Self-paced learning courses are undertaken solo at your own pace without having to schedule time away from work or other commitments.</p> <p>Both training types can work together to help continue and document your own continuing professional development (CPD).</p> <h4>How do the courses work?</h4> <p>Self-paced learning courses consist of of a series of pages grouped into modules:</p> <ul> <li>Each page includes reading material; while some also have interactive exercises such as quizzes and surveys to demonstrate your understanding <ul> <li>Your overall progress is calculated based on you marking each page as complete (ie that you have read and understood it)</li> <li>Additionally, on each page you can add your own notes, highlight important sections, and set bookmarks</li> <li>Each time you complete an exercise or activity, your progress is record and you can compare against previous attempts</li> </ul> </li> <li>Most modules include a self assessment questionnaire where you can record your answers and compare them to the ideal ones.</li> <li>The course ends with a final assessment, passing which allows access to your certificate. Marking all pages as complete is not required to take the assessment.</li> </ul> <h4>Do I need any special software?</h4> <p>IPI Academy self-paced learning courses are fully browser-based require no downloads; the only requirement being a modern web browser (eg Chrome/Edge/Safari/Firefox).</p> <h4>Can I try a course before purchasing?</h4> <p>Many of our self-paced courses offer a free sample version which is a small extract of the course. These are clearly displayed on each course page.</p> <p>Note the sample versions do not include a final assessment or certificate.</p> <h4>How do I access the courses?</h4> <p>Self-paced learning courses are delivered here at ipi.academy, through your account.</p> <p>After you have purchased, visit the '<a href="account/participants">My courses</a>' page - when you view your enrolment, you will be able to see your progress at a glance, and a link to start the training itself.</p> <h4>Is there any time limit?</h4> <p>There is no time limit to complete the course; and you can continue to access the course at any time after you complete it.</p> <h4>Can I download the courses?</h4> <p>Your training is delivered in an online/interactive format, so it is not available to download.</p> <h4>Will I receive a certificate?</h4> <p>A certificate is provided for your continuing professional development (CPD) records.</p> <p>To download your certificate you must complete and pass the final assessment to demonstrate your understanding of the course. The pass score and number of permitted attempts are clearly displayed; you can contact us for assistance if you have any difficulties.</p> <h4>Can I purchase self-paced learning for my colleagues?</h4> <p>Yes - you can purchase training for any number of colleagues (which may or may not include yourself).</p> <p>Via your account you will be able to invite your colleagues to enrol; see when they enrolled; and check their progress and completion status.</p> <p>The same multiple booking discounts as our live courses apply - 30%/40%/50% off the 2nd/3rd/4th delegate respectively.
