who is able to make war against him? <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/13-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>And there was given him a mouth speaking great and blasphemous <i>things,</i> and power was given him to make war forty two months. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/13-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven.<p> <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/13-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>And he was permitted to make war upon the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over every tribe, and tongue, and nation. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/13-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>So that all who dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/13-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>If any one hath an ear, let him hear. Whosoever leadeth into captivity shall go away into captivity: <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/13-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>and he, that killeth with the sword, shall be slain with the sword.
