Her major research interests lie in fuzzy expert systems, fuzzy decision making, social statistics, and data sciences. Previously, she served as a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at Manchester Cancer Research Centre, University of Manchester, where she worked with David Wedge in the field of Cancer Genomics and Data Science. Her work focuses on applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques to make novel discoveries across a wide range of cancer types. Her target is to analyze data from Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) experiments to identify genomic features that drive tumor evolution, with her focus on lung and prostate cancers. Besides, she has also published outstanding research articles broadly in her area. She was selected as one of the CEO@Faculty Programme 2.0 Cycle 2.0 fellows in 2018 and joined the industry attachment at Sun Life Assurance Malaysia Berhad for 6 months. She was also one of the finalists for the Merdeka Award 2019. She has experience as an Editor for the Malaysian Journal of Computing and Applied Mathematics and the Malaysian Journal of Applied Sciences since 2016.
