake is called magnetorheological fluid or MR that properties can change by variation of the magnetic field. The braking properties can be set as control by using this feature of the fluid. In this research, different MR brake designs are first introduced in each design, and the dimensions of the brake have been determined based on the required torque for foot movement. To calculate the brake dimensions, it is assumed that the shear stress distribution in the fluid is uniform and the fluid is in its saturated state. After designing the rehabilitation brake, the mathematical model of the healthy movement of a healthy person is extracted. Due to the nonlinear nature of the system and its variability, various adaptive controllers, neural networks, and robust have been implemented to estimate the parameters and control the system. After calculating torque and control current, the best type of controller in terms of error and control current has been selected. Finally, this controller is implemented on the experimental data of the patient's movements, and the control current is calculated to achieve the desired torque and motion. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=rehabilitation" title="rehabilitation">rehabilitation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=magnetorheological%20fluid" title=" magnetorheological fluid"> magnetorheological fluid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=knee" title=" knee"> knee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=brake" title=" brake"> brake</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=adaptive%20control" title=" adaptive control"> adaptive control</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=robust%20control" title=" robust control"> robust control</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=neural%20network%20control" title=" neural network control"> neural network control</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=torque%20control" title=" torque control"> torque control</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/134338/design-and-control-of-a-knee-rehabilitation-device-using-an-mr-fluid-brake" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/134338.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">151</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">33</span> Biopsy or Biomarkers: Which Is the Sample of Choice in Assessment of Liver Fibrosis?</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=S.%20H.%20Atef">S. Also, to find out if these parameters could replace liver biopsy which is currently used for selection of chronic hepatitis C patients eligible for antiviral therapy. Study design: This study was conducted on 52 patients with HCV RNA detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) who had undergone liver biopsy and attending the internal medicine clinic at Ain Shams University Hospital. Liver fibrosis was evaluated according to the METAVIR scoring system on a scale of F0 to F4. Biochemical markers assessed were: alpha-2 macroglobulin (α2-MG), apolipoprotein A1 (Apo-A1), haptoglobin, gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), total bilirubin (TB) and hyaluronic acid (HA). The fibrotest score was computed after adjusting for age and gender. Predictive values and ROC curves were used to assess the accuracy of fibrotest and HA results. Results: For fibrotest, the observed area under curve for the discrimination between minimal or no fibrosis (F0-F1) and significant fibrosis (F2-F4) was 0.6736 for cutoff value 0.19 with sensitivity of 84.2% and specificity of 85.7%. For HA, the sensitivity was 89.5% and specificity was 85.7% and area under curve was 0.540 at the best cutoff value 71 mg/dL. Multi-use of both parameters, HA at 71 mg/dL with fibrotest score at 0.22 give a sensitivity 89.5%, specificity 100 and efficacy 92.3% (AUC 0.895). Conclusion: The use of both fibrotest score and HA could be as alternative to biopsy in most patients with chronic hepaitis C putting in consideration some limitations of the proposed markers in evaluating liver fibrosis. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fibrotest" title="fibrotest">fibrotest</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=liver%20fibrosis" title=" liver fibrosis"> liver fibrosis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=HCV%20RNA" title=" HCV RNA"> HCV RNA</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=biochemical%20markers" title=" biochemical markers"> biochemical markers</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/37231/biopsy-or-biomarkers-which-is-the-sample-of-choice-in-assessment-of-liver-fibrosis" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/37231.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">287</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">32</span> Effects of Transtheoretical Model in Obese and Overweight Women Nutritional Behavior Change and Lose Weight</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdmohammad%20Mousavi">Abdmohammad Mousavi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohsen%20Shams"> Mohsen Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mehdi%20Akbartabar%20Toori"> Mehdi Akbartabar Toori</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ali%20Mousavizadeh"> Ali Mousavizadeh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammad%20Ali%20Morowatisharifabad"> Mohammad Ali Morowatisharifabad </a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The effectiveness of Transtheoretical Model (TTM) on nutritional behavior change and lose weight has been subject to questions by some studies. It presents with many signs and symptoms including iron deficiency (ID) and iron deficiency anaemia/anaemia (IDA/A). The exact association between ID, IDA/A and CD and how accurate these signs are in diagnosing CD is not fully known. This systematic review was conducted to investigate the accuracy of both ID & IDA/A as a diagnostic indicator for CD and whether it warrants point of care testing. A systematic review was performed looking at studies published in MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science. QUADAS-2 tool was used to assess risk of bias in each study. ROC curve and forest plots were generated as part of the meta-analysis after data extraction. 16 studies were identified in total, 13 of which were IDA/A studies and 3 ID studies. The prevalence of CD regardless of diagnostic indicator was assumed as 1%. The QUADAS-2 tool indicated most of studies as having high risk of bias. The PPV for CD was higher in those with ID than for those with IDA/A. Meta-analysis showed the overall odds of having CD is 5 times higher in individuals with ID & IDA/A. The ROC curve showed that there is definitely an association between both diagnostic indicators and CD, the association is not a particularly strong one due to great heterogeneity between studies. Whilst an association between IDA/A & ID and coeliac disease was evident, the results were not deemed significant enough to prompt coeliac disease testing in those with IDA/A & ID. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=anemia" title="anemia">anemia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=iron%20deficiency%20anemia" title=" iron deficiency anemia"> iron deficiency anemia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=coeliac%20disease" title=" coeliac disease"> coeliac disease</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=point%20of%20care%20testing" title=" point of care testing"> point of care testing</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/157235/iron-deficiency-and-iron-deficiency-anaemiaanaemia-as-a-diagnostic-indicator-for-coeliac-disease-a-systematic-review-with-meta-analysis" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/157235.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">130</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">30</span> Behavioral Stages of Change in Calorie Balanced Dietary Intake; Effects of Decisional Balance and Self–Efficacy in Obese and Overweight Women</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdmohammad%20Mousavi">Abdmohammad Mousavi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohsen%20Shams"> Mohsen Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mehdi%20Akbartabar%20Toori"> Mehdi Akbartabar Toori</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ali%20Mousavizadeh"> Ali Mousavizadeh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammad%20Ali%20Morowatisharifabad"> Mohammad Ali Morowatisharifabad </a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Introduction: The effectiveness of Transtheoretical Model constructs on dietary behavior change has been subject to questions by some studies. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between self–efficacy and decisional balance as mediator variables and transfer obese and overweight women among the stages of behavior change of calorie balanced dietary intake. Method: In this cross-sectional study, 448 obese and overweight 20-44 years old women were selected from three health centers in Yasuj, a city in south west of Iran. Anthropometric data were measured using standard techniques. Demographic, stages of change, self-efficacy and decisional balance data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed using One–Way ANOVA and Generalized Linear Models tests. Results: Demographic and anthropometric variables were not different significantly in different stages of change related to calorie intake except the pre-high school level of education (P=.047, OR=502, 95% CI= .255 ~ .990). Mean scores of Self-efficacy ( F(4.425)= 27.09, P= .000), decisional balance (F(4.394), P= .004), and pros (F(4.430)=5.33, P=000) were different significantly in five stages of change. However, the cons did not show a significant change in this regard (F(4.400)=1.83, P=.123). Discussion: Women movement through the stages of changes for calorie intake behavior can be predicted by self efficacy, decisional balance and pros. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transtheoretical%20model" title="transtheoretical model">transtheoretical model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=stages%20of%20change" title=" stages of change"> stages of change</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=self%20efficacy" title=" self efficacy"> self efficacy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=decisional%20balance" title=" decisional balance"> decisional balance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=calorie%20intake" title=" calorie intake"> calorie intake</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=women" title=" women "> women </a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/19704/behavioral-stages-of-change-in-calorie-balanced-dietary-intake-effects-of-decisional-balance-and-self-efficacy-in-obese-and-overweight-women" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/19704.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">427</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">29</span> Effect of Bank Specific and Macro Economic Factors on Credit Risk of Islamic Banks in Pakistan</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mati%20Ullah">Mati Ullah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Ur%20Rahman"> Shams Ur Rahman</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The purpose of this research study is to investigate the effect of macroeconomic and bank-specific factors on credit risk in Islamic banking in Pakistan. The future of financial institutions largely depends on how well they manage risks. Credit risk is an important type of risk affecting the banking sector. The current study has taken quarterly data for the period of 6 years, from 1st July 2014 to 30 Jun 2020. The data set consisted of secondary data. Data was extracted from the websites of the State Bank and World Bank and from the financial statements of the concerned banks. In this study, the Ordinary least square model was used for the analysis of the data. The results supported the hypothesis that macroeconomic factors and bank-specific factors have a significant effect on credit risk. Macroeconomic variables, Inflation and exchange rates have positive significant effects on credit risk. However, gross domestic product has a negative significant relationship with credit risk. Moreover, the corporate rate has no significant relation with credit risk. Internal variables, size, management efficiency, net profit share income and capital adequacy have been proven to influence positively and significantly the credit risk. However, loan to deposit-has a negative insignificance relationship with credit risk. The contribution of this article is that similar conclusions have been made regarding the influence of banking factors on credit risk. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=credit%20risk" title="credit risk">credit risk</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Islamic%20banks" title=" Islamic banks"> Islamic banks</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=macroeconomic%20variables" title=" macroeconomic variables"> macroeconomic variables</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=banks%20specific%20variable" title=" banks specific variable"> banks specific variable</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/191970/effect-of-bank-specific-and-macro-economic-factors-on-credit-risk-of-islamic-banks-in-pakistan" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/191970.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">17</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">28</span> An Inductive Study of Pop Culture Versus Visual Art: Redefined from the Lens of Censorship in Bangladesh</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Tahsin%20Shams">Ahmed Tahsin Shams</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The right to dissent through any form of art has been facing challenges through various strict legal measures, particularly since 2018 when the Government of Bangladesh passed the Digital Security Act 2018 (DSA). Therefore, the references to ‘popular’ culture mostly include mainstream religious and national festivals and exclude critical intellectual representation of specific political allusions in any form of storytelling: whether wall art or fiction writing, since the post-DSA period in Bangladesh. Through inductive quantitative and qualitative methodological approaches, this paper aims to study the pattern of censorship, detention or custodial tortures against artists and the banning approach by the Bangladeshi government in the last five years, specifically against static visual arts, i.e., cartoon and wall art. The pattern drawn from these data attempts to redefine the popular notion of ‘pop culture’ as an unorganized folk or mass culture. The results also hypothesize how the post-DSA period forcefully constructs ‘pop culture’ as a very organized repetitive deception of enlightenment or entertainment. Thus the argument theorizes that this censoring trend is a fascist approach making the artists subaltern. So, in this socio-political context, these two similar and overlapping elements: culture and art, are vastly separated in two streams: the former being appreciated by the power, and the latter is a fearful concern for the power. Therefore, the purpose of art also shifts from entertainment to an act of rebellion, adding more layers to the new postmodern definition of ‘pop culture.’ <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=popular%20culture" title="popular culture">popular culture</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=visual%20arts" title=" visual arts"> visual arts</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=censoring%20trend" title=" censoring trend"> censoring trend</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fascist%20approach" title=" fascist approach"> fascist approach</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=subaltern" title=" subaltern"> subaltern</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=digital%20security%20act" title=" digital security act"> digital security act</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/165448/an-inductive-study-of-pop-culture-versus-visual-art-redefined-from-the-lens-of-censorship-in-bangladesh" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/165448.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">77</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">27</span> mm-Wave Wearable Edge Computing Module Hosted by Printed Ridge Gap Waveguide Structures: A Physical Layer Study</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Matthew%20Kostawich">Matthew Kostawich</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammed%20Elmorsy"> Mohammed Elmorsy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohamed%20Sayed%20Sifat"> Mohamed Sayed Sifat</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shoukry%20Shams"> Shoukry Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mahmoud%20Elsaadany"> Mahmoud Elsaadany</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> 6G communication systems represent the nominal future extension of current wireless technology, where its impact is extended to touch upon all human activities, including medical, security, and entertainment applications. As a result, human needs are allocated among the highest priority aspects of the system design and requirements. 6G communications is expected to replace all the current video conferencing with interactive virtual reality meetings involving high data-rate transmission merged with massive distributed computing resources. In addition, the current expansion of IoT applications must be mitigated with significant network changes to provide a reasonable Quality of Service (QoS). This directly implies a high demand for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) through mobile computing modules in future wireless communication systems. This article proposes the utilization of a Printed Ridge Gap Waveguide (PRGW) to host the wearable nodes. To the best of our knowledge, we propose for the first time a physical layer analysis within the context of a complete architecture. A thorough study is provided on the impact of the distortion of the guiding structure on the overall system performance. The proposed structure shows small latency and small losses, highlighting its compatibility with future applications. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ridge%20gap%20waveguide" title="ridge gap waveguide">ridge gap waveguide</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=edge%20computing%20module" title=" edge computing module"> edge computing module</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=6G" title=" 6G"> 6G</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=multimedia%20IoT%20applications" title=" multimedia IoT applications"> multimedia IoT applications</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/182712/mm-wave-wearable-edge-computing-module-hosted-by-printed-ridge-gap-waveguide-structures-a-physical-layer-study" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/182712.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">71</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">26</span> Hydraulic Conductivity Prediction of Cement Stabilized Pavement Base Incorporating Recycled Plastics and Recycled Aggregates</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Md.%20Shams%20Razi%20Shopnil">Md. Determination of hydraulic conductivity is a routine procedure for regular aggregate base courses. However, in many cases, a cement-stabilized base course is used with compromised drainage ability. Traditional hydraulic conductivity testing procedure is a readily available option which leads to two consequential drawbacks, i.e., the time required for the specimen to be saturated and extruding the sample after completion of the laboratory test. To overcome these complications, this study aims at formulating an empirical approach to predicting hydraulic conductivity based on Unconfined Compressive Strength test results. To do so, this study comprises two separate experiments (Constant Head Permeability test and Unconfined Compressive Strength test) conducted concurrently on a specimen having the same physical credentials. Data obtained from the two experiments were then used to devise a correlation between hydraulic conductivity and unconfined compressive strength. This correlation in the form of a polynomial equation helps to predict the hydraulic conductivity of cement-treated pavement base course, bypassing the cumbrous process of traditional permeability and less commonly used horizontal permeability tests. The correlation was further corroborated by a different set of data, and it has been found that the derived polynomial equation is deemed to be a viable tool to predict hydraulic conductivity. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hydraulic%20conductivity" title="hydraulic conductivity">hydraulic conductivity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=unconfined%20compressive%20strength" title=" unconfined compressive strength"> unconfined compressive strength</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=recycled%20plastics" title=" recycled plastics"> recycled plastics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=recycled%20concrete%20aggregates" title=" recycled concrete aggregates"> recycled concrete aggregates</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/163967/hydraulic-conductivity-prediction-of-cement-stabilized-pavement-base-incorporating-recycled-plastics-and-recycled-aggregates" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/163967.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">90</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">25</span> Q-Map: Clinical Concept Mining from Clinical Documents</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sheikh%20Shams%20Azam">Sheikh Shams Azam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Manoj%20Raju"> Manoj Raju</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Venkatesh%20Pagidimarri"> Venkatesh Pagidimarri</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vamsi%20Kasivajjala"> Vamsi Kasivajjala</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Over the past decade, there has been a steep rise in the data-driven analysis in major areas of medicine, such as clinical decision support system, survival analysis, patient similarity analysis, image analytics etc. Most of the data in the field are well-structured and available in numerical or categorical formats which can be used for experiments directly. But on the opposite end of the spectrum, there exists a wide expanse of data that is intractable for direct analysis owing to its unstructured nature which can be found in the form of discharge summaries, clinical notes, procedural notes which are in human written narrative format and neither have any relational model nor any standard grammatical structure. An important step in the utilization of these texts for such studies is to transform and process the data to retrieve structured information from the haystack of irrelevant data using information retrieval and data mining techniques. To address this problem, the authors present Q-Map in this paper, which is a simple yet robust system that can sift through massive datasets with unregulated formats to retrieve structured information aggressively and efficiently. It is backed by an effective mining technique which is based on a string matching algorithm that is indexed on curated knowledge sources, that is both fast and configurable. The authors also briefly examine its comparative performance with MetaMap, one of the most reputed tools for medical concepts retrieval and present the advantages the former displays over the latter. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=information%20retrieval" title="information retrieval">information retrieval</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=unified%20medical%20language%20system" title=" unified medical language system"> unified medical language system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=syntax%20based%20analysis" title=" syntax based analysis"> syntax based analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=natural%20language%20processing" title=" natural language processing"> natural language processing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=medical%20informatics" title=" medical informatics"> medical informatics</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/95189/q-map-clinical-concept-mining-from-clinical-documents" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/95189.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">133</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">24</span> Embolization of Spinal Dural Arteriovenous Fistulae: Clinical Outcomes and Long-Term Follow-Up: A Multicenter Study</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Walid%20Abouzeid">Walid Abouzeid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohamed%20Shadad"> Mohamed Shadad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mostafa%20Farid"> Mostafa Farid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Magdy%20El%20Hawary"> Magdy El Hawary</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The most frequent treatable vascular abnormality of the spinal canal is spinal dural arteriovenous fistulae (SDAVFs), which cause progressive para- or quadriplegia mostly affecting elderly males. SDAVFs are present in the thoracolumbar region. The main goal of treatment must be to obliterate the shunting zone via superselective embolization with the usage of a liquid embolic agent. This study aims to evaluate endovascular technique as a safe and efficient approach for the treatment SDAVFs, especially with long-term follow-up clinical outcomes. Study Design: A retrospective clinical case study. From May 2010 to May 2017, 15 patients who had symptoms attributed to SDAVFs underwent the operation in the Departments of Neurosurgery in Suhag, Tanta, and Al-Azhar Universities and Interventional Radiology, Ain Shams University. All the patients had varying degrees of progressive spastic paraparesis with and without sphincteric disturbances. Endovascular embolization was used in all cases. Fourteen were males, with ages ranging from 45 to 74 years old. After the treatment, good outcome was found in five patients (33.3%), a moderate outcome was delineated in six patients (40 %), and four patients revealed a poor outcome (26.7%). Spinal AVF could be treated safely and effectively by the endovascular approach. Generally, there is no correlation between the disappearance of MRI abnormalities and significant clinical improvement. The preclinical state of the patient is directly proportional to the clinical outcome. Due to unexpected responses, embolization should be attempted even the patient is in a bad clinical condition. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spine" title="spine">spine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=arteriovenous" title=" arteriovenous"> arteriovenous</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fistula" title=" fistula"> fistula</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=endovascular" title=" endovascular"> endovascular</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=embolization" title=" embolization"> embolization</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/147643/embolization-of-spinal-dural-arteriovenous-fistulae-clinical-outcomes-and-long-term-follow-up-a-multicenter-study" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/147643.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">108</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">23</span> Characterization of Nano Coefficient of Friction through Lfm of Superhydrophobic/Oleophobic Coatings Applied on 316l Ss</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hamza%20Shams">Hamza Shams</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sajid%20Saleem"> Sajid Saleem</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bilal%20A.%20Siddiqui"> Bilal A. The coatings were investigated in harsh sand-storm and sea water environments. The particle size of the sand during the procedure was carefully selected to simulate sand-storm conditions. Sand speed during the procedure was carefully modulated to simulate actual wind speed during a sand-storm. Sample preparation was carried out using prescribed methodology by the coating manufacturer. The coating’s adhesion and thickness was verified before and after the experiment with the use of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The value for nano-level coefficient of friction has been determined using Lateral Force Microscopy (LFM). The analysis has been used to formulate a value of friction coefficient which in turn is associative of the amount of wear the coating can bear before the exposure of the base substrate to the harsh environment. The analysis aims to validate the coefficient of friction value as marketed by the coating manufacturers and more importantly test the coating in real-life applications to justify its use. It is expected that the coating would resist exposure to the harsh environment for a considerable amount of time. Further, it would prevent the sample from getting corroded in the process. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=316L%20SS" title="316L SS">316L SS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=scanning%20electron%20microscopy" title=" scanning electron microscopy"> scanning electron microscopy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=lateral%20force%20microscopy" title=" lateral force microscopy"> lateral force microscopy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=marine%20stainless%20steel" title=" marine stainless steel"> marine stainless steel</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=oleophobic%20coating" title=" oleophobic coating"> oleophobic coating</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=superhydrophobic%20coating" title=" superhydrophobic coating"> superhydrophobic coating</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/35412/characterization-of-nano-coefficient-of-friction-through-lfm-of-superhydrophobicoleophobic-coatings-applied-on-316l-ss" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/35412.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">486</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">22</span> Chromatographic Fingerprint Analysis of Methanolic Extract of Camellia sinensis Linn. Traditional Chinese medicine has recommended green tea for headaches, body aches and pains, digestion, enhancement of immune defense, detoxification, as an energizer and to prolong life. The leaves have more than 700 chemical constituents, among which flavanoids, amino acids, vitamins (C, E, K), caffeine and polysaccharides. Adulteration and substitution may affect the quality of formulation containing tea leaves. Standardization of medicinal preparation is essential for further therapeutic results and for global acceptance. Hence, chromatographic fingerprint profiles were carried out for establishing the standards. Materials and methods: TLC studies for methanolic extracts of the leaves of Camellia sinensis were carried out in a new developed solvent system, Toluene: Ethyl acetate: Formic acid (7:3:1). TLC plates were dried in air, visualized in UV at wavelengths 254 nm and 366 nm and photographed. Results: Results provide valuable clue regarding their polarity and selection of solvents for separation of phytochemicals. Fingerprinting of methanolic extract of Camellia sinensis leaves revealed the presence of various phytochemicals in UV at 254 nm and 366 nm. Conclusion: Fingerprint profile is quite helpful in setting up of standards and thus to keep a check on intentional/unintentional adulteration. TLC offers major advantages over other conventional chromatographic techniques such as unsurpassed flexibility (esp. stationary and mobile phase), choice of detection wavelength, user friendly, rapid and cost effective. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Cammelia%20sinensis%20Linn." title="Cammelia sinensis Linn.">Cammelia sinensis Linn.</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=standardization" title=" standardization"> standardization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=methanolic%20extract" title=" methanolic extract"> methanolic extract</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thin%20layer%20chromatography" title=" thin layer chromatography"> thin layer chromatography</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/44138/chromatographic-fingerprint-analysis-of-methanolic-extract-of-camellia-sinensis-linn-leaves" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/44138.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">425</span> </span> </div> </div> <ul class="pagination"> <li class="page-item disabled"><span class="page-link">&lsaquo;</span></li> <li class="page-item active"><span class="page-link">1</span></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Alyusof&amp;page=2">2</a></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shams%20Alyusof&amp;page=2" rel="next">&rsaquo;</a></li> </ul> </div> </main> <footer> <div id="infolinks" class="pt-3 pb-2"> <div class="container"> <div style="background-color:#f5f5f5;" class="p-3"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> About <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">About Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support#legal-information">Legal</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/WASET-16th-foundational-anniversary.pdf">WASET celebrates its 16th foundational anniversary</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Account <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile">My Account</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Explore <li><a href="https://waset.org/disciplines">Disciplines</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conferences">Conferences</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conference-programs">Conference Program</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/committees">Committees</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Publications</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Research <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts">Abstracts</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Periodicals</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/archive">Archive</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Open Science <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Philosophy.pdf">Open Science Philosophy</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Award.pdf">Open Science Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Society-Open-Science-and-Open-Innovation.pdf">Open Innovation</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Postdoctoral-Fellowship-Award.pdf">Postdoctoral Fellowship Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Scholarly-Research-Review.pdf">Scholarly Research Review</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Support <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">Support</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Contact Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Report Abuse</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="container text-center"> <hr style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:.3rem;"> <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" target="_blank" class="text-muted small">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a> <div id="copy" class="mt-2">&copy;
