out largely following the philosophy applied to the Science Verification of the VLT instruments (see the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20210302233439/http://www.eso.org/science/vltsv/svdoc.pdf">VLT Science Verification Policy and Procedures</a> document as reference).</p> <p>MAD SD runs took place in November 2007 (SD1), January 2008 (SD2) and August 2008 (SD3).</p> <p>The MAD SD Team is chaired by J. Melnick and includes the following team members: E. Marchetti (INS), P. Amico (PSO), S. D'Odorico (INS), R. Gilmozzi (TSD), J. Kolb (INS), M. Sterzik (PSO), and Y.
