She is the caldron and we are the meat!’ <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>Therefore prophesy upon them! Prophesy, son of man!”<p> <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>And The Spirit of LORD JEHOVAH fell upon me, and he said to me: “Say, ‘thus says THE LORD OF LORDS: in this way you have loved, children of Israel, and the thoughts of your spirit, I know them. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>You have multiplied your slain ones in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>Because of this, thus says THE LORD OF LORDS: your slain ones whom you cast within her, those are the meat, and she is the pot, and I bring you forth from inside her <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>You were afraid of the sword, and the sword I shall bring upon you, says THE LORD OF LORDS <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And I shall bring you out from within her, and I shall deliver you into the hand of foreigners, and I shall execute judgments of you. <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>By the sword you shall fall and upon the borders of Israel I shall judge you, and you shall know that I AM LORD JEHOVAH <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>And she will not be the pot for you and you will not be meat in it, and upon the borders of Israel I shall judge you <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>And you shall know that I AM LORD JEHOVAH, for you did not walk in my commandments and you have not done my judgments, and you have done according to the judgments of the Gentiles that are around you’”<p> <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And when I prophesied, Palatiah son of Beniah died, and I fell on my face, and I cried out in a loud voice and I said, “Ah, LORD OF LORDS, do you make an end of the remnant of Israel?”<p> <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>And the answer of LORD JEHOVAH was upon me, saying: <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>“Son of man, your brethren, the men of your captivity and all of the house of Israel shall be consumed, for the inhabitants of Jerusalem said to them: ‘Be far removed from LORD JEHOVAH, for the land is given to us for an inheritance!’ <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>Because of this, thus says THE LORD OF LORDS: ‘I shall drive them out among the Gentiles, and I shall scatter them in the Earth, and I shall be to them for a little sanctuary in the lands to which they went’ <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>Because of this, thus says THE LORD OF LORDS: ‘I shall gather you from the nations, and I shall bring you out from the lands to which you were scattered, and I shall give to you the land of Israel <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>And they shall enter it and they shall remove all its idols and all its uncleanness from it <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>And I shall give them a new heart, and I shall put a new spirit into them, and I shall remove the heart of stone from their flesh, and I shall give them a heart of flesh <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>And they shall walk in my commandments, and they shall keep my judgments and they shall do them, and they shall be to me a people, and I shall be God to them <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/11-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>For into the mind of their idols and of their abominations their heart has gone.
