For context, our research tracks categories across hardware, software, IT labor, cloud services, managed services, telecom, facilities, and internal services.

We ask because we want to better understand the challenges you’re facing, so we can surface relevant research insights to help you do your job better. Case in point: We’ve just conducted an in-depth analysis of our 2024 State of IT budgets data (revealing your peers’ spending behaviors to benchmark against) and we want to share our findings with you.

Join our webinar on January 31st @ 3PM Eastern for a deep dive into the choices and tradeoffs organizations make across IT spending categories, and see how you compare. Eventually you get so behind with this that it becomes a massive project to modernize.

When I came into my current work network in 2014 they had standardized on Win 7(32) because most machines were P4 machines with only 40GB hard drives. We spent all our time cleaning up drive space and piecing these clunkers together. I convinced the only department with money to rotate out their aging machines, took those old core 2 machines (ewaste to them) and swapped out the P4s in other departments. This stopped the bleeding so those departments could start to catch up in their device rotation.
