It‘s only the second year that <a href="https://rknight.me">Robb</a> and omg.lol have joined forces to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but I’d like to think that we’ve made a tremendous difference in a fairly short amount of time.</p> <p>Throughout the month, omg.lol donated half of everything that we took in, and combined with everyone’s individual donations, our community collectively raised an astonishing <strong>$20,458.63</strong>!</p> <p>I still can’t quite wrap my head around that number, but it’s very real, and it will make a difference to so many people. Because of your support, families going through their most challenging times will be able to focus on what matters most—spending time with one another—instead of worrying about how to pay for cancer treatment for their child.</p> <p>We recently <a href="https://omglol.news/2024/08/15/the-omg-lol-charitable-giving-committee">formed a community committee</a> to focus on how we can organize more charitable giving efforts tied to additional worthy causes, and we should have an update on that before long. September will always see a ton of energy dedicated to St. Jude, but I’m excited about other opportunities for our broader community to make a difference to even more people in different ways.</p> <p>Robb and I want to express a <em>huge</em> thanks to everyone who donated this year. You are all very special people, with such kind hearts.
