ba\u00f1ezana. Y es que Mar\u00eda Teresa Alonso se puso al frente de la cocina del Miku cuando su marido, Miguel \u00c1ngel Sobrino, decidi\u00f3 abrir un restaurante en su tierra. A diario en el comedor conviven distintos perfiles de comensales: turistas, forasteros, comarcanos, peregrinos y parroquianos. A pesar de ser un establecimiento nuevo, conserva ese aire de casa de comidas de las de toda la vida. Me refiero al clima, pues la decoraci\u00f3n y la distribuci\u00f3n del restaurante son totalmente modernas.. Miguel \u00c1ngel Sobrino se pas\u00f3 la ni\u00f1ez en el Hotel Moderno que dirig\u00eda Pilar, su madre. Eso es historia que a finales de los 70 se esfum\u00f3. Pero no lo hizo el oficio, porque le toc\u00f3 salir fuera, trabajar en la costa y en otros restaurantes, hasta que en 2017 encontr\u00f3 su \u201csitio\u201d, literalmente, en el callejero de Astorga. En la calle Los Sitios, en el entorno de la catedral, el Palacio de Gaud\u00ed y acompa\u00f1ado por el paso permanente de peregrinos, abri\u00f3 las puertas del Miku. Un peque\u00f1o restaurante de corte familiar que trabaja el men\u00fa diario \u2013en torno a 16 euros- y con platos y raciones en una carta que no pasa de 30 euros cubierto.. El cocido maragato no puede faltar \u201cpor razones obvias\u201d, dice Miguel \u00c1ngel y asiente Pablo, su hijo. Es un acierto seguro. Aunque las ancas de rana tambi\u00e9n llaman la atenci\u00f3n entre otras raciones como el pulpo a la gallega, la lengua guisada, las emergentes croquetas de distintos tipos y, dentro de los embutidos, la cecina de Le\u00f3n, haciendo especial hincapi\u00e9 en la que est\u00e1 amparada por la IGP. Miguel \u00c1ngel no olvida que su clientela es variopinta, de ah\u00ed que en la carta tambi\u00e9n haya hueco para bocadillos, s\u00e1ndwiches y tostas. Entre las carnes, solomillo de cerdo, pechuga a la plancha o rebozada, escalopines y alb\u00f3ndigas.. Miku no es ni alta cocina ni baja. plato de cecina o un cocido maragato, puedas saborear unas ancas de rana con la salsa a la bañezana. Y es que María Teresa Alonso se puso al frente de la cocina del Miku cuando su marido, Miguel Ángel Sobrino, decidió abrir un restaurante en su tierra. A diario en el comedor conviven distintos perfiles de comensales: turistas, forasteros, comarcanos, peregrinos y parroquianos. A pesar de ser un establecimiento nuevo, conserva ese aire de casa de comidas de las de toda la vida. Me refiero al clima, pues la decoración y la distribución del restaurante son totalmente modernas.</p><p class="paragraph">Miguel Ángel Sobrino se pasó la niñez en el Hotel Moderno que dirigía Pilar, su madre. Eso es historia que a finales de los 70 se esfumó. Pero no lo hizo el oficio, porque le tocó salir fuera, trabajar en la costa y en otros restaurantes, hasta que en 2017 encontró su “sitio”, literalmente, en el callejero de Astorga. En la calle Los Sitios, en el entorno de la catedral, el Palacio de Gaudí y acompañado por el paso permanente de peregrinos, abrió las puertas del Miku. Un pequeño restaurante de corte familiar que trabaja el menú diario –en torno a 16 euros- y con platos y raciones en una carta que no pasa de 30 euros cubierto.</p><p class="paragraph">El cocido maragato no puede faltar “por razones obvias”, dice Miguel Ángel y asiente Pablo, su hijo. Es un acierto seguro. Aunque las ancas de rana también llaman la atención entre otras raciones como el pulpo a la gallega, la lengua guisada, las emergentes croquetas de distintos tipos y, dentro de los embutidos, la cecina de León, haciendo especial hincapié en la que está amparada por la IGP. Miguel Ángel no olvida que su clientela es variopinta, de ahí que en la carta también haya hueco para bocadillos, sándwiches y tostas. Entre las carnes, solomillo de cerdo, pechuga a la plancha o rebozada, escalopines y albóndigas.</p><p class="paragraph">Miku no es ni alta cocina ni baja.
