The journal aims to contribute to the process of advent of novel methods of detection, amelioration and most importantly prevention of rheumatologic diseases.</p> <p>Rheumatism: Open Access can be of interest to professional organization of Rheumatologists, Health Professionals, Clinical/Medical specialists, Health practitioners, Orthopaedic surgeons, Immunologists, Students, Researchers, etc.</p> <p>All submitted manuscripts undergo a double blind peer review process before being accepted for publication. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Rheumatism: Open Access or outside experts. Publication of all citable manuscripts is subject to the approval of two independent reviewers followed by the editor’s approval. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the online tracking system, hopefully to publication.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Rheumatic Diseases</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Rheumatic diseases are observed by inflammation, pain, warmth and stiffness that affect the joints and muscles. Systemic sclerosis is characterised by vasomotor disturbances, fibrosis, subsequent atrophy of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, and internal organs (e.g., alimentary tract, lungs, heart, kidney, CNS) and immunologic disturbances. There are two types of systemic sclerosis localized and systemic scleroderma.
