research on Lorenz ratios for graphene and nonrelativistic systems has been studied to identify their Wiedemann-Franz law violation domain. Fermi energy and temperature are the main governing parameters for deciding the values of the Lorenz ratio, which is basically thermal conductivity divided by electrical conductivity times temperature times Lorenz number. Metals as three-dimensional nonrelativistic electron gas are located at higher Fermi-energy by temperature domain, where Lorenz ratio remains one. Hence, they obey the Wiedemann-Franz law. By creating higher doping in a two-dimensional graphene system, one can again reach a higher Fermi-energy by temperature domain and get a constant Lorenz ratio. For both graphene and nonrelativistic systems, the Lorenz ratio goes below one if we go lower Fermi-energy by temperature domain, which is possible for the graphene system by decreasing the doping concentration. Experimentally observed greater than one Lorenz ratio in this lower Fermi-energy by temperature domain or Dirac Fluid domain indicates that nonfluid expressions of Lorenz ratio should be replaced by fluidtype expressions. We have noticed a divergent trend of Lorenz ratio in the Dirac Fluid domain using its fluid-type expression, and it matches the trend of experimental data. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=graphene" title="graphene">graphene</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lorentz%20ratio" title=" Lorentz ratio"> Lorentz ratio</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=specific%20heat" title=" specific heat"> specific heat</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wiedeann-Franz%20law" title=" Wiedeann-Franz law"> Wiedeann-Franz law</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/190245/wiedemann-franz-law-violation-domain-for-graphene-and-nonrelativistic-systems" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/190245.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">32</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">38</span> Biogas from Cover Crops and Field Residues: Effects on Soil, Water, Climate and Ecological Footprint</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Manfred%20Szerencsits">Manfred Szerencsits</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Christine%20Weinberger"> Christine Weinberger</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Maximilian%20Kuderna"> Maximilian Kuderna</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Feichtinger"> Franz Feichtinger</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Eva%20Erhart"> Eva Erhart</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Stephan%20Maier"> Stephan Maier</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Cover or catch crops have beneficial effects for soil, water, erosion, etc. If harvested, they also provide feedstock for biogas without competition for arable land in regions, where only one main crop can be produced per year. On average gross energy yields of approx. 1300 m&sup3; methane (CH<sub>4</sub>) ha<sup>-1</sup> can be expected from 4.5 tonnes (t) of cover crop dry matter (DM) in Austria. Considering the total energy invested from cultivation to compression for biofuel use a net energy yield of about 1000 m&sup3; CH<sub>4</sub> ha<sup>-1</sup> is remaining. With the straw of grain maize or Corn Cob Mix (CCM) similar energy yields can be achieved. In comparison to catch crops remaining on the field as green manure or to complete fallow between main crops the effects on soil, water and climate can be improved if cover crops are harvested without soil compaction and digestate is returned to the field in an amount equivalent to cover crop removal. In this way, the risk of nitrate leaching can be reduced approx. by 25% in comparison to full fallow. The risk of nitrous oxide emissions may be reduced up to 50% by contrast with cover crops serving as green manure. The effects on humus content and erosion are similar or better than those of cover crops used as green manure when the same amount of biomass was produced. With higher biomass production the positive effects increase even if cover crops are harvested and the only digestate is brought back to the fields. The ecological footprint of arable farming can be reduced by approx. 50% considering the substitution of natural gas with CH<sub>4</sub> produced from cover crops. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=biogas" title="biogas">biogas</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cover%20crops" title=" cover crops"> cover crops</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=catch%20crops" title=" catch crops"> catch crops</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=land%20use%20competition" title=" land use competition"> land use competition</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sustainable%20agriculture" title=" sustainable agriculture"> sustainable agriculture</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/20329/biogas-from-cover-crops-and-field-residues-effects-on-soil-water-climate-and-ecological-footprint" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/20329.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">542</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">37</span> Formulation and in vitro Evaluation of Transdermal Delivery of Articaine</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dinakaran%20Venkatachalam">Dinakaran Venkatachalam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Paul%20Chambers"> Paul Chambers</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kavitha%20Kongara"> Kavitha Kongara</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Preet%20Singh"> Preet Singh</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The objective of this study is to formulate different topical preparations containing articaine and to investigate their permeation through goat skin. Initially, articaine and its hydrochloride salt were compared for in vitro permeation using Franz cell model. Goat skin samples were collected after euthanizing male goat kids purchased from the dairy goat farmers. Subcutaneous fat was removed and the skin was mounted on the donor chamber (orifice area 1.00 cm²) and drugs were applied onto the epidermis. Phosphate buffer saline (pH 7.4) was used to maintain sink condition in the receptor chamber (8 ml) of the Franz cell. Samples (0.4 ml) were collected at various intervals over 24 hours after each sampling equal volume of PBS was replaced in the receptor chamber. Articaine in the collected samples were quantified using LC/MS. The results suggested that articaine free base permeates better than its hydrochloride salt through goat skin. This study results support the fact that local anesthetics in its base form are lipophilic and thus penetrates faster through cell membranes than their salts. Later, articaine free base was formulated either using ethanol and octyl salicylate or dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as penetration enhancers and was compared for in vitro permeation. The transdermal flux of articaine in the formulation containing DMSO was approximately 3.8 times higher than that of the formulation containing ethanol and octyl salicylate. Further studies to evaluate the local anesthetic efficacy of the topical formulation containing articaine for dermal anesthesia in animals have been planned. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=articaine" title="articaine">articaine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dermal%20anesthesia" title=" dermal anesthesia"> dermal anesthesia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=local%20anesthetic" title=" local anesthetic"> local anesthetic</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transdermal" title=" transdermal"> transdermal</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/80319/formulation-and-in-vitro-evaluation-of-transdermal-delivery-of-articaine" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/80319.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">237</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">36</span> Optimal Trajectories for Highly Automated Driving</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Christian%20Rathgeber">Christian Rathgeber</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Winkler"> Franz Winkler</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiaoyu%20Kang"> Xiaoyu Kang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steffen%20M%C3%BCller"> Steffen Müller</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this contribution two approaches for calculating optimal trajectories for highly automated vehicles are presented and compared. However, findings considering effects of task-interrelations are limited (especially, in combined motor and cognitive tasks). Therefore, we aimed at developing a measurement system in order to analyse interrelation effects of cognitive and motor tasks. On the one hand, the present study demonstrates the applicability of the measurement system and on the other hand first results regarding a systematization of different task combinations are shown. The selection of suitable partners has particular importance in the formation of horizontal cooperation. Up until now, literature mainly focused on general applicable methods for the identification of cooperation partners without a closer examination of the specific area where the cooperation takes place. Thus, specific criteria as a basis for the partner selection in the field of logistics cooperation are missing. To close this scientific gap, an explorative research approach is used to answer the open question of the article. To collect the needed criteria, a qualitative experiment with 20 participants from 16 companies was done. Within this workshop, general criteria, as well as sector-specific requirements, have been identified which were integrated in a partner selection model. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=horizontal%20cooperation" title="horizontal cooperation">horizontal cooperation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=logistics%20cooperation%20partnering%20criteria" title=" logistics cooperation partnering criteria"> logistics cooperation partnering criteria</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=partner%20selection" title=" partner selection"> partner selection</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/15860/partner-selection-for-horizontal-logistic-cooperation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/15860.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">426</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">32</span> ”Bull in the Boat” - An Interpretation for One of the Depictions of Mithraic Iconography</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Attila%20Simon">Attila Simon</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Since the publication of Franz Cumont, there have been countless works on the mysteries of Mithras and the iconography of Mithraic, but there are elements that have received less attention in research. Most of the works on the subject deal with the bull-killing-motif, whose astronomical significance has been well proven by several eminent scholars. Among the iconographic elements that survive in the reliefs and frescoes of Mithras, there are several that have not yet been clearly interpreted. These include the depiction of a bull in the boat, which occurred mainly in the Danubian provinces. Using CIMRM, one collected the cases that contain the motif under study, created a database of them grouped by location, and then used a comparative method to compare the representations adjacent to the motif. The aim of this research is to find an explanation for this neglected motif in the iconography of Mithras and to try to map its origins. The interpretation may be given to a mithraic representation for which to the author’s best knowledge no explanation has been given so far, and the question may be reopened for discussion. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=roman%20history" title="roman history">roman history</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=religion" title=" religion"> religion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mithras" title=" Mithras"> Mithras</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=iconography" title=" iconography"> iconography</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/157175/bull-in-the-boat-an-interpretation-for-one-of-the-depictions-of-mithraic-iconography" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/157175.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">120</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">31</span> Simulations of High-Intensity, Thermionic Electron Guns for Electron Beam Thermal Processing Including Effects of Space Charge Compensation </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=O.%20Hinrichs">O. These techniques need a high-intensity continuous electron beam that defocuses itself due to high space charge forces. A proper beam transport throughout the magnetic focusing system can be ensured by a space charge compensation via residual gas ions. The different pressure stages in the EB gun cause various degrees of compensation. A numerical model was installed to simulate realistic charge distributions within the beam by using CST-Particle Studio code. We will present current status of beam dynamic simulations. This contribution will focus on the creation of space charge ions and their influence on beam and gun components. Furthermore, the beam transport in the gun will be shown for different beam parameters. The electron source allows to produce beams with currents of 3 A to 15 A and energies of 40 keV to 45 keV. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=beam%20dynamic%20simulation" title="beam dynamic simulation">beam dynamic simulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=space%20charge%20compensation" title=" space charge compensation"> space charge compensation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thermionic%20electron%20source" title=" thermionic electron source"> thermionic electron source</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=EB%20melting" title=" EB melting"> EB melting</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=EB%20thermal%20processing" title=" EB thermal processing "> EB thermal processing </a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/106185/simulations-of-high-intensity-thermionic-electron-guns-for-electron-beam-thermal-processing-including-effects-of-space-charge-compensation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/106185.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">336</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">30</span> Development and Characterization of Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles of Quercetin in Skin Cancer</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Khusboo%20Agrawal">Khusboo Agrawal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=S.%20Saraf"> S. However, its topical use is limited due to its unfavorable physicochemical properties. The present study was aimed to evaluate the potential of mesoporous silica nanoparticles as topical carrier system for quercetin delivery. Complexes of quercetin with mesoporous silica was prepared with different weight ratios and characterized by thermo gravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, high resolution TEM, FT-IR spectroscopy, zeta potential measurements and differential scanning calorimetry The protective effect of this vehicle on UV-induced degradation of the quercetin was investigated revealing a certain positive influence of the inclusion on the photostability over time. Epidermal accumulation and transdermal permeation of this molecule were ex vivo evaluated by using Franz diffusion cells. The immobilization of Quercetin in mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) increased the stability without undermining the antioxidant efficacy. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cancer" title="cancer">cancer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MSNs" title=" MSNs"> MSNs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quercetin" title=" quercetin"> quercetin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=topical%20delivery" title=" topical delivery"> topical delivery</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/47665/development-and-characterization-of-mesoporous-silica-nanoparticles-of-quercetin-in-skin-cancer" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/47665.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">308</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">29</span> Alternative Coating Compositions by Thermal Arc Spraying to Improve the Contact Heat Treatment in Press Hardening</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Philipp%20Burger">Philipp Burger</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jonas%20Sommer"> Jonas Sommer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Haneen%20Daoud"> Haneen Daoud</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Hilmer"> Franz Hilmer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Uwe%20Glatzel"> Uwe Glatzel</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Press-hardened structural components made of coated high-strength steel are an essential part of the automotive industry when it comes to weight reduction, safety, and durability. Alternative heat treatment processes, such as contact heating, have been developed to improve the efficiency of this process. However, contact heating of the steel sheets often results in cracking within the Al-Si-coated layer. Therefore, this paper will address the development of alternative coating compositions based on Al-Si-X, suitable for contact heating. For this purpose, robot-assisted thermal arc spray was applied to coat the high-strength steel sheets. This ensured high reproducibility as well as effectiveness. The influence of the coating parameters and the variation of the nozzle geometry on the microstructure of the developed coatings will be discussed. Finally, the surface and mechanical properties after contact heating and press hardening will be presented. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=press%20hardening" title="press hardening">press hardening</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hot%20stamping" title=" hot stamping"> hot stamping</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thermal%20spraying" title=" thermal spraying"> thermal spraying</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=arc%20spraying" title=" arc spraying"> arc spraying</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=coating%20compositions" title=" coating compositions"> coating compositions</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159998/alternative-coating-compositions-by-thermal-arc-spraying-to-improve-the-contact-heat-treatment-in-press-hardening" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159998.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">94</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">28</span> Design, Development and Characterization of Pioglitazone Transdermal Drug Delivery System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dwarakanadha%20Reddy%20Peram">Dwarakanadha Reddy Peram</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=D.%20Swarnalatha"> D. The prepared formulations were evaluated for different physicochemical characteristics like thickness, folding endurance, drug content, percentage moisture absorption, percentage moisture loss, percentage elongation break test and weight uniformity. The diffusion studies were performed by using modified Franz diffusion cells. The result of dissolution studies shows that formulation, F3 (Olibanum with 50 mg) showed maximum release of 99.95 % in 12hrs, whereas F1 (Olibanum and EC backing membrane) showed minimum release of 93.65% in 12 hr. Based on the drug release and physicochemical values obtained the formulation F3 is considered as an optimized formulation which shows higher percentage of drug release of 99.95 % in 12 hr. The developed transdermal patches increase the therapeutic efficacy and reduced toxic effect of pioglitazone. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pioglitazone" title="pioglitazone">pioglitazone</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=olibanum" title=" olibanum"> olibanum</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transdermal%20drug%20delivery%20system" title=" transdermal drug delivery system"> transdermal drug delivery system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=drug%20release%20percantage" title=" drug release percantage"> drug release percantage</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85414/design-development-and-characterization-of-pioglitazone-transdermal-drug-delivery-system" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85414.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">208</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">27</span> Stability Analysis and Controller Design of Further Development of Miniaturized Mössbauer Spectrometer II for Space Applications with Focus on the Extended Lyapunov Method – Part I –</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammad%20Beyki">Mohammad Beyki</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Justus%20Pawlak"> Justus Pawlak</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Robert%20Patzke"> Robert Patzke</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Renz"> Franz Renz</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In the context of planetary exploration, the MIMOS II (miniaturized Mössbauer spectrometer) serves as a proven and reliable measuring instrument. The transmission behaviour of the electronics in the Mössbauer spectroscopy is newly developed and optimized. For this purpose, the overall electronics is split into three parts. This elaboration deals exclusively with the first part of the signal chain for the evaluation of photons in experiments with gamma radiation. Parallel to the analysis of the electronics, a new method for the stability consideration of linear and non-linear systems is presented: The extended method of Lyapunov’s stability criteria. The design helps to weigh advantages and disadvantages against other simulated circuits in order to optimize the MIMOS II for the terestric and extraterestric measurment. Finally, after stability analysis, the controller design according to Ackermann is performed, achieving the best possible optimization of the output variable through a skillful pole assignment. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=M%C3%B6ssbauer%20spectroscopy" title="Mössbauer spectroscopy">Mössbauer spectroscopy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=electronic%20signal%20amplifier" title=" electronic signal amplifier"> electronic signal amplifier</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=light%20processing%20technology" title=" light processing technology"> light processing technology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=photocurrent" title=" photocurrent"> photocurrent</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=trans-impedance%20amplifier" title=" trans-impedance amplifier"> trans-impedance amplifier</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=extended%20Lyapunov%20method" title=" extended Lyapunov method"> extended Lyapunov method</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/177743/stability-analysis-and-controller-design-of-further-development-of-miniaturized-mossbauer-spectrometer-ii-for-space-applications-with-focus-on-the-extended-lyapunov-method-part-i" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/177743.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">99</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">26</span> Aerodynamics of Spherical Combat Platform Levitation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Aelina%20Franz">Aelina Franz</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In recent years, the scientific community has witnessed a paradigm shift in the exploration of unconventional levitation methods, particularly in the domain of spherical combat platforms. This paper explores aerodynamics and levitational dynamics inherent in these spheres by examining interactions at the quantum level. Our research unravels the nuanced aerodynamic phenomena governing the levitation of spherical combat platforms. Through an analysis of the quantum fluid dynamics surrounding these spheres, we reveal the crucial interactions between air resistance, surface irregularities, and the quantum fluctuations that influence their levitational behavior. Our findings challenge conventional understanding, providing a perspective on the aerodynamic forces at play during the levitation of spherical combat platforms. Furthermore, we propose design modifications and control strategies informed by both classical aerodynamics and quantum information processing principles. These advancements not only enhance the stability and maneuverability of the combat platforms but also open new avenues for exploration in the interdisciplinary realm of engineering and quantum information sciences. This paper aims to contribute to levitation technologies and their applications in the field of spherical combat platforms. We anticipate that our work will stimulate further research to create a deeper understanding of aerodynamics and quantum phenomena in unconventional levitation systems. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spherical%20combat%20platforms" title="spherical combat platforms">spherical combat platforms</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=levitation%20technologies" title=" levitation technologies"> levitation technologies</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aerodynamics" title=" aerodynamics"> aerodynamics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=maneuverable%20platforms" title=" maneuverable platforms"> maneuverable platforms</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/183818/aerodynamics-of-spherical-combat-platform-levitation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/183818.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">57</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">25</span> Development of Open Source Geospatial Certification Model Based on Geospatial Technology Competency Model</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tanzeel%20Ur%20Rehman%20Khan">Tanzeel Ur Rehman Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Josef%20Behr"> Franz Josef Behr</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Phillip%20Davis"> Phillip Davis</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Open source geospatial certifications are needed in geospatial technology education and industry sector. In parallel with proprietary software, free and open source software solutions become important in geospatial technology research and play an important role for the growth of the geospatial industry. ESRI, GISCI (GIS Certification Institute), ASPRS (American Society of Photogrammetry and remote sensing), and Meta spatial are offering certifications on proprietary and open source software. These are portfolio and competency based certifications depending on GIS Body of Knowledge (Bok). The analysis of these certification approaches might lead to the discovery of some gaps in them and will open a new way to develop certifications related to the geospatial open source (OS). This new certification will investigate the different geospatial competencies according to open source tools that help to identify geospatial professionals and strengthen the geospatial academic content. The goal of this research is to introduce a geospatial certification model based on geospatial technology competency model (GTCM).The developed certification will not only incorporate the importance of geospatial education and production of the geospatial competency-based workforce in universities and companies (private or public) as well as describe open source solutions with tools and technology. Indonesia’s Batak Toba, an indigenous people group has experienced such appropriation. Bataknese has rich cultural heritage and oral traditions. Their cultural symbols originated from their folklores namely myths, legends, and folktales. This research used both oral traditions and cultural symbols of Batak Toba for a comparative analysis of their ancient and modern practices. This is anchored on Franz Boas’ Cultural Relativism in analyzing their five common cultural symbols. Further, it also utilized Stith Thompson’s Motif-Index to determine the common motif evident in their ten folklores. Ten Batak Toba key respondents provided information in this study. Some informants were also featured in the 20-minute documentary of this study. Thus, the findings were: 1) Traditional customs such as weddings, burial, and reburial are still observed using their cultural symbols; 2) The five most common cultural symbols are Ulos Ragidup, Sigale Gale, Rumah Bolon, Lake Toba, and Gondang; and 3) Batak culture values animals such as buffalo, lizard, and goldfish since they have ancient beliefs of mythical creatures; In conclusion, this study proved that there is a clear connection between the tribe’s oral traditions and cultural symbols. With these findings, this study recommends that elder Bataks teach younger Batak to be immersed in the cultural practices and to incorporate their traditional practices in their modern events. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=batak%20toba" title="batak toba">batak toba</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cultural%20appropriation" title=" cultural appropriation"> cultural appropriation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=motif-index" title=" motif-index"> motif-index</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=oral%20tradition" title=" oral tradition"> oral tradition</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cultural%20emblems" title=" cultural emblems"> cultural emblems</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/167154/cultural-approach-to-batak-toba-folklore" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/167154.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">106</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">23</span> Occurrence of Antibiotics of Veterinary Use in Water of the Lake Titicaca: Its Environmental Implication and Human Health</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Zirena%20Vilca">Franz Zirena Vilca</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nestor%20Cahui%20Galarza"> Nestor Cahui Galarza</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Walter%20Alejandro%20Zamalloa%20Cuba"> Walter Alejandro Zamalloa Cuba</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Edith%20Tello%20Palma"> Edith Tello Palma</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Teofilo%20Donaires%20Flores"> Teofilo Donaires Flores</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Valdemar%20Luiz%20Tornisielo"> Valdemar Luiz Tornisielo</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The production of rainbow trout in the Lake Titicaca represents an important economic activity for Peru. The city of Puno is responsible for 83% of this production, so the use of antibiotics within the aquaculture system is not alien to this reality. Meanwhile, the waters of Lake Titicaca represent an important source for the supply of drinking water for 80% of the population of the Puno city. In this paper, twelve antibiotics for veterinary use were monitored in water samples during two seasons: dry (July 2015) and rainy (February 2016), water samples from trout production systems, near the water catching point in the lake and drinking water in the city house of Puno were considered. The samples were analyzed using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry and solid online phase extraction (On-line SPE-LC-MS/MS), all samples analyzed showed concentrations of Ciprofloxacin up to 65.2 ng L⁻¹ at the rainy season. On the other hand, 63% of water samples from the dry season and 36 % from the rainy season showed Chlortetracycline up to 8.7 and 6.1 ng L⁻¹, respectively. The presence of residues of veterinary antibiotics in drinking water means a serious health risk for 80% of the population of Puno since all these people are supplied from this source. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=chromatography" title="chromatography">chromatography</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=DNA%20damage" title=" DNA damage"> DNA damage</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environmental%20risk" title=" environmental risk"> environmental risk</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=water%20pollution" title=" water pollution"> water pollution</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/94507/occurrence-of-antibiotics-of-veterinary-use-in-water-of-the-lake-titicaca-its-environmental-implication-and-human-health" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/94507.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">230</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">22</span> Teaching Tools for Web Processing Services</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rashid%20Javed">Rashid Javed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hardy%20Lehmkuehler"> Hardy Lehmkuehler</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Josef-Behr"> Franz Josef-Behr</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Web Processing Services (WPS) have up growing concern in geoinformation research. However, teaching about them is difficult because of the generally complex circumstances of their use. They limit the possibilities for hands- on- exercises on Web Processing Services. To support understanding however a Training Tools Collection was brought on the way at University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart (HFT). It is limited to the scope of Geostatistical Interpolation of sample point data where different algorithms can be used like IDW, Nearest Neighbor etc. The Tools Collection aims to support understanding of the scope, definition and deployment of Web Processing Services. For example it is necessary to characterize the input of Interpolation by the data set, the parameters for the algorithm and the interpolation results (here a grid of interpolated values is assumed). This paper reports on first experiences using a pilot installation. This was intended to find suitable software interfaces for later full implementations and conclude on potential user interface characteristics. Experiences were made with Deegree software, one of several Services Suites (Collections). Being strictly programmed in Java, Deegree offers several OGC compliant Service Implementations that also promise to be of benefit for the project. The mentioned parameters for a WPS were formalized following the paradigm that any meaningful component will be defined in terms of suitable standards. E.g. the data output can be defined as a GML file. But, the choice of meaningful information pieces and user interactions is not free but partially determined by the selected WPS Processing Suite. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=deegree" title="deegree">deegree</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=interpolation" title=" interpolation"> interpolation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=IDW" title=" IDW"> IDW</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=web%20processing%20service%20%28WPS%29" title=" web processing service (WPS)"> web processing service (WPS)</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/36347/teaching-tools-for-web-processing-services" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/36347.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">355</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">21</span> Sun Protection Factor (SPF) Determination of Sericin Cream and Niosomal Gel</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Farzad%20Doostishoar">Farzad Doostishoar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abbas%20Pardakhty"> Abbas Pardakhty</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdolreza%20Hassanzadeh"> Abdolreza Hassanzadeh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sudeh%20salarpour"> Sudeh salarpour</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Elham%20Sharif"> Elham Sharif</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Background: Sericin is a protein extracted from silk and has antioxidant, antimicrobial, antineoplastic, wound healing and moisturizing properties. Sericin was dissolved in normal saline and the lipid hydration was carried out at 60°C and the niosomes were incorporated in a Carbomer gel base. A W/O cream was also prepared and the release of sericin was evaluated by using Franz diffusion cell. Particle size analysis, sericin encapsulation efficiency measurement, morphological studies and stability evaluation were done in niosomal formulations. SPF was calculated by using Transpore tape in vitro method for both formulations. Results: Niosomes had high stability during 6 months storage at 4-8°C. The mean volume diameter of niosomes was less than 7 µm which is ideal for sustained release of drugs in topical formulations. The SPF of niosomal gel was 25 and higher than sericin cream with a diffusion based release pattern of active material. Conclusion: Sericin can be successfully entrapped in niosomes with sustained release pattern and relatively high SPF. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sericin" title="sericin">sericin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=niosomes" title=" niosomes"> niosomes</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sun%20protection%20factor" title=" sun protection factor"> sun protection factor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cream" title=" cream"> cream</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=gel" title=" gel"> gel</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/25326/sun-protection-factor-spf-determination-of-sericin-cream-and-niosomal-gel" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/25326.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">500</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">20</span> Research Action Fields at the Nexus of Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Management: Findings from Practitioner Focus Group Workshops</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Brandtner%20Patrick">Brandtner Patrick</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Staberhofer%20Franz"> Staberhofer Franz</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Logistics and Supply Chain Management are of crucial importance for organisational success. In the era of Digitalization, several implications and improvement potentials for these domains arise, which at the same time could lead to decreased competitiveness and could endanger long-term company success if ignored or neglected. However, empirical research on the issue of Digitalization and benefits purported to it by practitioners is scarce and mainly focused on single technologies or separate, isolated Supply Chain blocks as e.g. distribution logistics or procurement only. The current paper applies a holistic focus group approach to elaborate practitioner use cases at the nexus of the concepts of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Digitalization. In the course of three focus group workshops with over 45 participants from more than 20 organisations, a comprehensive set of benefit entitlements and areas for improvement in terms of applying digitalization to SCM is developed. The main results of the paper indicate the relevance of Digitalization being realized in practice. In the form of seventeen concrete research action fields, the benefit entitlements are aggregated and transformed into potential starting points for future research projects in this area. The main contribution of this paper is an empirically grounded basis for future research projects and an overview of actual research action fields from practitioners&rsquo; point of view. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=digital%20supply%20chain" title="digital supply chain">digital supply chain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=digital%20transformation" title=" digital transformation"> digital transformation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=supply%20chain%20management" title=" supply chain management"> supply chain management</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=value%20networks" title=" value networks"> value networks</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/91759/research-action-fields-at-the-nexus-of-digital-transformation-and-supply-chain-management-findings-from-practitioner-focus-group-workshops" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/91759.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">176</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">19</span> Formulation, Evaluation and Statistical Optimization of Transdermal Niosomal Gel of Atenolol</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lakshmi%20Sirisha%20Kotikalapudi">Lakshmi Sirisha Kotikalapudi</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Atenolol, the widely used antihypertensive drug is ionisable and degrades in the acidic environment of the GIT lessening the bioavailability. The optimized formulation also showed high drug retention inside the vesicles over a period of three months at a temperature of 4 °C indicating stability. Niosomes separated as a pellet were dried and incorporated into the hydrogel prepared using chitosan a natural polymer as a gelling agent. The effect of various chemical permeation enhancers was also studied over the gel formulations. The prepared formulations were characterized for viscosity, pH, drug release using Franz diffusion cells, and skin irritation test as well as in-vivo pharmacological activities. The purpose of this study was to compare the permeation of two different formulations of flurbiprofen through the human skin. The first formulation was a solution of flurbiprofen dissolved with polyethylene glycol 3350 (PEG 3350). The second formulation was flurbiprofen encapsulated in poly-ɛ-caprolactone (PɛCL) nanoparticles (NPs), stabilized with poloxamer 188, submitted individually for freeze-drying with PEG 3350 as a cryoprotectant and sterilized by gamma-irradiation. Human skin was obtained from the abdominal region of a healthy patient. The experimental protocol was approved by the Bioethics Committee of Barcelona SCIAS Hospital (Spain), and they obtained the written informed consent forms. After being frozen to -20ºC, the skin samples were cut with a dermatome at 400 µm. The ex vivo permeation study was performed in Franz diffusion cells with a diffusion area of 2.54 cm². Skin samples were placed between two compartment sites, the dermal side in contact with the receptor medium and the epidermis side in contact with the donor chamber to which the formulation was applied. The permeation study was conducted for 24 hours at 32 ± 0.5 °C in accordance with sink conditions. The results were analyzed with an unpaired t-test, and the p-values indicate the formulation with nanoparticles had a higher permeability coefficient, flux, partition parameter, diffusion parameter, and lag time. The company Sauer GmbH developed especially for this application area ultrasonic tool holders working in a frequency range from 15 to 60 kHz and superimpose the common tool movement in the vertical axis. This technique causes a structural weakening in the contact area and facilitates the machining. The possibility of the force reduction for these special materials especially in drilling of carbide with diamond tools up to 30 percent made the authors try to expand the application range of this method. To make the results evaluable, the authors decide to start with existing processes in which the positive influence of the ultrasonic assistance is proven to understand the mechanism. The comparison of a grinding process the Institute use to machine materials mentioned in the beginning and steel could not be more different. In the first case, the authors use tools with geometrically undefined edges. In the second case, the edges are geometrically defined. To get valid results of the tests, the authors decide to investigate two manufacturing methods, drilling and milling. The main target of the investigation is to reduce the cutting force measured with a force measurement platform underneath the workpiece. Concerning to the direction of the ultrasonic assistance, the authors expect lower cutting forces and longer endurance of the tool in the drilling process. To verify the frequencies and the amplitudes an FFT-analysis is performed. It shows the increasing damping depending on the infeed rate of the tool. The reducing of amplitude of the cutting force comes along. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=drilling" title="drilling">drilling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=machining" title=" machining"> machining</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=milling" title=" milling"> milling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ultrasonic" title=" ultrasonic"> ultrasonic</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/69538/analysis-of-the-cutting-force-with-ultrasonic-assisted-manufacturing-of-steel-s235jr" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/69538.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">274</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">16</span> Anton Bruckner’s Requiem in Dm: The Reinterpretation of a Liturgical Genre in the Viennese Romantic Context</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sara%20Ramos%20Contioso">Sara Ramos Contioso</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The premiere of Anton Bruckner's Requiem in Dm, in September 1849, represents a turning point in the composer's creative evolution. This Mass of the Dead, which was dedicated to the memory of his esteemed friend and mentor Franz Sailer, establishes the beginning of a new creative aesthetic in the composer´s production and links its liturgical development, which is contextualized in the monastery of St. Florian, to the use of a range of musicals possibilities that are projected by Bruckner on an orchestral texture with choir and organ. Set on a strict tridentine ritual model, this requiem exemplifies the religious aesthetics of a composer that is committed to the Catholic faith and that also links to its structure the reinterpretation of a religious model that, despite being romantic, shows a strong influence derived from the baroque or the Viennese Classicism language. Consequently, the study responds to the need to show the survival of the Requiem Mass within the romantic context of Vienna. Therefore, it draws on a detailed analysis of the score and the creative context of the composer with the intention of linking the work to the tradition of the genre and also specifying the stylistic particularities of its musical model within a variability of possibilities such as the contrasting precedents of Mozart, Haydn, Cherubini or Berlioz´s requiems. Tradition or modernity, liturgy or concert hall are aesthetic references that will condition the development of the Requiem Mass in the middle of the nineteenth century. In this context, this paper tries to recover Bruckner's Requiem in Dm as a musical model of the romantic ritual of deceased and as a stylistic reference of a creative composition that will condition the development of later liturgical works such as Liszt or DeLange (1868) ones. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=liturgy" title="liturgy">liturgy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=religious%20symbolism" title=" religious symbolism"> religious symbolism</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=requiem" title=" requiem"> requiem</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=romanticism" title=" romanticism"> romanticism</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/63264/anton-bruckners-requiem-in-dm-the-reinterpretation-of-a-liturgical-genre-in-the-viennese-romantic-context" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/63264.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">337</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">15</span> Text Mining of Veterinary Forums for Epidemiological Surveillance Supplementation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Samuel%20Munaf">Samuel Munaf</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kevin%20Swingler"> Kevin Swingler</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Br%C3%BClisauer"> Franz Brülisauer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Anthony%20O%E2%80%99Hare"> Anthony O’Hare</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=George%20Gunn"> George Gunn</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Aaron%20Reeves"> Aaron Reeves</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Web scraping and text mining are popular computer science methods deployed by public health researchers to augment traditional epidemiological surveillance. However, within veterinary disease surveillance, such techniques are still in the early stages of development and have not yet been fully utilised. This study presents an exploration into the utility of incorporating internet-based data to better understand the smallholder farming communities within Scotland by using online text extraction and the subsequent mining of this data. Web scraping of the livestock fora was conducted in conjunction with text mining of the data in search of common themes, words, and topics found within the text. Results from bi-grams and topic modelling uncover four main topics of interest within the data pertaining to aspects of livestock husbandry: feeding, breeding, slaughter, and disposal. These topics were found amongst both the poultry and pig sub-forums. Topic modeling appears to be a useful method of unsupervised classification regarding this form of data, as it has produced clusters that relate to biosecurity and animal welfare. Internet data can be a very effective tool in aiding traditional veterinary surveillance methods, but the requirement for human validation of said data is crucial. This opens avenues of research via the incorporation of other dynamic social media data, namely Twitter and Facebook/Meta, in addition to time series analysis to highlight temporal patterns. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=veterinary%20epidemiology" title="veterinary epidemiology">veterinary epidemiology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=disease%20surveillance" title=" disease surveillance"> disease surveillance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=infodemiology" title=" infodemiology"> infodemiology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=infoveillance" title=" infoveillance"> infoveillance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=smallholding" title=" smallholding"> smallholding</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=social%20media" title=" social media"> social media</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=web%20scraping" title=" web scraping"> web scraping</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sentiment%20analysis" title=" sentiment analysis"> sentiment analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=geolocation" title=" geolocation"> geolocation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=text%20mining" title=" text mining"> text mining</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=NLP" title=" NLP"> NLP</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159869/text-mining-of-veterinary-forums-for-epidemiological-surveillance-supplementation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159869.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">98</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">14</span> Intelligent Fault Diagnosis for the Connection Elements of Modular Offshore Platforms</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jixiang%20Lei">Jixiang Lei</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Alexander%20Fuchs"> Alexander Fuchs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Pernkopf"> Franz Pernkopf</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Katrin%20Ellermann"> Katrin Ellermann</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Within the Space@Sea project, funded by the Horizon 2020 program, an island consisting of multiple platforms was designed. The platforms are connected by ropes and fenders. The connection is critical with respect to the safety of the whole system. Therefore, fault detection systems are investigated, which could detect early warning signs for a possible failure in the connection elements. Previously, a model-based method called Extended Kalman Filter was developed to detect the reduction of rope stiffness. This method detected several types of faults reliably, but some types of faults were much more difficult to detect. Furthermore, the model-based method is sensitive to environmental noise. When the wave height is low, a long time is needed to detect a fault and the accuracy is not always satisfactory. In this sense, it is necessary to develop a more accurate and robust technique that can detect all rope faults under a wide range of operational conditions. Inspired by this work on the Space at Sea design, we introduce a fault diagnosis method based on deep neural networks. Our method cannot only detect rope degradation by using the acceleration data from each platform but also estimate the contributions of the specific acceleration sensors using methods from explainable AI. In order to adapt to different operational conditions, the domain adaptation technique DANN is applied. The proposed model can accurately estimate rope degradation under a wide range of environmental conditions and help users understand the relationship between the output and the contributions of each acceleration sensor. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fault%20diagnosis" title="fault diagnosis">fault diagnosis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=deep%20learning" title=" deep learning"> deep learning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=domain%20adaptation" title=" domain adaptation"> domain adaptation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=explainable%20AI" title=" explainable AI"> explainable AI</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/144740/intelligent-fault-diagnosis-for-the-connection-elements-of-modular-offshore-platforms" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/144740.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">180</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">13</span> Design of Low-Emission Catalytically Stabilized Combustion Chamber Concept</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Annapurna%20Basavaraju">Annapurna Basavaraju</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Andreas%20Marn"> Andreas Marn</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Heitmeir"> Franz Heitmeir</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research in Europe (ACARE) is cognizant for the overall reduction of NOx emissions by 80% in its vision 2020. Moreover small turbo engines have higher fuel specific emissions compared to large engines due to their limited combustion chamber size. In order to fulfill these requirements, novel combustion concepts are essential. This motivates to carry out the research on the current state of art, catalytic stabilized combustion chamber using hydrogen in small jet engines which are designed and investigated both numerically and experimentally during this project. Catalytic combustion concepts can also be adopted for low caloric fuels and are therefore not constrained to only hydrogen. However, hydrogen has high heating value and has the major advantage of producing only the nitrogen oxides as pollutants during the combustion, thus eliminating the interest on other emissions such as Carbon monoxides etc. In the present work, the combustion chamber is designed based on the ‘Rich catalytic Lean burn’ concept. The experiments are conducted for the characteristic operating range of an existing engine. This engine has been tested successfully at Institute of Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics (ITTM), Technical University Graz. One of the facts that the efficient combustion is a result of proper mixing of fuel-air mixture, considerable significance is given to the selection of appropriate mixer. This led to the design of three diverse configurations of mixers and is investigated experimentally and numerically. Subsequently the best mixer would be equipped in the main combustion chamber and used throughout the experimentation. Furthermore, temperatures and pressures would be recorded at various locations inside the combustion chamber and the exhaust emissions will also be analyzed. The instrumented combustion chamber would be inspected at the engine relevant inlet conditions for nine different sets of catalysts at the Hot Flow Test Facility (HFTF) of the institute. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=catalytic%20combustion" title="catalytic combustion">catalytic combustion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=gas%20turbine" title=" gas turbine"> gas turbine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hydrogen" title=" hydrogen"> hydrogen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=mixer" title=" mixer"> mixer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=NOx%20emissions" title=" NOx emissions"> NOx emissions</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71565/design-of-low-emission-catalytically-stabilized-combustion-chamber-concept" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71565.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">305</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">12</span> Impact of Different Fuel Inlet Diameters onto the NOx Emissions in a Hydrogen Combustor</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Annapurna%20Basavaraju">Annapurna Basavaraju</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Arianna%20Mastrodonato"> Arianna Mastrodonato</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Heitmeir"> Franz Heitmeir</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research in Europe (ACARE) is creating awareness for the overall reduction of NOx emissions by 80% in its vision 2020. Hence this promotes the researchers to work on novel technologies, one such technology is the use of alternative fuels. Among these fuels hydrogen is of interest due to its one and only significant pollutant NOx. The influence of NOx formation due to hydrogen combustion depends on various parameters such as air pressure, inlet air temperature, air to fuel jet momentum ratio etc. Appropriately, this research is motivated to investigate the impact of the air to fuel jet momentum ratio onto the NOx formation in a hydrogen combustion chamber for aircraft engines. The air to jet fuel momentum is defined as the ratio of impulse/momentum of air with respect to the momentum of fuel. The experiments were performed in an existing combustion chamber that has been previously tested for methane. Premix of the reactants has not been considered due to the high reactivity of the hydrogen and high risk of a flashback. In order to create a less rich zone of reaction at the burner and to decrease the emissions, a forced internal recirculation flow has been achieved by integrating a plate similar to honeycomb structure, suitable to the geometry of the liner. The liner has been provided with an external cooling system to avoid the increase of local temperatures and in turn the reaction rate of the NOx formation. The injected air has been preheated to aim at so called flameless combustion. The air to fuel jet momentum ratio has been inspected by changing the area of fuel inlets and keeping the number of fuel inlets constant in order to alter the fuel jet momentum, thus maintaining the homogeneity of the flow. Within this analysis, promising results for a flameless combustion have been achieved. For a constant number of fuel inlets, it was seen that the reduction of the fuel inlet diameter resulted in decrease of air to fuel jet momentum ratio in turn lowering the NOx emissions. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=combustion%20chamber" title="combustion chamber">combustion chamber</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hydrogen" title=" hydrogen"> hydrogen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=jet%20momentum" title=" jet momentum"> jet momentum</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=NOx%20emission" title=" NOx emission"> NOx emission</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71579/impact-of-different-fuel-inlet-diameters-onto-the-nox-emissions-in-a-hydrogen-combustor" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71579.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">292</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">11</span> Radiation Skin Decontamination Formulation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Navneet%20Sharma">Navneet Sharma</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Himanshu%20Ojha"> Himanshu Ojha</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dharam%20Pal%20Pathak"> Dharam Pal Pathak</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rakesh%20Kumar%20Sharma"> Rakesh Kumar Sharma</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Radio-nuclides decontamination is an important task because any extra second of deposition leads to deleterious health effects. We had developed and characterise nanoemulsion of p-tertbutylcalix[4]arens using phase inversion temperature (PIT) method and evaluate its decontamination efficacy (DE). The solubility of the drug was determined in various oils and surfactants. Nanoemulsion developed with an HLB value of 11 and different ratios of the surfactants 10% (7:3, w/w), oil (20%, w/w), and double distilled water (70%) were selected. Formulation was characterised by multi-photon spectroscopy and parameters like viscosity, droplet size distribution, zeta potential and stability were optimised. In vitro and Ex vivo decontamination efficacy (DE) was evaluated against Technetium-99m, Iodine-131, and Thallium-201 as radio-contaminants applied over skin of Sprague-Dawley rat and human tissue equivalent model. Contaminants were removed using formulation soaked in cotton swabs at different time intervals and whole body imaging and static counts were recorded using SPECT gamma camera before and after decontamination attempt. Data were analysed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and was found to be significant (p <0.05). DE of the nanoemulsion loaded with p-tertbutylcalix[4]arens was compared with placebo and recorded to be 88±5%, 90±3% and 89±3% for 99mTc, 131I and 201Tl respectively. Ex-vivo complexation study of p-tertbutylcalix[4]arene nanoemulsion with surrogate nuclides of radioactive thallium and Iodine, were performed on rat skin mounted on Franz diffusion cell using high-resolution sector field inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (HR-SF-ICPMS). More than 90% complexation of the formulation with these nuclides was observed. Results demonstrate that the prepared nanoemulsion formulation was found efficacious for the decontamination of radionuclides from a large contaminated population. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=p-tertbutylcalix%5B4%5Darens" title="p-tertbutylcalix[4]arens">p-tertbutylcalix[4]arens</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=skin%20decontamination" title=" skin decontamination"> skin decontamination</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=radiological%20emergencies" title=" radiological emergencies"> radiological emergencies</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nanoemulsion" title=" nanoemulsion"> nanoemulsion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=iodine-131" title=" iodine-131"> iodine-131</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thallium-201" title=" thallium-201"> thallium-201</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/43922/radiation-skin-decontamination-formulation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/43922.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">399</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">10</span> RPM-Synchronous Non-Circular Grinding: An Approach to Enhance Efficiency in Grinding of Non-Circular Workpieces</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Matthias%20Steffan">Matthias Steffan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Haas"> Franz Haas</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The production process grinding is one of the latest steps in a value-added manufacturing chain. Within this step, workpiece geometry and surface roughness are determined. Up to this process stage, considerable costs and energy have already been spent on components. According to the current state of the art, therefore, large safety reserves are calculated in order to guarantee a process capability. Especially for non-circular grinding, this fact leads to considerable losses of process efficiency. With present technology, various non-circular geometries on a workpiece must be grinded subsequently in an oscillating process where X- and Q-axis of the machine are coupled. With the approach of RPM-Synchronous Noncircular Grinding, such workpieces can be machined in an ordinary plung grinding process. Therefore, the workpieces and the grinding wheels revolutionary rate are in a fixed ratio. A non-circular grinding wheel is used to transfer its geometry onto the workpiece. The authors use a worldwide unique machine tool that was especially designed for this technology. Highest revolution rates on the workpiece spindle (up to 4500 rpm) are mandatory for the success of this grinding process. This grinding approach is performed in a two-step process. For roughing, a highly porous vitrified bonded grinding wheel with medium grain size is used. It ensures high specific material removal rates for efficiently producing the non-circular geometry on the workpiece. This process step is adapted by a force control algorithm, which uses acquired data from a three-component force sensor located in the dead centre of the tailstock. For finishing, a grinding wheel with a fine grain size is used. Roughing and finishing are performed consecutively among the same clamping of the workpiece with two locally separated grinding spindles. The approach of RPM-Synchronous Noncircular Grinding shows great efficiency enhancement in non-circular grinding. For the first time, three-dimensional non-circular shapes can be grinded that opens up various fields of application. Especially automotive industries show big interest in the emerging trend in finishing machining. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=efficiency%20enhancement" title="efficiency enhancement">efficiency enhancement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=finishing%20machining" title=" finishing machining"> finishing machining</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=non-circular%20grinding" title=" non-circular grinding"> non-circular grinding</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=rpm-synchronous%20grinding" title=" rpm-synchronous grinding"> rpm-synchronous grinding</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/69537/rpm-synchronous-non-circular-grinding-an-approach-to-enhance-efficiency-in-grinding-of-non-circular-workpieces" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/69537.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">283</span> </span> </div> </div> <ul class="pagination"> <li class="page-item disabled"><span class="page-link">&lsaquo;</span></li> <li class="page-item active"><span class="page-link">1</span></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Feichtinger&amp;page=2">2</a></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Franz%20Feichtinger&amp;page=2" rel="next">&rsaquo;</a></li> </ul> </div> </main> <footer> <div id="infolinks" class="pt-3 pb-2"> <div class="container"> <div style="background-color:#f5f5f5;" class="p-3"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> About <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">About Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support#legal-information">Legal</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/WASET-16th-foundational-anniversary.pdf">WASET celebrates its 16th foundational anniversary</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Account <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile">My Account</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Explore <li><a href="https://waset.org/disciplines">Disciplines</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conferences">Conferences</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conference-programs">Conference Program</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/committees">Committees</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Publications</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Research <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts">Abstracts</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Periodicals</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/archive">Archive</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Open Science <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Philosophy.pdf">Open Science Philosophy</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Award.pdf">Open Science Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Society-Open-Science-and-Open-Innovation.pdf">Open Innovation</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Postdoctoral-Fellowship-Award.pdf">Postdoctoral Fellowship Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Scholarly-Research-Review.pdf">Scholarly Research Review</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Support <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">Support</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Contact Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Report Abuse</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="container text-center"> <hr style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:.3rem;"> <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" target="_blank" class="text-muted small">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a> <div id="copy" class="mt-2">&copy;
