The station is east of the original <a href="/locations/W/Wallyford_1st/">Wallyford [1st]</a> station, which was very short lived.<br> <br> To the west was the junction and exchange sidings for <a href="/locations/W/Wallyford_Colliery_Pit_No_1/">Wallyford Colliery Pit No 1</a>, <a href="/locations/W/Wallyford_Brick_Works/">Wallyford Brick Works</a> and <a href="/locations/W/Wallyford_Colliery_Pit_No_3/">Wallyford Colliery Pit No 3</a>, to the south. The signal box 'Wallyford' was located on the north side of the line at the junction.
