(AIP)</h4> <p>An Information Package, consisting of the Content Information and the associated Preservation Description Information (PDI), which is preserved within an OAIS.<br /> Package whose Content Information is not further broken down into other Content Information components, each of which has its own complete Preservation Description Information. It can be viewed as an 'atomic' AIP.
