called compound or composite when its execution involves interactions with other WS to use their features. The composition of WS specifies which services need to be invoked, in what order and how to handle exception conditions. This paper gives an overview of research efforts of WS composition. The approaches proposed in the literature are diverse, interesting and have opened important research areas. Based on many studies, we extracted the most important role of WS composition use in order to facilitate its introduction in WS concept. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=SOA" title="SOA">SOA</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=web%20services" title=" web services"> web services</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=composition%20approach" title=" composition approach"> composition approach</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=composite%20WS" title=" composite WS"> composite WS</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/40923/survey-of-web-service-composition" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/40923.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">308</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">13</span> Extracting Actions with Improved Part of Speech Tagging for Social Networking Texts</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yassine%20Jamoussi">Yassine Jamoussi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ameni%20Youssfi"> Ameni Youssfi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20Ben%20Ghezala"> Henda Ben Ghezala</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> With the growing interest in social networking, the interaction of social actors evolved to a source of knowledge in which it becomes possible to perform context aware-reasoning. The information extraction from social networking especially Twitter and Facebook is one of the problems in this area. To extract text from social networking, we need several lexical features and large scale word clustering. We attempt to expand existing tokenizer and to develop our own tagger in order to support the incorrect words currently in existence in Facebook and Twitter. Our goal in this work is to benefit from the lexical features developed for Twitter and online conversational text in previous works, and to develop an extraction model for constructing a huge knowledge based on actions <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=social%20networking" title="social networking">social networking</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=information%20extraction" title=" information extraction"> information extraction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=part-of-speech%20tagging" title=" part-of-speech tagging"> part-of-speech tagging</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=natural%20language%20processing" title=" natural language processing"> natural language processing</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/51464/extracting-actions-with-improved-part-of-speech-tagging-for-social-networking-texts" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/51464.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">305</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">12</span> Socio-Cultural Adaptation Approach to Enhance Intercultural Collaboration and Learning </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fadoua%20Ouamani">Fadoua Ouamani</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Narj%C3%A8s%20Bellamine%20Ben%20Saoud"> Narjès Bellamine Ben Saoud</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20Hajjami%20Ben%20Gh%C3%A9zala"> Henda Hajjami Ben Ghézala</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In the last few years and over the last decades, there was a growing interest in the development of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) environments. However, the existing systems ignore the variety of learners and their socio-cultural differences, especially in the case of distant and networked learning. In fact, within such collaborative learning environments, learners from different socio-cultural backgrounds may interact together. These learners evolve within various cultures and social contexts and acquire different socio-cultural values and behaviors. Thus, they should be assisted while communicating and collaborating especially in an intercultural group. Besides, the communication and collaboration tools provided to each learner must depend on and be adapted to her/his socio-cultural profile. The main goal of this paper is to present the proposed socio-cultural adaptation approach based on and guided by ontologies to adapt CSCL environments to the socio-cultural profiles of its users (learners or others). <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CSCL" title="CSCL">CSCL</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=socio-cultural%20profile" title=" socio-cultural profile"> socio-cultural profile</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=adaptation" title=" adaptation"> adaptation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ontology" title=" ontology"> ontology</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/31593/socio-cultural-adaptation-approach-to-enhance-intercultural-collaboration-and-learning" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/31593.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">360</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">11</span> Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis on DEFT</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Najiba%20Ouled%20Omar">Najiba Ouled Omar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Azza%20Harbaoui"> Azza Harbaoui</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20Ben%20Ghezala"> Henda Ben Ghezala</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Current research practices sentiment analysis with a focus on social networks, DEfi Fouille de Texte (DEFT) (Text Mining Challenge) evaluation campaign focuses on opinion mining and sentiment analysis on social networks, especially social network Twitter. The collection of poor-quality data resulting, for example, from poorly designed questionnaires, the absence of good translators or interpreters, and the incorrect recording of data allow conclusions to be drawn that are not supported by the data or to focus only on the average effect of the program or policy. There are several solutions to avoid or minimize the most frequent errors, including obtaining expert advice on the design or adaptation of data collection instruments; or use technologies allowing better "anonymity" in the responses [2]. In this context, we opted to collect good quality data by doing a sizeable questionnaire-based survey on hospital emergencies to improve emergency services and alleviate the problems encountered. At the level of this paper, we will present our study, and we will detail the steps followed to achieve the collection of relevant, consistent and practical data. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20collection" title="data collection">data collection</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=survey" title=" survey"> survey</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=questionnaire" title=" questionnaire"> questionnaire</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=database" title=" database"> database</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20analysis" title=" data analysis"> data analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hospital%20emergencies" title=" hospital emergencies"> hospital emergencies</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/140605/data-collection-based-on-the-questionnaire-survey-in-hospital-emergencies" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/140605.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">108</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">9</span> Heat and Mass Transfer of an Oscillating Flow in a Porous Channel with Chemical Reaction</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zahra%20Neffah">Zahra Neffah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20Kahalerras"> Henda Kahalerras</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A numerical study is made in a parallel-plate porous channel subjected to an oscillating flow and an exothermic chemical reaction on its walls. The association of each genetic marker with SVR was analyzed and comparison between the two SNPs was calculated by logistic regression models. For rs12979860, 69.6% of patients with CC, 41.8% with CT and 42.8% with TT achieved SVR (p = 0.003). Regarding ss469415590, 70.4% of patients with TT/TT genotype achieved SVR compared to 42.8% with TT/ΔG and 37.5% with ΔG /ΔG (p = 0.002). The presence of CC and TT/TT genotypes was independently associated with treatment response with an OR of 3.86 for each. In conclusion, both IL28B rs12979860 and IFNL4 ss469415590 variants were associated with response to pegIFN/RBV in Tunisian patients, without any additional benefit in performance for IFNL4. Our results are different from those detected in Sub-Saharan Africa countries. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hepatitis%20C%20virus" title="Hepatitis C virus">Hepatitis C virus</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=IFNL4" title=" IFNL4"> IFNL4</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=IL28B" title=" IL28B"> IL28B</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Peginterferon%2Fribavirin" title=" Peginterferon/ribavirin"> Peginterferon/ribavirin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=polymorphism" title=" polymorphism"> polymorphism</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71093/correlation-of-ifnl4-ss469415590-and-il28b-rs12979860-with-the-hepatitis-c-virus-treatment-response-among-tunisian-patients" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71093.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">338</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">5</span> Seroprevalence of Hepatitis a Virus Infection among General Population in Central-West Tunisia</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jihene%20%20Bettaieb">Jihene Bettaieb</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kaouther%20%20Ayouni"> Kaouther Ayouni</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ghassen%20%20Kharroubi"> Ghassen Kharroubi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rym%20%20Mallekh"> Rym Mallekh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Walid%20%20Hammemi"> Walid Hammemi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Afif%20%20Ben%20Salah"> Afif Ben Salah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20%20Triki"> Henda Triki</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In Tunisia, the hepatitis A virus (HAV) represents a public health concern. Due to the progress in sanitation and socio-economic conditions, the epidemiology of HAV has shown dynamic changes over the past years. This study aimed to investigate the current seroprevalence of HAV antibodies (anti-HAV) among the residents of Thala, a rural setting in central-west Tunisia, to determine the age-specific seroprevalence for HAV infection and co-infection with hepatitis C and B virus. A total of 1379 subjects (mean age: 25.0 ± 17.3 years, 555 males/ 824 females) were recruited between January and June 2014. The study population included 95 individuals previously known as hepatitis C positive. Serum samples were collected and screened for the detection of IgG anti-HAV, HBsAg, and HBcAb by the Elisa Test. The overall anti- HAV seroprevalence was about 84.7%. There was no statistically significant difference between males and females. On the 1379 tested individual, 219 were positive for HBcAb, and 67 were positive for HBsAg. IgG anti- HAV were positive in 80.6% of HBsAg-positive patients (54 out of 67), 81.3% of HBcAb-positive patients (178 out of 219), and in 95.8% of HCV-positive patients (91 out of 95). HBV infection and HCV infection were statistically associated with a greater risk of positive anti-HAV antibody (p < 0.001). Our study revealed that Thala represents an intermediate endemicity level and that the introduction of vaccination against HAV in this region is recommended, especially for the hepatitis B or C infected person seronegative for HAV. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=coinfection" title="coinfection">coinfection</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hepatitis%20A" title=" hepatitis A"> hepatitis A</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=seroprevalence" title=" seroprevalence"> seroprevalence</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tunisia" title=" Tunisia"> Tunisia</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/127942/seroprevalence-of-hepatitis-a-virus-infection-among-general-population-in-central-west-tunisia" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/127942.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">151</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4</span> Predicting Wearable Technology Readiness in a South African Government Department: Exploring the Influence of Wearable Technology Acceptance and Positive Attitude</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20J%20Thomas">Henda J Thomas</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Cornelia%20PJ%20Harmse"> Cornelia PJ Harmse</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Cecile%20Schultz"> Cecile Schultz</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Wearables are one of the technologies that will flourish within the fourth industrial revolution and digital transformation arenas, allowing employers to integrate collected data into organisational information systems. The study aimed to investigate whether wearable technology readiness can predict employees’ acceptance to wear wearables in the workplace. The factors of technology readiness predisposition that predict acceptance and positive attitudes towards wearable use in the workplace were examined. A quantitative research approach was used. The population consisted of 8 081 South African Department of Employment and Labour employees (DEL). Census sampling was used, and questionnaires to collect data were sent electronically to all 8 081 employees, 351 questionnaires were received back. The measuring instrument called the Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM) was used in this study. Four hypotheses were formulated to investigate the relationship between readiness and acceptance of wearables in the workplace. The results found consistent predictions of technology acceptance (TA) by eagerness, optimism, and discomfort in the technology readiness (TR) scales. The TR scales of optimism and eagerness were consistent positive predictors of the TA scales, while discomfort proved to be a negative predictor for two of the three TA scales. Insecurity was found not to be a predictor of TA. It was recommended that the digital transformation policy of the DEL should be revised. Wearables in the workplace should be embraced from the viewpoint of convenience, automation, and seamless integration with the DEL information systems. The empirical contribution of this study can be seen in the fact that positive attitude emerged as a factor that extends the TRAM. In this study, positive attitude is identified as a new dimension to the TRAM not found in the original TA model and subsequent studies of the TRAM. Furthermore, this study found that Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Behavioural Intention to Use and (BIU) could not be separated but formed one factor. The methodological contribution of this study can lead to the development of a Wearable Readiness and Acceptance Model (WRAM). To the best of our knowledge, no author has yet introduced the WRAM into the body of knowledge. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=technology%20acceptance%20model" title="technology acceptance model">technology acceptance model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=technology%20readiness%20index" title=" technology readiness index"> technology readiness index</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=technology%20readiness%20and%20acceptance%20model" title=" technology readiness and acceptance model"> technology readiness and acceptance model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=wearable%20devices" title=" wearable devices"> wearable devices</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=wearable%20technology" title=" wearable technology"> wearable technology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fourth%20industrial%20revolution" title=" fourth industrial revolution"> fourth industrial revolution</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/170603/predicting-wearable-technology-readiness-in-a-south-african-government-department-exploring-the-influence-of-wearable-technology-acceptance-and-positive-attitude" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/170603.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">89</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3</span> The Quantum Theory of Music and Human Languages</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mballa%20Abanda%20Luc%20Aurelien%20Serge">Mballa Abanda Luc Aurelien Serge</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Henda%20Gnakate%20Biba"> Henda Gnakate Biba</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kuate%20Guemo%20Romaric"> Kuate Guemo Romaric</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Akono%20Rufine%20Nicole"> Akono Rufine Nicole</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zabotom%20Yaya%20Fadel%20Biba"> Zabotom Yaya Fadel Biba</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Petfiang%20Sidonie"> Petfiang Sidonie</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bella%20Suzane%20Jenifer"> Bella Suzane Jenifer</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The main hypotheses proposed around the definition of the syllable and of music, of the common origin of music and language, should lead the reader to reflect on the cross-cutting questions raised by the debate on the notion of universals in linguistics and musicology. It is a glossary that expresses the tones and the rhythm of words. It recreates exactly the speaking or singing of a tonal language, and allows the non-speaker of this language to pronounce the words as if they were a native. It is a dictionary adapted to tonal languages. It was built from ethnomusicological theorems and phonological processes, according to Jean. J. Rousseau 1776 hypothesis /To say and to sing were once the same thing/. Each word in the French dictionary finds its corresponding language, ekaη. And each word ekaη is written on a musical staff.
