Wing Pro, on as many machines as needed for their work.</p> <div class="section"> <h3 class="title-3">Types of Licenses</h3> <div class="bullet-list"><ul><li><span class="bullet"> <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Perpetual</span></tt> licenses are non-expiring licenses for one major release, such as Wing Pro 10, and all earlier releases.</span></li> <li><span class="bullet"> <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Annual</span></tt> licenses work with any released version of Wing for one year, and then expire and stop working entirely unless they are renewed.</span></li> </ul></div><p><tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Non-Commercial</span> <span class="pre">Use</span></tt> variants of the above licenses are available for schools, unpaid individuals, publicly funded non-profits, and startup companies less than three years old.</p> <p>Only <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Commercial</span> <span class="pre">Use</span></tt> licenses are transferable.</p> <p>Most Wing Pro licenses are worldwide licenses that can be used in any country or region. Some discounted licenses are designated at the time of sale as geographically restricted to a specific country or region. These licenses are invalid and will not work in other countries or regions.</p> </div> <div class="section"> <h3 class="title-3">Support and Upgrades</h3> <p>All licenses include one year of email support and access to newly released version of Wing Pro.</p> <p>For <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Perpetual</span></tt> licenses, access to Support+Upgrades may extended, at a cost of US$ 99/year for <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Commercial</span> <span class="pre">Use</span></tt> licenses or US$ 44/year for <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Non-Commercial</span> <span class="pre">Use</span></tt> licenses.</p> <p>For <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Annual</span></tt> licenses, all renewals include Support+Upgrades.</p> <p><tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Non-Commercial</span> <span class="pre">Use</span></tt> licenses may be upgraded to <tt class="literal"><span class="pre">Commercial</span> <span class="pre">Use</span></tt> by paying the price difference between the original and upgraded license.</p> <p>Please see <a class="reference" href="/store/terms">Support+Upgrades</a> for details and use our <a class="reference" href="https://wingware.com/store/upgrade">online store</a> for all types of renewals and upgrades.</p> </div> <div class="section"> <h3 class="title-3">License Activation</h3> <p>Wing Pro licenses must be activated after installation on each machine. By default, each license is allowed up to ten activations per year. More activations may be obtained on request to <a class="reference" href="mailto:support@wingware.com?subject=Increase%20License%20Activations">support@wingware.com</a>.</p> <p>Our licensing system is designed to have minimal impact on legitimate users. As a fall-back in emergencies, Wing will run for 10 minutes at a time without any license, or a trial license period can be used until any license problem is resolved.</p> </div> <div class="section"> <h3 class="title-3">Access to Product Source Code</h3> <p>Wing Pro licenses includes access to product source code, with a signed <a class="reference" href="http://wingware.com/pub/wingide/support/source-non-discl.pdf">non-disclosure agreement</a>. Source usage rights are summarized as follows:</p> <div class="bullet-list"><ul><li><span class="bullet"> You may make alterations and improvements to the source code as long as you don't try to defeat our license validation code or remove our copyright or trademark.</span></li> <li><span class="bullet"> You may distribute any changes you make to the source code, in the form of patch files or in other forms that don't include substantial parts of our code. New licenses will be revoked after refund.
