Ms Janjua led the Pakistani side, while the Afghan deputy foreign minister represented his country. </p><p class="">The two sides discussed “ways and means to enhance the level of mutual trust”. </p><p class="">Quoting a statement issued from the office of President Ghani, Afghan media, however, reported that he had raised security concerns during his meeting with Ms Janjua. </p><p class="">The president also raised the issue of “cross-border shelling and asked the visiting official to share his concerns with her country’s new leadership”. </p><p class="">He stated that Pakistan should take fundamental and practical actions based on an agreement made at a trilateral meeting in London in March. </p><p class="">Referring to terrorism in the region as a shared threat, President
