The nature of the conference is international and can be written in the language of your choice as long as a translation is provided in Spanish and English, in which case it will be: Young Researchers in Archeology Conference followed also by the year of the edition in numerical format.</li> <li>Publication of a book of the Conference.</li> <li>Candidates for the organization of the next edition of the JIA must be presented at the end of the current JIA in a public event and as part of the scientific program of the conference. </li> <li>Institution cannot be repeated in consecutive years.</li> </ul> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">Evaluation</mark></strong></h2> <p>The Scientific Committee will decide who will organize the JIA each year with 50% of the votes together with the public, which will represent the other 50%. Points that will be valued in the candidatures for the organization of the JIA:</p> <ol class="wp-block-list"> <li><strong>Scientific viability of the proposal</strong><br>Those applications that present demonstrable scientific quality in their program proposal will be positively valued. Originality and continuity in the critical line and promotion of debate will also be taken into account.</li> <li><strong>Logistical-organizational feasibility of the proposal</strong><br>Those applications that present demonstrable quality and capacity for the organization at the logistical and economic level of the conference will be positively valued. In this regard, the following points are important when selecting a proposal:</li> </ol> <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Provision of facilities to carry out the Conferences (auditorium, classrooms, etc.) equipped with the appropriate infrastructure (screens, presentation cannons, etc.).</li> <li>Coherent indicative general economic budget and possible realistic financing lines.</li> <li>Location of the town/headquarters of the Conference with easy and economical access</li> <li>Economical registration fee: with an indicative fee of about 50 euros with the right to publish.</li> <li>Ability to disseminate incoming JIAs (especially regarding web resources).</li> <li>Organizational experience of the group, collective or organization presenting the candidacy.</li> <li>Proposals that come from groups expressly established for the celebration of JIAs and that intend to remain established once the Conference ends will also be highly valued.<br></li> </ul> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">Acceptance</mark></strong></h2> <p>To submit candidatures to the JIA, a dossier in *.pdf format with the candidacy proposal must be submitted to the Scientific Committee of the Conference (<mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">jia.comitecientifico@gmail.com</mark>). The deadline to submit said dossier will be 15 working days before the start of the conference.</p> <p>In the following week, the Scientific Committee will organize all the dossiers received and send them to the Organizing Committee, so that it can proceed to their online publication on the JIA website one week before the development of the Conference, thus remaining guaranteed access to the proposals for all JIA participants.</p> <p>During the Conference, the candidatures will be presented publicly, on the date that will be reserved for this within the scientific program. In this regard, it is preferable that the date chosen be the last day of the JIA and that at least one hour be reserved for the presentation of the different proposals. If there are several, the order of presentation will be chosen by draw.</p> <p>As indicated above, the decision to evaluate and select the candidatures to organize future JIAs falls on the Scientific Committee and the attending public. The latter may vote on the proposal that seems most appropriate in accordance with the aforementioned points of two<br>possible ways: online or in the JIAs themselves through ballots that will be made available to them. In any case, the Organizing Committee of each session will decide the way in which this vote will be carried out depending on the availability of means.</p> <p>The final decision will be communicated before the end of the Conference. This communication will be carried out together with the ceremony of handing over the JIA seal, between the outgoing Organizing Committee and the Organizing Committee of the future edition. At the same event, the new constitution of the Scientific Committee will be made public, from which the two old members must have already left to make way for the two new ones.</p> <div
