کلینیکل اینڈرکرینولوجی اینڈ میٹابولز میں شائع ہونے والی <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20151228040509/http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/601271/Antibiotics-clue-raised-risk-developing-diabetes-research-finds">تحقیق</a> میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ اس بات کے شواہد ملے ہیں کہ ذیابیطس اور ڈاکٹروں کی تجویز کردہ ادویات کے درمیان واضح تعلق موجود ہے۔</p><p>تحقیق میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ گزشتہ 15 سال کے دوران 5 بار اینٹی بایوٹکس ادویات کا استعمال ذیابیطس ٹائپ ٹو میں مبتلا ہونے کا امکان 53 فیصد تک بڑھا سکتا ہے۔</p><p>تحقیق میں یہ بات بھی سامنے آئی ہے کہ بیکٹریا یا وائرس کے لیے زیادہ موثر اینٹی بایوٹکس ادویات کا استعمال ذیابیطس کا خطرہ بڑھاتا ہے۔</p><p>محقق ڈاکٹر کرسٹین میککلسن کے مطابق تحقیق میں دریافت کیا گیا ہے کہ گزشتہ 15 سال کے دوران زیادہ مقدار میں اینٹی بایوٹکس ادویات کا استعمال کرنے والے افراد میں ذیابیطس ٹائپ ٹو کا مرض زیادہ پایا گیا۔</p><p>ڈنمارک سے تعلق رکھنے والے محقق کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ اس حوالے سے مزید تحقیق کی ضرورت ہے کیونکہ ابھی پوری طرح تصدیق نہیں کی جاسکتی کہ یہ ادویات ذیابیطس کو بڑھانے کا باعث بنتی ہیں۔</p><p>خیال رہے کہ گزشتہ 60 برسوں کے دوران اینٹی بایوٹکس ادویات کو مختلف انفیکشنز کے علاج کے لیے استعمال کیا جارہا ہے۔</p><p>محققین کے مطابق اگرچہ ہم پورے یقین سے تو نہیں کہہ سکتے مگر تحقیق کے نتائج میں یہ امکانات سامنے آئے ہیں کہ اینٹی بایوٹکس سے ذیابیطس ٹائپ ٹو کا خطرہ بڑھتا ہے جوکہ اس وقت عالمی سطح پر عظیم ترین چیلنج ہے۔</p><p>ان کاکہنا تھا کہ اس حوالے شوگر میٹابولزم پر ان ادویات کے طویل المعیاد
