We hebben nu circa 6000 werknemers in heel Ierland, ter ondersteuning van alle bedrijfssectoren. Sinds 2012 hebben we bijna 220 miljoen euro geïnvesteerd in de ontwikkeling van onze Hollyhill-campus, en we hebben onlangs opnieuw uitgebreid met een nieuw gebouw dat plaats biedt aan 1400 werknemers. Apple is de grootste werkgever in Cork, en we zijn er trots op dat veel werknemers al tientallen jaren voor ons werken.</p> <h4 class="table-label">Londen</h4> <p>In Londen hebben we meer dan 2500 werknemers, en we zien uit naar de opening van de nieuwe campus in Battersea Power Station. De investering in een van de meest herkenbare gebouwen in de stad is cruciaal voor de renovatie van deze bijzondere, 17 hectare grote locatie aan de Theems.</p> <h4 class="table-label">Napels</h4> <p>Jaarlijks worden honderden studenten opgeleid tot app-ontwikkelaar aan de Apple Developer Academy, in het ultramoderne centrum van de Universiteit van Napels Federico II. De opleiding duurt een jaar, waarin de studenten de vaardigheden en ervaring opdoen om ideeën om te zetten in echte apps. We werken ook samen met vijf andere universiteiten in de regio zodat de noodzakelijke kennis en training over app-ontwikkeling toegankelijk zijn voor nog eens duizend studenten.</p> <h4 class="table-label">Jutland</h4> <p>Onze allereerste Europese datacentra zorgen voor banen en investeringen in Denemarken. Beide locaties zorgen voor de broodnodige gegevensopslag voor onze klanten, en werken voor 100 procent op hernieuwbare energie.
