As most can imagine, it was hard to stay away after just one sip.</p><p>I initially started this tea blog in 2011 so I could have a place to share my writing that was created with help from an inspirational cup of tea by my side. Since then, I have learned so much about the beverage and I have been making this blog become my own little home of tea culture that I am happy to share with the world. My palate has changed immensely since I first started indulging in tea. When I was younger I used to talk about always wanting to open up a tea shop and bakery. If you ever watched the show What I Liked About You, the bakery in the newer episodes is what I always imagined what mine would look like. My love for tea was still growing then but I knew I wanted tea to be a huge part of it and I wanted to name it The Cup of Life, because that’s exactly what I believe tea to be. Fast forward a few years, I was looking at starting a new blog, strictly tea related, and I thought I would name it what I wanted to name my future tea shop and here we are.</p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Do you still want to own a tea shop one day?</h3><p style="text-align: left;">I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I don’t want my tea profession to go into that direction. I like working with other tea companies. I like writing about tea and I really, really love sharing tea moments with others. Sometimes I do still think that maybe when I’m older a fun tea shop and bakery would be nice. So, I’m keeping my options open!</p><h3 style="text-align: left;">What is your favourite tea?</h3><p style="text-align: left;">This is the hardest question to answer, ever. Yet, I’m also responsible for asking people this same question, too. It’s difficult to answer not only because I have a lot of teas I love, but also because my favourites change regularly. I would say that I favour a lot of roasted oolongs lately, though. And if I am selecting a favourite tea based on my connection with it, I would say Darjeeling as it was the first high-quality loose leaf tea I tried and made me want to explore more.</p><p>Want to learn more about me and my relationship with tea?
